These are all issues we are wrestling with in the world and how can they become a catalyst for the transformation of the world into a global village? I was partly raised in Alabukam Village, mid-way Bamenda and Mbengwi road in the North West Region of Cameroon,West Africa where I captured the essence and spirit of the village. Can we continue to mix oranges with pears, pineapples,paw-paw, bananas, guava and water melon together into a global kind of fruits?

The Global National Anthem is a collection and blending of the National Anthems of over 35 countries in the world into a musical prelude to signal our commitment towards building the Global Village in 21st century  in the light of a virtuous and free world.

This means building bridges of hope, freedom, justice ,peace and love for the global human community where neither color, race, gender or creed will never stop us from a peaceful and  harmonious living. We must break down barriers of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship, tribalism and cronyism ,which impede good governance and the rule of law in Africa and other parts of the world.

Thereafter , we shall  proceed with establishing  meaningful partnerships and relationships within the unfolding global village to the extent, which it must not be the "West" against "Africa" or "Africa" against the "West". Our struggle and fight is to defeat  ignorance, which include but not limited to prejudice, stereotypes, corrupt tyranny ,greed, dictatorship and fear in order to win the hearts and minds of humanity with the human spirits  that will empower our people to commit themselves to being part of the solution to our problems with lasting impacts on this generation and generations to come.

Join the Global Village and let your light shine in the world where there is darkness of injustice and oppression.Let us collectively look at the world through the lens of a village( one humanity, one God, one people and one community, one purpose with common grounds and common  needs)

Here comes the anointed one of God, Jonathan Awasom, your favorite CENTRIST Political Advocate, Human Rights Campaigner, Peace Activist and Visionary and Inclusive Revolutionary Christ-centered leader for a new Cameroon, Africa and the world.

PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA OF CAMEROON MUST FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS ON OR BEFORE THE CPDM EXTRA-ORDINARY CONGRESS AS WELL AS STEP DOWN THIS SEPTEMBER,2011

PRESIDENT PAUL BIYA OF CAMEROON MUST FREE PROF TITUS EZOA AND ALL OTHER POLITICAL PRISONERS BEFORE THE END OF THE CPDM EXTRA-ORDINARY CONGRESS IN SEPTEMBER,2011

--- On Sat, 5/22/10, Jonathan Awasom <jonathanawasom@yahoo.com> wrote:

Fellow Cameroonians and Concerned Citizens

Thank you for your inquiry, questions and concerns about Prof Titus Edzoa. I was just about wrapping -up with my response to you when  a fellow Cameroonian weighed in with such clarity, eloquence and conviction to say the least that the imprisonment of Pro. Titus Ezoa was politically motivated and not really about embezzlement because all the CPDM officials are embezzlers including but not limited to President Paul Biya. Mine will be an addition with total analyses of the environment or setting in, which we are first of all talking about all our political prisoners including but not limited to Prof Titus Ezoa who was your main concern. Our goal is to paint the Biya regime and system as a vicious cycle that even President Paul Biya and those who claim to be better Cameroonians than others ( CHOP PEOPLE DEM MONEY) are not safe there. As a result they see each other as a threat to them.

A vicious cycle is self-destructive and counter-productive. The only correct solution to such a system is Freedom for both the oppressed and oppressor. CAMEROON IS A DICTATORSHIP RULED BY A DICTATOR .HE DEFINES THE RULES OF THE GAME TO SUIT HIM AND SO THOSE WHO ARE NOT "LOYAL" TO HIM ARE DOOMED EVEN IF THEY ARE PATRIOTIC AND LOYAL TO OUR BELOVED COUNTRY.  However, we have issues with the office of President Paul Biya and want him to Free all political Prisoners including but limited  to Titus Ezoa, Lapiro, Justice Mbuh, all SCNC, SDF and human right activists he has arbitrarily arrested over years and locked -up in order to stay in power.
We will not go to sleep until President Paul Biya complies. We want to reiterate that President Paul Biya must not get away with his systematic destruction of other Cameroonians for the sake of his Life Presidency. we have no ill- intentions against Mr Paul Biya as a person with his own family. We are very loving, forgiving and gracious people who understands the joy of a father and mother. But President Paul Biya must also have consideration and compassion on other fathers and mothers, too.

