LEGAL AND LAWFUL PLUNDER IN CAMEROON: SELF-PERPETRATED BY ARTICLE 66 OF CAMEROON'S CONSTITUTION

• Legal and Lawful Plunder in Cameroon must be abolished in order to put Cameroon on the fast track to good governance and the rule of law.

 

• Article 66 perpetrates legal plunder because it has never been enforced. This is one of the sole causes of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship on Cameroonians

 

 

Greetings again. Since 2009, I stated very categorically that there was something seriously wrong with the text of article 66 of our constitution because when I first laid hands on a copy of the Constitution and had the opportunity to study it, I was shocked about how much the supreme laws of our country were grossly violated with so much impunity.

 

In political advocacy and campaign to establish a strong case for a virtuous and free society, there is always the last straw on the carmel's back. You know I had wondered why a government would be so cruel and heartless towards its citizens even when there were simple and random acts of agitations, which needed a simple response. I have been quite troubled for years and felt that there was definitely some dangerous conspiracy perpetrated from outside with the collaboration of the brutal regime of President Paul Biya of Cameroon to legalize plunder.

 

The fight to bring about Good Governance and the rule of law in Cameroon must taken seriously into consideration Legal/lawful plunder by both President Paul Biya and his CPDM government, and outside perpetrators like France, Britain and some individuals within the United States of America.No virtuous and free society can respect human rights as well as prosper under legal and lawful plunder.    It is legal and lawful plunder that has provoked all the other evils like endemic corruption, gross violation of human rights, crimes against humanity and the murder of individuals by President Paul Biya and his secret service  including but not limited to First Lady Jean-Irene Biya, Two Roman Catholic Nuns, Roman Catholic Priests and many more.   One must be convinced beyond any reasonable doubts that corrupt tyranny and dictatorship has been at their best in Cameroon. What kind of results other than what we have endured for more than 50 years? We live in our own country under chains of oppression , terrorization and dehumanization from our own governments ,which by their actions have forced most people to believe that it is Ok to kill in order to keep the State functioning properly?   So, how does any United States official expect us, Cameroonians to take ownership of our country when they are part of the problem of legal and lawful plunder? They have to first of all admit that they are wrong and actually begin right away to value the sacred and inalienable rights of all Cameroonians with respect to article 66 and other laws.   My cyber space protest and revolution against President Paul Biya and the CPDM regime has not only been a strong disagreement with the Vatican and other governments that aid and abet Paul Biya and his government of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship but a sign for the humpty-dumpty governments that falsely pass around as democracy! One of the basic tenets of a democratic society is when people are free to express themselves without fear of reprisal, intimidation, threats and retaliation from the powers that be but when fear has taken precedence over patriotism and loyalty to the State institutions and public servants, then that nation has an abnormal existence -a down syndrome- which impedes the  proper functioning of a government. Understanding lawful/legal plunder in Cameroon with respect to article 66 of the constitution and loans from overseas to the CPDM corrupt tyranny and dictatorship, which perpetrates plunder. Fadil Bayero is a flamboyant Cameroonian/African business magnet who supports President Paul Biya's Life Presidency through fake Presidential elections.I have taken upon myself to engage him with some salient issues ,which has hardly been brought to the attention of the  ruling junta and the stakeholders in Cameroon with respect to legal and lawful plunder. If legal or lawful plunder is a vice, then it breeds a vicious socio-economic and political system. This kind of system works against creativity, invention and innovation, which are some of  the ingredients for economic growth. In other words legal or lawful plunder stands in the way of empowering citizens in any society to contribute to the work force and to their well-being. Truth be told, plunder in all its shape is not of God and it undermines development or impedes development of people and society because only a small group of people benefit from legal/lawful  plunder through insidious political activities against those who question their unbriddle materialism and ill gotten wealth. Economic growth in every society is measured by the ability of the citizens and  country to reach their full potentials by being productive and proactive. So, what happens when citizens are paralysed with either artificial laziness or the complete lack of incentives for their creativeness, inventions and innovations? Either they are exploited by legal plunders or their abilities do not go too far.Who is guilty of legal/lawful plunder? If France, Britain and the United States are involved with the Cameroon government in any form of legal/lawful plunder , I believe that this must be abolished so that everyone is given his or her due with what we are blessed.We continue to call on all stakeholders in Cameroon to cooperate with us to remove Paul Biya from power immediately. It wrong for the United States Department to be urging free and fair elections in  Cameroon whereas they actually know that the government is a bad government. Minful of the world's ever growing desire to promote good governance and the rul of law among governments and their people, there is a moral obligation knocking at the doorstep of our conscience to begin to accept the responsibility to partner with one another to enable this vision come to fruition. I have been intermittently stunt that the Cameroon laws have not only legalized plunder but has also legalized gross violation of human rights and crimes against humanity. Although we have the law , the "Head of State",Paul Biya rules by decrees, which are unlawful. You see, he functions very well as President when he sign "decrees" and earns " motions of support" in return or the other way around, which are unlawful, anyways. This is how pervert the law can be. How can one introduce the notion and principles of good governance ,and the rule of law in a society like Cameroon governed through decrees, and motions of support?   If you do not participate in the collective sins of motions of support to evoke a Presidential decree for a specific need, the lawful plunderers will never help you meet your needs. In other words there are not sacred and inalienable rights for the citizens of Cameroon since the "Head of State" is the sole person who dictates how Cameroonian should live. Failure to live according to his whims and caprices, you either quit from the country or arbitrarily arrested and illegally detained forever or end up in extra-judicial killings. Therefore, I  wanted Cameroonians who are fighting tooth and nail to ensure that Cameroon dictator Paul Biya is President for life to understand that our passion for justice is very justified. The only way we can bring about sustainable development for citizens in African countries is to create a political system of good governance and the rule law. These laws must be selfless laws as opposed to convenient laws made to satisfy individuals or a small group of people dying to hold unto political power as long as they want. No society will ever see the light of progress and  prosperity when those who possess political power in a given moment  are not gifted with the enlightenment required to liberate them from greed. It is not every law that meets the appropriate definition of law because it all depends on who made the law. In the case of Cameroon, the fact that President Paul Biya has always been allowed to change the constitution whenever he likes, this unceremonious attitude is a concrete evidence to the fact that there are good and bad laws.   