A Peace Plan for Cameroon in the 21st century

Fellow Cameroonians and Friends of Cameroon

My heart goes out to families that are affected by tribal conflicts and wars in Cameroon. By the same token, I also extend my sincere condolence to all the bereaved families.

Here is my own humble contribution toward the destiny of our country. Preventive education and practical measures could be worthwhile for us.Unless we engage in something like this and become proactive, we cannot have results. Some of you have asked me what I want us to do and I did explain that if we do not understand the magnitude and nature of the problems we have in our country, it would be hard to explore a just and peaceful path toward solving them. In that light,

I have completed my research by putting these different perspectives regarding our complex soceity. In these documents, there are three important components for the task of working for forgivness, reconciliation and peace. Many of us have learned about Truth, Reconciliation Commissions in South Africa. It was adopted in Liberia, and all these have taken place after humanity allows things to get bad enough! We can prevent civil war, genocide, or any unpredictable crisis that can put our societies into a more difficult situation because of frustration and anger. I know and understand that many of us are not directly involved with some of these problems but I still think that we all need a just, peaceful and prosperous society together.

This peace plan is not perfect and absolute. I need your critiques, questions, insights and contributions. Drop me a sentence or two about what we can add or substract. I will take your contributions seriously into consideration. I shall then compile them and acknowledge your input as deemed appropriate and we shall then recommend it to the appropriate quarters. The last phase will be accompanied with a memorandum making a strong case for freedom, justice and peace in a very formal way after my postings in the last one month today. The goal here is to target all mission churches in Cameroon, professionals ,peace corps, diplomats in our evolving and fast growing global community. We have the moral obligation to stop and prevent human tragedy. Please, you have two weeks to get back to me. I will appreciate to hear from you.

The last segment of this effort will be about the Ethics of Peace, which will focus on the just war theory. I should get that to you, too soon. We are witnesses to one another in this struggle to change our country and again I ask for your comments and support. I will appreciate if this information is given  a wide publicity among Cameroonians around the world. This is our time to make a difference.

 Thank you
 Humbly submitted