Among the over 1700 Cameroonians registered on camnet, we believe that about 500 of them are members of Paul Biya's government and  about 10 are permanent employees of the Presidency. We suppose their presence is to monitor what is going here in Diaspora. So, our campaign, movement and revolution is not hidden in the closest of fear. Our demands are clear.

Now coming back to the crux of the matter.
The Principal Charge against Prof Titus Ezoa  was not embezzlement. We said before that, Titus Ezoa like any other Cameroonian was a Presidential aspirant within the Beti clan of President Paul Biya. His clan man Paul Biya felt threatened by his public aspiration to seek the Presidency. So he rallied those who were loyal to him within that same clan like Professor Joseph Owona and others to support him  to  go after Prof Titus Ezoa. So he framed him up and brought those charges of embezzlement as a stepping stone to keep him away. Whether they were right or wrong, we must be deeply concerned about the timing vis a vis President Paul Biya's selfish  political agenda.

Honestly as a Cameroonian what he has done will set a very very dangerous precedence in our society if  we just ignore and assume that people are in prison because of charges of corruption.
I think this kind of vindictiveness practiced by the Biya's regime must be strongly condemned because if we have to go with the argument that he was charged with embezzlement then here are some serious issues to consider;

1) Which other Cameroonian Minister including but not limited to Professor Joseph Owona and all other Beti government loyal to President  Paul Biya have been charged for corruption and embezzlement?

2) The Constitution of Cameroon states that all government officials must declare their assets according to article 66. It has been more than 25 years since President Paul Biya came to power and neither him nor any of his government officials from all ranking positions have declared their assets with respect to this article. Therefore, it is disturbing that any of them would claim that Titus Ezoa is in prison because of embezzlement.

3) President Paul Biya himself as head of State has not declared his assets  as we speak. He is the number one corrupt person and has perpetrated corruption and embezzlement in Cameroon against Cameroonians in order to cover -up his own misdeeds. There must be an aspect of the law that discredits his actions because had he been honest and transparent with Cameroonians, then his case would be genuine

4) President Paul Biya is a dictator. Dictators do not like or want rivals.
We know this too well from his decrees and veto powers against policies and laws that threaten his grip unto power. We also know this through all the fraudulent elections he has organized in Cameroon and won all. In fact, once upon a time he saw the Chairman of SDF as his number one enemy and we certainly know that if  he had a way he would also frame  -up Ni John Fru and lock him up. I think they tried several times to bring charges of treason against him and it never quite worked.

5)The Cameroon political environment must be a big concern to us Cameroonians in terms of Free Speech. Every Cameroonian has the right to seek public office so long as they are citizens of Cameroon and decide to engage in politics. What we see here in the case of Titus Ezoa, Lapiro and Justice Mbuh is a gross violation of the First amendment, which Paul Biya himself signed into law according to the Constitution. He is ripe to be charged for crimes against humanity.

In a nutshell, Titus Ezoa would not be arrested and charged of embezzlement had he been LOYAL  to the Dictator.  This is exactly what we must guard against because he rewards people who are Loyal to his totalitarian political system and punishes those who oppose him and seek to better the system. That is why million of Cameroonians have to practice false loyalty to CPDM regime, Party and President Paul Biya in order to survive.

There must be an International law against what President Paul Biya is practicing against his personal enemies. It is not acceptable to fake loyalty in a nation. Patriotism is a big part of being a true citizen and it should be expressed in the rights and privileges of citizens to participate in the democratic process if at all there is any.Have a great day                 Jonathan Awasom

Dear Jonathan,

Please can you tell us how you arrived at the conclusion that Titus Edzoa is a political prisoner up to the extent of asking Cameroonians to sign a petition for his liberation? Please can you enlighten us about the principal charge against him? What makes him a political prisoner different from other embezzlers of public funds? Tell us also about how you arrived at your logic strongly defending somebody charged of embezzlement and sentenced to serve a 15 year jail term.Has he contacted you to reframe and reverse the principal charge on which he was arraigned, judged and sentenced? Please we kindly wait for your answers.