Good laws wil inspire absolute confidence in the Judiciary branch as well as capable of sheltering the citizens whenever they are bruised by the stormy blast of some injustice. On the contrary, pervert laws will defend the powerful few with their unscrupulous means of livelihood. Granted this scenario, Federic Bastriat defines such bad laws as follows; " The law perverted! And the police powers of the state perverted along with it! The law, I say,not only turned from its proper purpose but made to follow an entirely contrary purpose! The law become the weapon of every kind of greed! Instead of checking crime, the law itself guilty of the evils it is supposed to punish!" This is exactly the problem at stake. If we have no control over the existing laws in Cameroon, then why are we first of all  a sovereign country and forced to live with perverted laws? In 2010 when we first called for President Paul Biya to step down as President of the legal plunder society call Cameroon, many Cameroonians were  subscribed to this cyber revolutionary movement incognito and were  wondering why we concomitantly carried an ultimatum to France and other stakeholders in Cameroon to stop backing corrupt tyranny and dictatorship.   The ultimatum advised them in very strong terms that any business dealings with the CPDM ruling junta under Paul Biya was not acceptable under universal principles of human dignity. Our argument was grounded in the gross mismanagement of the country at all levels including but not limited to the endowed natural resources.Let me share with you why up till today we are concerned about legal or lawful plunder. The fact about colonization and neo-colonization is, countries that have vested economic interest in Cameroon made possible through their investments and extraction of Cameroon's mineral are co-conspirators in legal plunder.It is very obvious to me in particular that many  business magnets in Africa have made significant gains for themselves under the current climate of  legal and lawful plundering. Unfortunately, colonization and slavery through the systems of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship have made plunder lawful and normal among the classes of Cameroonians and Africans who make the laws that produce legal plunder. What I am decrying is the fact that the laws are made to perpetrate plunder within and without,which explains why France and other nations have this tendency of always being more friendly with corrupt tyrants and dictators since they help them to cultivate a serene environment for plunder in the name of our common humanity or celebration of diversity. Do not be surprised that many of the perpetrators of legal/lawful plunder do not even know that they are involved in plundering.If you are reluctant to believe this, just think about lawful and legal slavery, lawful racial segregation , lawful apatheid and lawful sexism. The Constitution of Cameroon is supposed to be the law as enacted by Parliament and signed by the President into law. The Constitution is even very clear that "the President must ensure respect for the Constitution". When I talk about legal plunder being evil, I am referring to the fact that Dictator Paul Biya of Cameroon  and his government and friends  are intentionally operating outside of the law, which is why we have legal plunder. Frederic Bastiat observes in his book " The Law" ,that "When plunder is organized by law for the profit  of those who make the aw,all the plundered classes try somehow to enter-peaceful or revolutionary means-into making of laws..Woe to the nation when this latter purpose prevails among the mass victims of lawful plunder when they , in turn,seize the power to make laws!..As soon as the plundered classes gain political power,they establish a system of reprisals against other classes.They do not abolish legal plunder( This objective would demand more enlightenment than they possess.) Instead ,they emulate their evil predecessors by participating in this legal plunder,even though it is against their own interest"  Business men like Fadil Bayero is expected to be accountable to Cameroonians, Africa and the world with his business connections with African Dictators especially Cameroon. Fadil Bayero has increased the list of Cameroonians who are steeped into unscrupulous business dealings with the ruling junta of Cameroon,which is why he came in defense of Mr Paul Biya and his code of doom on Cameroonians.  Since Fadil Bayero has demonstrated that he is capable of defending the CPDM statusquo, he should not run away from the concerns he is bound to face. In case he  did not know where to find article 66 of Cameroon's constitution , here is article 66 for you to see.Based on the definition of legal/lawful plunder,it is evident that article 66 was actually written to enable legal plunder ,which is the more reason why none of the officials mentioned in this article have ever declared their assets.Unfortunately, the police and military forces have helped them to by not checking  the crimes that these people have committed against the State and people.                                             Article 66 "The President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Members of Government and persons ranking assuch, the President and Members of the Bureau of the National Assembly, the President and Members of the bureau of the Senate, Members of Parliament, Senators, all holders of an elective office, Secretaries-General of Ministries and persons ranking as such, Directors of the Central Administration, GeneralManagers of public and semi-public enterprises, Judicial and Legal Officers, administrative personnel in-charge of the tax. base, collection and handling of public funds, all managers of public votes ,property, shall declare their assets and property at the beginning and at the end of their tenure of office.The other categories of persons to whom the provisions of this article shall apply and the conditions of implementation thereof shall be determined by law"   Fadil Bayero being grilled Are you defending Paul Biya and the system for the sake of your business or you are interested for genuine change? Why has Paul Biya and his government never declared their assets per article 66 of Cameroon constitution? What kind of economic growth do you expect in that kind of dangerously corrupt society with such corrupt leaders? So, we must die under bad leaders as if we are not entitled to life? It is bad economics to invest in a corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. I don't know how you business people are doing it.You people must be doing something extremely wrong like exploiting tax payers and the people of Cameroon who toil day and night granted that Paul Biya and his government have never declared their assets according to article 66. I wonder if you have ever read the constitution to understand why legal plunder is evil because it is organized stealing and exploitation of Cameroonians by Paul Biya and his gang . Are you one of them? This is basic economic principle,which has worked against our society. You know why? It is run by corrupt people with their children and cohorts. I am afraid that you're not understanding that 1993 and 2011 are not in the same time frequency. This is a completely new generation of Cameroonians. We are  the little ones when Paul Biya rose to the Supreme Majesty as President in 1982.Our little ones were born while he was in power and they have come of age while Paul Biya is still there with broken dreams and aspirations that can't be met.You must be kidding to think that we  don't understand the issues. What else do you want us to think and speak against before you know that a good economy for a country is rooted in the moral obligation for people to be accountable for what God has blessed us with. Jesus Christ of Nazareth said that a sower must plant his seed on fertile soil if he or she expects to have a bountiful harvest. Does this make sense to you that our generation is astounded by the fact that people are expecting Paul Biya and his CPDM who epitomizes a bad soil to bear a good seed and produce an abundant harvest? Are we going to be a cursed nation with bad leaders or simply to look ahead ? Why must Paul Biya be the one when he  has reigned for so long? What does he and you people still want? Besides  working with my other closed associates like CAMDIAC men and women calling on Paul Biya to step down against the backdrop of the Manifesto for a Virtuous and Free Cameroon, which marks the preamble of this historic life transforming journey into a new Cameroon, the revolution of the conscience and commotion of the human spirit is all staked into the following 10 conditions for a new Cameroon otherwise virtuous and free society. 1) 21 points for a transitional Government to last for 24 months published since 2009 2) The Foundational case for the 21 points and Transitional Government accompanied the 21 points reinforced by " Yea, We must be Free" 3) The 33 council for the functioning of the Transitional Government indicating  the method for good governance and the rule of law under God, one nation united in our common dreams and aspirations 4) The Federal system of government with Independents States or regions under a new political paradigm with the separation of powers under the three arms of Government namely the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary Branches with the appropriate constitutional texts for the enforcement of the laws. 5) The Cameroon Truth Commission and Cameroon( CTC) Integration and Reconciliation Council( CIRUC) to follow the example of other Truths Commissions in Africa 6) The Elaborate Peace Plan , known as the Road Map for a peaceful plan for Cameroon.This is a preventive measure,which hightlights a pragmatic approach and long term solution to solving the Cameroon problems in the light of the above 5 points 7) The role of stakeholders in Cameroon ,who include various Cameroonian organizations and influenctial people outside of the corrupt tyranny and dictatorship of the CPDM regime. Yes, I hold very strongly that we cannot solve Cameroon's problems by pretending that powerful countries like France, Britain, United States and Germany are irrelevant in all these.They have been part and paracel of Cameroon.Consequently, their presence and involvement in Cameroon must not be ignored if we must foster the "beloved community" and build bridges across tribes, regions, countries and continents regardless of race, gender creed and national origin of people. That is why I have called for operation isolate Paul Biya recently and this isolation is being championed by those of us eyeing the big picture away from temporal and selfish benefits 8) I have also developed a blueprint on Government and Social Policy ,which is another smart way of asserting the vital importance of social justice reforms for the Cameroons and by all consideration ,this vision resonates with the political platform of the famous Social Democratic Front Party, SDF. Through this all public officials must declare their assets at home and abroad. 10) I have also discussed that we all proceed to stop fake financial statements by fake bank Managers issued to Cameroonians who seek visas to travel to the USA as well as investigate and penalize all Cameroonians who are still on the pay roll of the Government but are no longer resident in Cameroon.These are Cameroonians who have taken up residence in foreign countries and are stealing from the people.We will also avoid political asylum scams. Concomittantly, I have great respect for you as a fellow Cameroonian  reasons why I like to engage , debate and argue with you. You are fast becoming one of the names that I am watching with keen interest to be  partners in the reconstruction of Cameroon but I believe that if you were around in 2009 when I began to inspire and empower Cameroonians and African with what I have called a new generation of visionary and inclusive leaders, you would not have come to the conclusion you have drawn about me. It is quintessential for you to understand why through out history, every authority that flouts the universal principles of human dignty has been brougt down to its knees whether through hook or crook. There is no evidence to pin down that I disrespect authority although I know that speaking truth to power most of the time has caused some panic and discomfort within certain quarters of powerful men and women with authority. If people handle authority properly,they will never have to come face to face with activists, human rights and political advocates. Do you see my point? I will be overloading you with obvious evidence except that from time to time it is necessary to refresh your memory with the hope that you'll not slumber into "slothful ignorance" with the lack of "rigorous enlightenment". A debate on a way forward for Cameroon about vigorous enlightenment against slothful ignorance. The triumph of free speech over dictatorship  when you make myself, Jonathan Awasom President of a "new Cameroon", virtuous and free, to  work collectively with all of you to bring this vision to fruition.   Mr Bens Awaah refers to Jonathan Awasom as "Reverend" in this unprecedented debate and argument. A leader who is not afraid to engage, debate and argue his case before the world.      Mr Bens Awaah   "Reverend, I am not in a contest with you. Whoever you are griping about is not going to hand power to you or any other Camerounian willingly. So what are going to do about beyond writing and arguing? Calling me and the NCNC all kinds of names will not solve the problem" .  Bens Awaah , SCNC and supporter of Kah Walla     Thank you for your comments but I will disagree with you. My vision is for freedom through vigorous enlightenment and if you remember, this is enshrined into the Manifesto for a virtuous and free Cameroon.This is what has characterized my advocacy since 2004.   It has been a long haul and we are getting there no matter the ups and downs. No one puts his or her  hand on the plough and looks back  is fit for the kingdom of " In God We Trust". Cameroon is bound to be free even if some of you  go in for fake Presidential elections.You won't stop our mission. We are too determined and focused.   I am overly committed and indebted to God's people who are being poisoned with slothful ignorance. None of you opposing myself, Jonathan Awasom  as an aspirant for President of Cameroon  to lead a 24 months transitional government have ever succeeded to explain to anyone why you think I cannot be President. Your excuses are mere intolerance  and other forms of prejudice.   First of all,before we can really change Cameroon, there has to be a  complete change in mentality. Go back and read your comments again. There are very disappointing but such comments only provide me with an opportunity to either enlighten or educate you people.This is the kind of new leadership I bring to the table without fear or favor.In short, "vigorous enlightenment" must "triumph over slothful ignorance" and shameless denial due to intellectual dishonesty.   There are over 200 political Parties in Cameroon with only about 19 million people. This is ridiculous and should not be tolerated and any Cameroonian running for public office who does not want to contest with me is on the wrongside of history.   A good leader with a vision is one who is not afraid to engage the civil society regardless of who is an integral part of that society. If you noticed very well,since 2009 when I first declared my candidacy for a 24 months transitional government I have been very persistent with engaging, debating and arguing with Cameroonians and others as  the new paradigm shift among Cameroonians who in the past have been made to think that people in public office are untouchable. When it comes to you in particular , I have engaged you and not who you support.   Among all those who claim that they can be President of Cameroon, I am the only one who has engaged most of you Cameroonians and also very open at anytime to engage the White House, State Department, Vital Voices Partnership, President Bill Clinton, Democratic Black Caucus, the Congress,World Bank, CPDM-USA, Cameroon Ambassador to the US, US Ambassador to Cameroon and all other people within the Civil society.   The vision for rebuilding Cameroon so that we eventually come to such a new political paradigm that will usher in a new era for Cameroon  is more important than me.It is about us Cameroonians and all other citizens of the world living within Cameroon as missionaries, diplomats and civil society, per se. We all have a moral responsibility to change Cameroon to be a place for everyone.You and your likes are not going  to endorse mediocrity by participating in fake elections simply because you don't want anybody to give political power to me,Jonathan Awasom willingly.That shows selfishness and that you're only out to sabotage.I have made my case as to why I am competent and qualified to lead as I have always done as a visionary leader. Sorry, you won't achieve your secret agenda.If there is no contest then you are not fit to run for any public office.   What many of you Cameroonians are still to learn is the amazing feat of my achievements as a Community Organizer, Senior Community Consultant and Organizer , a very successful political advocate and activist as well as a very succesful Church Reformer. It is only a matter of time for the world to learn about one kind of a human being who is yet to be discovered. I have have infleunced the United States Presidents both past and President with my political advocacy and vision for a virtuous and free societies in Africa by using Cameroon as an example.   I have also infleunced Congress men and women as well as Senators of the United States with most critical issues affecting us in Africa and Cameroon. Every of my vision shared with Cameroonians for a transitional government has also been shared with US officials.When I came out with a blueprint on how to end poverty and injustice in Africa, a passionate memorandum ,which I shared with the White House and G-8 Summit officials in Canada, they both aknowledged receipt and reassured me of their unfringly commitment to take my suggestions into consideration vis a vis the Millennium Challenge Corpoartion( MCC) .   