Fellow  Concern Citizens of the CFR   A Cry  for Freedom from Tyranny and Dictatorship

We , are Cameroonians based in the Diaspora and USA seeking the FREEDOM of Cameroon. Our desire is to EXPORT AMERICA'S FREEDOM  to our shores.

Today I spoke with US FBI officials against the total and shocki
We want to work together with the Council on Foreign Relations in order to accomplish our mission. We are very intentional about this effort and pray that you give this your undivided attention as as well as your enthusiasm and commitment.

Every moment in history has its own kind of leaders who ingnite strategies and a revolution to  change the cause of histoy for human dignity.

They have the propensity to speak, write, call upon you as well as urge you but  also be aware of voices of discord, distraction and betrayal. We must caution  you because it is our moral  and spiritual responsibility to keep the flock intact and safe.

You have  made a choice or may be should make your choice today and always about who to listen to and follow as partners and friends. Too many voices could slow down our pace for a safer America and peaceful world  but a voice that is stubbornly consistent, persistent, disciplined and focused cannot be mistaken from  cunning voices like the fox that feigns affection around your chicken.

Will you listen to the voice of President Paul Biya, CPDM regime and those they have bribed to disturb us or you will listen to the voice of  the ones you know are on your side, by your side, with you and for you?
The answer is obvious. We know you and you know us because we are with you always till we win. The Voices of the Founding Fathers spoke to us and have heard it loud and clear.

We cannot do this all by ourselves. Our job is to listen , research, write, inspire, educate so as to empower, moblize and organize ourselves to win. Listen to the wisdom of people who want us to win so bad.
A beloved American Patriot, Scott Thorpe writes in his book " The Revolutionary Strategies of the Founding Fathers: Leadership Lessons from America's Most Successful Patriots" that:

" President George Washington was not a timid conservative General. He fought with great audacity when he was needed to do so.But he was as pragmatic as he was bold.He judiciously selected the strategies that would win, regardless of whether they were bold, popular, or cautious. It takes a great leader to select the tough strategy that will succeed. Many would rather go down in a blaze of glory than retrench their expectations. But winning is still winning, even if it takes longer. And losing is always losing,no matter how valiant the effort"
Oncemore , thank you all for your patience, encouragement and support. We are driven to success. It has always happened even before we were born. No amount of sponsored distraction from those who resist change will scare us or slow us down. We are winners. This is the dictum that is charting our course together.

All the glory of our collective action should be grounded in the Freedom and Justice for those in captivity. We are well positioned in history because our cause is founded upon the heritage of free people.

There is absolutely nothing to fear or to be concerned about so long as the spirits of the founders is cheering us -up, move on our fellow patriots, we are behind you, keep going, victory is ahead of those who never look back while  ploughing  through the fields of injustice.

Our moment has come and we must win this time around to complement the valiant efforts of our heroes and heroines in blessed memory.

The great news is you can now download the above 7 and 8 demands now  and forward them to humanity. Let the world know we are talking and walking the talk. Action is key to success. Victory is possible only when concientious people are determined, disciplined, focused and proactive.

So, play your own role as a building block would do to erect a house  in order to give traction to this concerted effort. We have laid a solid foundation already. Now be that block one by one ,which will raise the walls of this house we are building. These officials with power will put the roof  to shelter us from the stormy bliss of dictatorship and tyranny if they see us busy like aunts building walls with cries of protest.

1) Senator John Kerry, Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee of USA
2) The Secretary General of the UNO
3) The Speaker of the House of Representatives
4) The European Union
5)  All Human Rights Organisations that you are acquainted with
6) All Missionary Churches and Religious Leaders involved in Cameroon
7) The State Department and various Ambassadors to Cameroon from countries you are resident
8) All Our Traditional Leaders and Officials in Cameroon
9) All Religious Leaders in Cameroon
10) All members of concerned opposition Parties and Civil Society in Cameroon

There is no such thing as impossible in our vocabulary. The words we have captured and fell in love with is possibilities and victory. We are victors and conquerors of the forces of good and change that are shaping the moment.