Since then I have continued to pursue the blueprint ,which I also shared with the World Bank.In almost every City that I have lived within the United States, I have made a difference and most oftenm resuting into new laws against issues or problems that violated either civil or human rights here in America or overseas in Africa. The list of my achievements are an integral  part of my resume,which I intend to reslease to Cameroonians,Africans and the world to see for themselves.   Therefore, I did not only influence the Synod of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon when I published 100 theses for social justice reforms now being implemented for the good of thousands of people.In the aftermath, PCC christians are very conscious now about social justice and the dictatorial ways of the Synod.Free speech has taken a new level within the Churhces as Chritians are gradually taking back their powers from Synod members who used to bully and intimidate Christians and Pastors. What I mean is Christians know their sacred and inalienable rights now ,which was deprived of them by corrupt Synod members.   The 100 theses was a good example of stepping out of the box and it has impacted the Church and is changing lives. Also take great notice that the 100 theses has also influenced the Presbyterian Church ,USA in their partnership with the Presbyterian in Cameroon( PCC).In 2005, two copies of the 100 theses were given to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis who are very involved in Cameroon.Early in 1999 when I first published the theses, the Basel Mission in Germany also had a copy and have since then played a major role in the implementation of the 100 theses.   If you follow the Cameroon constitution right now, you will discover that so far I am the only person who has what it takes to help my country transition into a better nation. I have the qualification, character, vision, ideas , experience, education and human spirit to lead Cameroonians out of this current intransigence.President  Paul Biya is not eligible to run for President and so, too are all members of his government including but not limited to his appointed governors, Ambassadors and Directors. Also, his Parliamentarians both past and present are also not eligible because they are failed lawmakers at the time we needed them so bad to derail the crimes against humanity committed by President Paul Biya and his regime. By being aloof, it is clear that they aided and abetted injustice against Cameroonians.   It is not my fault that all of them failed to respect article 66 as well as uphold transparent electoral laws.I bring with me to the table the experience of a visionary leader ,which I have acquired since I was in Cameroon.While in the Diaspora, I have also distinguished myself again as a visionary leader. I have succeeded to educate, inspire and empowered Cameroonians in ways that they have become more conscious about politics with an unprecedented interest in Cameroon politics. These are some of the exceeding feats that I have accomplished and can only be very humble and grateful to God and those who have testified to this. I quote Mr Akoson Raymond just as one example.   When I started this movement to change Cameroon,, many of you SCNC people were fighting among yourselves over political asylum scams that some of you were accused of. There was no credible organization wihin the diaspora who could deliver except pro-CPDM lobby group like ACCDF.If you notice very well  as you come to the consciousness and realization that the enthusiasm of Cameroonians about Cameroon politics has grown leaps and bounds because of the style I adopted to engage them. This is a fact that my vision and method of empowering a new and  younger generation of Cameroonians to be interested in inclusive leadership has so far been a huge success. I do not want some of you to take away my achievements from me but be inspired and support a noble cause that will transform Cameroon into a virtuous and free society.If there is no contest then there is no  freedom.   Political  power is not supposed to be handed over willing but it should not also be earned through fraud and falsehood.What my vision articulates is for all of us Cameroonians and Stakeholders to come together.From there we create the appropriate political atmosphere and landscape where all of us will compete fairly like it is happening in other free and democratic societies. I deserve the sacred right to lead my people to freedom and prosperity. This is the case I have made to the US congress and the International civil society. I will never relent my effort as a political asylee within the US who has learned from Americans from all walks of life and willing and ready to use this knowledge to change Cameroon together with my fellow Cameroonians and stakeholders.   I know you have almost passed out since I engaged you. You people have been name calling others, too especially CPDM.So, if debating and arguing with you results into name calling ,which means you are dubious and tribalistic, then so be it. If name calling means that you guys are afraid of accountability, then I am glad that holding you accountable in public means name calling.You have not yet answered the fundamental questions that I asked you.   You named called the CPDM ex-Parliamentarian and accused him for seeking for votes among Southern Cameroonians by pretending that he cares about SCNC. Then questioned you about your Kah Walla doing the samething and why you did not have the same reaction you have against Paul Ayah? You claimed that she said she would bring up the SCNC issue if voted President! But Paul Ayah also has the same platform , right?   How come you SCNC people are now supporting the CPDM platform for fake Presidential elections in Cameroon whereas you were against them   and had given them some of the worst name callings ever? Your actions are very suspicious and I am right to be concern. None of you ever wanted to deal with anyone who was interested in Cameroon as one nation under God through a Federal system. You are more interested in political sound bites than explore issues with an objective mind largely because many of you are driven emotionally by your self-perpetrated stereotypes and prejudices.   You remember I gave you an assignment to do some research on the South African Truth Commission after apartheid and you did not. So, I decided to furnish you with first hand information on it  in a bid to justify the need for a similar Truth Commission for Cameroon. I was taken aback when you as a staunch SCNC member sounded indifferent to the proporsal of Cameroon Truth Commission, which will have the legal mandate to probe into all the crimes against humanity committed during and after colonization and neo-colonization. Can you explain why you are against the truth? We need the Cameroon Truth Commission in order to probe into all the allegations and accusations and counter accussations we have made  against each other with respect to the gross violation of human and civil rights. This is one of the ways for us to arrive at good governance and the rule of law.   It is true to observe that not everyone has respected the principle of engagement but so far I am satisfied  that I can humbly present myself anywhere as a very tolerant person who appreciates free speech. This is the difference between myself and many of you who still want to force intolerant and undemocratic leaders on others. Unfortunately, the time is over for all these.   In a civilized human society ,where primates are the lower specie and human beings created as dominion over primates, human beings are bound to be accountable because of their cognitive privileges.Some of you Cameroonians want to play politics of no accountability. It is wrong and outdated. Bens Awaah, there is no way you guys can escape from being accountable to te civil society. This is the lesson you are learning. You cannot proceed to vote people who have never been accountable except pointing fingers at SDF,Paul Biya and all what not.   You want that whatever you state or do should be the gospel truth and not to be constested. The slightest art of argument and debate infuriates some of you to the point of almost passing out. How can one ever trust any of you when you folks have no self-confidence and always angry when grilled? Mudoch arrives the British Parliament today to answer questions about the hacking scandal. So, you think he will start complaining like you folks, Bens Awaah?   Ironically, you are the same people who will blast Paul Biya and CPDM Party/regime as colonizers of Southern Cameroon. I am deeply concerned with the trauma, mental torture and emotional distress that families of victims of murder of any sort go through. It is even more severe when such families are trapped in a society that condones murder by the head of State as a necessary evil  in order to enhance the smooth functioning of the "Republic".

This obviously sounds like Machiavellian kind of State where the Prince is under some cynical duty to kill when his interest and lust for power is at stake. I have to wonder why the world did not pay attention to the murder of Cameroon's First lady , Jean Irene Biya in 1992. You just need to google her name and appreciate the pressure on the world  not to ignore this very disturbing matter.

One of Africa's longest serving brutal dictators , President Dictator Paul Biya has forgotten in his wild  quest to stay in power for life that he murdered his  first  wife! Now , we have an obligation to revisit the circumstances that led to the untimely death of Mr Paul Biya's first wife,  First Lady Madam Jean -Irene Biya. I have to state very clearly that living within the United States has really inspired me to develop the proper understanding of  unsolved mysteries.

The human family must first of all understand why a man who has it all except a peace of mind wants to die in power? According to their warp mind,hanging unto power under hook or crook will spare him the trouble of a likely investigation and prosecution for the murder of his first wife, First Lady Jean-Irene Biya.

 

Come to think of the case of Anthony Casey ,which became a media frenzy till date. However this unfolded, the truth is I saw a situation where every detail of this case was cross-examined in a bid to appreciate the circumstance under ,which her daughter died. A virtuous and free society is one ,which is built on the restless conscience of people who cannot close their eyes to the demise of victims of murder. The fact that the former First Lady is not around to advocate for herself since she was a victim , is one of the major reasons why society is called upon to seek the truth and justice.

 

We do not want anybody to be killed again in Cameroon over mere politics of cynicism and greed. It irks me when Missionaries and diplomats  are walking up and down inside Cameroon while the government is arbitrarily violating the human rights of unarmed civilians.It is even more disturbing when some people claim that they have nothing to do with the internal affairs of Cameroon and that only Cameroonians should solve their problems. Oh, boy, why are you first of all present in Cameroon and what are you doing there to the extent ,which  you do not feel a sense of moral responsibility to the internal issues of the country and people?  If I am resident within America, automatically, I have the profound moral obligation to be vigilant citizen.This means stand up if terrorists want to hurt America and Americans. The moral logic is clear. If something goes wrong with America, right now, my interest will be at stake.So, I must protect America, right?   By the same token, Americans inside Cameroon must think outside of the box. The State Department must think outside of the box and the council on foreign relations must think outside of the box. The Congress must think outside of the box because they are no longer dummies except a handful of Cameroonians who are still very confused in this DNA age of reason and heighten enlightenment

What happened to First Lady Jean-Irene Biya? This is one of the most forgotten women's rights forgotten by the world in spite of the fact the United States Department issues annual reports on human rights situation of Cameroon. So, does the US CIA and intelligence not know about the murder of First Lady Jean-Irene Biya? This is the current human rights report card of Cameroon. As usual, it is horrible.

Cameroon, with a population of approximately 19 million, is a republic dominated by a strong presidency. The country has a multiparty system of government, but the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) has remained in power since it was created in 1985. The president retains the power to control legislation and rules by decree. "

Someone who has no history of heart attack and was never known to be a sickly and was never reported being sick but was announced dead and hurriedly buried. Her Husband lingered around for a while and shed  crocodile tears and not long after he remarried under the watchful eyes of the international diplomatic corps. Cameroonians were scared to death to talk about this domestic  homicide ,which can only be compared with the death of Desdemona. Was First Lady Jean-Irene strangled in her home or she was shut at point blank? What did the medical autopsy say about her death?


I am writing to reiterate to Cameroonians, Africans and the entire human race that I have refused to be ruled by a murderer. Dictator Paul Biya conspired with his cohort  in the inner cycle of his corrupt power and callously murdered his first wife, Jean Irene Biya. Two Catholic Nuns who knew about the problems between Paul Biya and his wife Jean Irene were also murdered simultaneously. I am calling for  an international commission of inquiry to investigate the murder of former First lady Jean -Irene Biya.

I hope that international organizations who advocate for women's rights as well as voices  for democracy will support this campaign to hold Paul Biya and those who helped him to murder his wife accountable. Madam Jean -Irene Biya was a critical voice for democracy and women's rights.She was an intellectual who craved for a society where according to her faith as a Roman Catholic, social justice policies will be established to help women, mothers and young girls but her Husband Dictator Paul Biya saw her as a threat to his selfish political agenda and thought it was easier for him to get rid of her!

About two Roman Catholic Priests also were murdered.It is alleged that during their marital trouble exacerbated by corrupt politics that dictator Paul Biya was involved in, Jean Irene Biya would confide in the two Nuns for counseling. The two in turned confided in some Catholic Priests,too. Eventually, when Paul Biya plotted to end her life, all the immediate people who knew about their problems were shortlisted to be murdered and of course it did happen.

Yet, members of his government simply ignore the fact that he was a murderer and showered him with fake condolences with a perfect murder in broad day light. I remember very well, that Cameroonians were warned in secrecy not to speak about and there were threats of retaliation and elimination of anyone who dare spoke up against the murder.

Paul Biya and his wicked government have wanted to get away with the murder of an innocent lady who did not deserve to die so young but we must speak the truth and call the attention of the world to this injustice. Jean Irene Biya did not have to be killed because of the political ambitions of Paul Biya. As I have said all what he should have done was divorce her peacefully but he conspired with his gang of secret service and murdered her.
Paul Biya of Cameroon is not above the law and justice. Some how this individual thinks that by fighting to remain in power for life, that means he would never have to answer before humanity for all his crimes against humanity.

Minister Ngolle Ngolle must explain to us Cameroonians what he knew about the murder of Former First Lady Jean-Irene Biya. This particular Minister was a Professor at ERIC when Jean -Irene Biya was murdered. These are the sort of men who saw evil and turned away from it out of their personal greed. It is no surprised that they are shameless and heartless.
How on earth would a nation with men and women who have a Ph.D and have read law , history and political science tolerate the murder of the first lady without investigation at all into what happened.

The world really needs to start prosecuting some of these men and women in Africa to set an example to others. How does anyone ever expect Cameroon , which has been governed by insane men and women to progress when people who appear to be educated adore a murderer in the name of a President? President Paul Biya is a roman Catholic Christian and seem to enjoy receiving Holy Communion from the Pope.Let him come clean about the dead of his former wife, Jean-Irene Biya.

Let those who are making that so called "Paul Biya: The People 's Call" remind themselves that no matter how long it takes, we must get to the bottom of the murder of Jean Irene Biya, the two  nuns and a number of Catholic Priests who were murdered in connection with the murder of First Lady Jean-Irene Biya.

We must stand up for our nation and people who are being intentionally misled by the corrupt Ministers and Prime Ministers, governors and Parliament surrounding dictator Paul Biya. We must continue this struggle as far as the World Justice Project, ICC and other world bodies who must be inclined to our concerns. Paul Biya and the CPDM regime are learning today that they can fool some of the people some of the time and not all the people all the time.

Those who are advocating for the people's call should first of all explain to us why they have failed to enforce article 66 of our constitution with respect to assets declaration.
Debts cancellation is not a bad idea but when a corrupt governments steal from the loans, we should not just accept that the debts be canceled without knowing what happened.

When a corrupt dictator like Paul Biya takes our financial resources and bribe some Cameroonians with it, what does he expect? When shall we be debt free when a nation is turned into a private plantation where everybody lines up as a Presidential candidate in order to collect their own share and go about on pleasure trips all over? Instead of paying off the debts and investing into the people's life, the financial resources are invested into empty and unrealistic pursuits.

France has no right to cancel debts whereas we do not know the purpose of loans given to Cameroon.I believe that we are supposed to know when the loans were disbursed to the Cameroon government, how much was the loan, who received the loan and how it was spent before we proceed to consider cancellation of any debts accrued. If we continue to allow others to dictate on us with such contempt and violation of our human rights, then we will never come out of our demise.

We have a constitution that ought to guide and direct our political affairs in ways that ensures there is fair play and accountability. We are not babies to be manipulated all the time by a  small clique of Ministers who want to do everything  in misleading the masses to keep the statusquo.I want to draw your attention to the fact that all the loud noise we hear about Paul Biya: The People's Call, which must have been published in a lot of volumes is nothing but a loud sounding nothing.

We have come of age in our reasoning to the extent, which Paul Biya and his corrupt  Prime Ministers and Ministers will not succeed to manipulate us and get away with.I want to point out to all of you that all these political fabrications of the CPDM gang is very unconstitutional. They are warned to stop their petty criminal conduct because they will be  charged with treason against the nation of Cameroon. Any political actions that is not in compliance with the Constitution of Cameroon tantamount to treason.

Nowhere is it stated in the Cameroon Constitution that a corrupt political Party like the CPDM regime and all the cohorts should rally and bribe people to whatever they call the people's call. Any attempt by Paul Biya and those corrupt ministers to hijack ou
constitution  in order to stay in power forever will be met with serious consequences.Those who are perpetrating this so called the people's call will be summoned before the Cameroon Truth Commission to answer before the nation.

The calls are laud and clear, the calls are from individuals and groups from the regions, towns and villages and out of Cameroon.

The calls are from CPDM sections, friends and sympathizers of CPDM, youth associations, traditional rulers, local cultural and development unions, student groups, musicians, the army, university teaching staff, chieftaincies, elites from regions, Parent Teacher Associations; a total of 445 motions with different messages, all praising Paul Biya’s leadership and asking him to be candidate for the forthcoming election.

The publication comes at a crucial period, just months before the election, reasons why in his prologue, Philemon Yang, Cameroon’s Prime Minister and Head of Government argues that Cameroon’s democratic culture enhances the search for decisive outcomes  such as transparency, fairness and balanced economic development.

Volume five of  “Paul Biya :The People’s Call is a 470 paged publication subdivided into five sections.

Section 3: Peace and stability in Cameroon
Section 4: Assurances of the respect of public property

The launching ceremony took place this Tuesday, 5th of July 2011 at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel.
The  ceremony was presided over by the Prime Minister of the Republic and Head of Government, Philemon Yang.

Paul Biya: The People’s Call” officially has been compiled by two editors, Jacque Fame Ndongo, Minister of Higher Education and Elvis Ngolle Ngolle, Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, both university professors.

Are you some of the people who have been silent over the murder of  Cameroon First Lady Jean-Irene Biya by her Husband Son Excellence ( H.E) Paul Biya because it is a "private matter"?

I see what you people really mean by pursuit of life ,liberty and happiness as an individual right, which to you people is the right to violate, abuse and kill others in private and then keep living in public because the two are not interconnected! This is pure ignorance.Sorry, it does not pass the test of today's world of transparency and acountability

In what planet are you people  living in , right now Mr Dr Rexon Nting? Why is it that you get to be so subjective when your politics is at stake? Do you people  have any sense of moral compass at all, Rexon Nting? I think you're indeed very confused with yourself. You need to really think twice about your morales. Look at what you have written below

We cannot succeed in building a virtuous and free society by hiding skeletons in the cupboard whether there are in private or public. If other societies are inclined to x-raying what transpires in both private and public lives of public personalities, then we, Cameroonians should not be an exception to the rule.

I have 4 examples , with ,which to buttress this concept but first of all why did the FBI go right into the home of a US Congressman to discover that he hid about 100.000.00 dollars inside his refrigerator like Chicken? Why did  they not search only his office as a public matter and leave his home alone as a private matter?

You people are driven to twist the truth and sometimes without even the slightest reservation and respect for the societies in , which you are blessed because of transparency and accountability. One must realize that some of you are on the wrongside of History.My comments are not necessarily in relation with what Larry has said about Bedzegui as I am about to weigh in on the flawed principle, upon you and Msjoe have unethically  based your fallacies.

So, we should not talk about Paul Biya and the murder of his first wife, First Lady Jean-Irene Biya in public because it was a private matter? Why is it that some of you like to gamble like this with serious moral issues of our time affecting us Cameroonians and Africans? You are living in soceities that are becoming virtuous and free because what people do in private cannot  be concealed from the public because of their position of power and infleunce.This means you  people are outside of the mainstream of proper behavior for politicians and others who hold public offices.

Whatever is their comportment in private, it is known that it affects their public affairs to the extent,which there is no separation of the private from the public in matters of performance, efficiency and exemplary conduct as role models. Leaders are expected by the public offices to go the extra-mile to carry themselves with integrity because many young people  do look up to them by virtue of their offices.

Does this explain to you without any logic why ;

Why did TigerWood's extra-marital affairs as a private matter encroached upon is public career as a Golf legend? Why did the world not simply ignore the matter and say that only him and his wife should deal with it in private?

Former IMF, Chief DSK just lost his job because of your so called "private matters".

Former New York Congressman just resigned and lost his job because of what you call, " those sort of private matters should never be brought into a public forum"
President Bill Clinton had sex with Monica Lewinsky as a Private matter, right?Then why did it become a public matter until he was almost impeached and removed from the White House?

It is not a bad idea to hold people accountable in public. The laws of politics encourage this but public accountability does not have to end up with condemnation if people are repentant(Rehabilitation is one way to repent). The recent sex scandal involving New York Congress man is a clear testimony to the fact that there is nothing like private life for people who hold public offices.Is that clear to you both?

Therefore , the irrational and emotional driven reaction of Rexon Nting and Msjoe against the comments of Mr Larry Eyong  are unethical and inconsistent. What should be taken into consideration is the veracity of the accusations he has made and the severity because a mere argument or disagreement with women in America can land someone in jail for domestic violence.

Cameroonian women and perhaps most African women have been indoctrinated within the United States by other experienced women and perhaps their concubines  that domestic violence accusations /case always favor women. Sometimes police does not even listen to the story of the male accused  of perpetrating violence of any sort.

This has made domestic violence ( DV)  to become a slippery slop for most men who are at the mercy of the system. It suffices for any woman to hit her boy friend or husband and then call 911. Granted the obscurity of this issue, one must be exremely slow to pass any judgment on the African male who might have been convicted of domestic violence and locked up ! If they have taken the anger management as stipulated by law and rehabilitated in society, then we have to Judge the new behavior.

It is equally true that there are some cases where some primitive men still carry with them the old mentality from Africa into this virtuous and free society. Most women who were abused while back in Cameroon have taken advantage of the system here in America to get out of the portracted relationship of abuse ,which they have endured since they were in Cameroon.

These category of victims found emancipation in America where these violent men cannot hit their spouses and get away with or cheat with women as they like. Women and men who suffer domestic violence and sometimes leads to homocide are sure to benefit from the Justice system with the help of Police and advocacy organizations.

Consequently, I cannot rush  to establish that someone who was locked  up by his girl friend was truly violent because most girl friends have a way to manipulate and exploit their victims. If it was true, then it is appropriate to question that in public.

Balanced people disagree at the instant of the issue. One may err in doing so by going overboard. It is up to anyone with his/her God to self-correct or not. When people with a sense of public purpose experience reoccurring source of un-gainful and irrelevant strife, they do not have to deal with it. Delete or block takes care of it. A time-proven rule for sure.

Why?

There is no enforced community on air or even on land. Some are gifted in what they choose to do  and some drift and dart from issue to issue, describing what they don't like about what others are doing or shouldn't be doing. Another name for public nuisance is baptized when someone is anti this or that because of who is doing it; not because the position is inherently wrong and  they cannot substantiate their cringe with any substance.  Arrrrrh. People may manifest their public ideals without further clearance from a crowing nyet, no, nay sect.

Larry, do not cheat yourself from your destiny (if you have found it) by focusing on others or through wanton interference that has nary a thing to do with the issue at hand. And we are on public leadership and outcomes. But that is only one of Gardner's concept of multiple intelligence. I am not so sure which one you are displaying here because it will not pass the test of interpersonal skills that project socio-emotional know-how,  which is indispensable for persuasive and empathetic roles.

What you are doing comes across like one of those who used to insult anyone in the  village as a ruffian, and beat up other kids who appear cleaner. Anyone can get a passport to America. On that day of the interview, only one set of clean clothes is needed.

But Larry,  that is not you!
 
Self-defense is okay. But what did Mr. Bedzugui do to you? He offered his opinions on the priority of dual citizenship vs. challenging Biya's tenureship.  This has nothing to do with giving women rose flowers or beating them otherwise. Go to the next Anglophone movement and  when it is your turn to speak. Say: Mr. Bedzigui was jailed in America because of girlfriend issues. Your astute compatriots would wonder whether you have been eating too much McDonald, using eru for salad, and you are now a moonlighting peeping Tom as a Jehovah witness abroad. So? To liberate VIKUMA or reclaim Afu-Akom with the bombshell? The misaligned blustering is my point. You would be wasting the time of well-meaning people in the assembly with such churlish show of indignation. Peddler of salacious funk will squirm and squeak. But at the end of the day, how does that itch forward any achievable agenda of your movement?

It is not as if you are a physically ugly person because that may also induce some blistering psychosis, which psychiatrists call projection. One may look at him/herself and feel so bad, mishandle the computer, and get into debates with the expressed purpose of inflicting pain because ugliness is what he/she sees. But how can you explain how a handsome and well brought up person like you would do this sort of thing?

Not handling transition from poverty in a levelheaded manner is also a source of aberrancy  because people  either want to shout from the rooftop and there is a nagging need to bring down those whom they think enjoyed while they were deprived and never dreamt of even aero-plane. But again, this is not you.

Lack of love  from early orientation can turn some into public monsters. But you were not an unloved child left to fend for himself - emotionally and materially. Your parents gave you more values, too!

So Larry, what is wrong? If you cannot do this Southern Cameroon thing, has it become a sore loop on a  perpetual docket? Beti people? Do you know that Bayangi people are marrying Betis? So how can you have a neat and purified divide by being profusely foul about it?

My friend, pursue your drive with your God-given (nature) and/or cultivated skills (nurture).  The  fruit of Larry's goal rides on what Larry is doing; not what A,B, C is doing that Larry does not like or whom Larry loves to dislike or hate.

In Cameroon style politics, that is inadmissible. But with your experience, living in the west, I expected you to quickly liaise your thinking with the numerous private scandals that most often lead to resignations  for the good of the public. Occasionally the odd allegation may crop up. But not when someone has actually served a jail term for a crime and some of you want us to turn a blind eye. Wrong! I was just about raising my thumbs up to this new angel of a Celestin Bedzigui not knowing that he had skeletons in the closet. Then this revelation which I think you should really commend Larry for bringing it to our attention. Instead you elect to castigate him for divulging info which I think is of public interest

Thanks Larry for this very important disclosure. All those with skeletons in the closet must come clean when seeking public office or putting themselve forward to public attention.

Larry, The type of language you've used below to describe Bedzigui - esspecially talking publicly about his relationship with a certain girlfriend that led him to jail (whether right or wrong) - is not good. Those sort of problems are private matters that should never be brought into a public forum. As an example, i have a friend now who is currently on bail for a marital offense that never was and without God's intervention, he can be sent to jail.  We must learn to draw a line betweeen what is good for public consumption and what is not. In addition, i would like to advise that Bedzigui might have made some mistakes during his previous political engagements, but we must learn to respect and judge him from his current stance rather than his past. Part of the characteristic of a good leader is to not only be able to accept our mistakes but to be able to use it to make adjustments and continue on towards our original vision in fulfilling our goal. Bedzigui in my view is a fine gentleman with genuine interest in the development of Cameroon. He is not afraid of responsibilities and have taken steps even in the US towards continuing and achieving the vision that he set out to achieve in the beginning through different organisations - while recognising the mistakes he made. Ladies and Gentlemen:  I know Bidzigui as one of the tribalistic traitors of the 1990 Cameroonian revolution who sided with his Beti tribesman Biya to frustrate the SDF because it was a party of "Southern Cameroonians".