This is one of the most plausible arguments and cases we have ever thought of beyond the stretch of our imaginations, which encapsulates the overall  problems of Cameroon.

This is what could catapult our very patriotic and humble endeavors to victory. We must feed our people hungry for freedom and justice with knowledge of truth and practice of dignity.

We have set a very powerful/ compelling case before humanity, which should propel us to a very convenient  place within the community of free and civilized nations, and people. Do not be left behind  this train.

Our strategy was to summarize all what we have been saying into 7 and 8 demands knowing that each of them should spark a debate and dialogue among ourselves and beyond.

Every sentence and  word is loaded with a call to action. This is our moment to seek justice and redeem our fellow human beings held in bondage.

The voice of the people crying for salvation under the shackles of dictatorship and corrupt tyranny fell on our ears like thunder and lightening. Guess what,  it has sparked a rare campaign, movement and revolution that is making some people dumbfounded but we must keep going.

We had walked out of our silence  without fear or favor with hearts fulled of grace and compassion to ignite the fire of freedom and change.

Today, we must resolve that the voices of the common men and women may appear to be  echoing through the cracks of a fallen world but the ears of those who walk the hallways of power will never be at peace unless they stop our voices nosing around them like bees. Yes, we may be like bees but we have power  to disturb their so called " Peace"  without Justice.
The only way for this to happen is  for freedom and justice to reign over oppression and injustice. In this regards, my fellow human beings you are a very significant team member of this historic moment to unravel the myth of failure enhanced by pessimists.

Today, if the Founders of the United States of Free people were present physically, they would laugh at those who drag their feet behind the changing times. They did not look back.
They did not listen to pessimists. They believed in themselves and had faith in God. The mountains of dictatorship and tyranny crumbled when their voices were trembled, though, soared  with prayers and found favor with God whose Spirit unleashed victory hitherto.

My Fellow Cameroonians we must win this time and it means choose the right voices and take action

CHILDREN OF OPPRESSORS, DICTATORS AND TYRANTS NEVER GET IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OPPRESSED

Children of Oppressors, dictators and tyrants never get it because they have never been oppressed

The theory of relativity works in the case of Libya and Cameroon. Every person speaks from their relative or vantage point of view and are entitled to make their case  as forcefully as they can!Yet, the truth will never be buried especially when it is the truth , nothing but the whole truth. Most writers and reporters around the world like to cast shadows of doubt on any Western led action in Africa but hardly do not really give consideration to us African people who are fighting for freedom and democracy as a result of the bad behavior of exponents of sovereignty.I fight from a relative standpoint but most importantly, everytrhing boils down to the facts and truth. Did you use your public office to oppress anyone? Did you use your position of power to violate the human dignity of anyone even though simulataneously you built hospitals, schools and developed a good road system?

Only people who are oppressed and have suffered injustice know where the shoe of oppression and injustice  pinches. Of course, there are thousands of Cameroonians and Africans around the world who have never  experienced any human rights violation or dealt with persecution and retaliation for their first amendment rights. They were born with either silver spoons or golden spoons in their mouths back in the continent. After Grammar School and even High School, their parents flew them  to overseas universities and colleges. Their parents paid their full tuition, bought them a house as well as a car with ill-gotten wealth. While all these is taking place, millions of Cameroonians are deprived and dehumanized by unscrupolous and greedy "political animals".

These  Cameroonians and Africans who have no experience of injustice, arrest and violations of their sacred and inalienable rights look at things from their subjective standpoint. They rant like parrots because they have no knowledge and understanding of what is at stake with corrupt tyranny and dictatorship on our people. For the rest of us who have a just cause, we stand  together with an undivided attention to continue with the rallying cry for justice to prevail where there is  injustice, for freedom to reign where there is oppression and for life to prevail where there is murder, killings and massacre of unarmed civilians like the case in Cameroon in 2008.

The libyan rebels like the rebels of the French revolution of 1789 and the American revolution of 1776 have given us every reason to hope. Our hope is to see the dawn of a new era in our societies where the bell  freedom and democracy will ring and bring the echoes of peace and prosperity to the lives of our people. There is no room for dictators and tyrants again. We will fight till the end because we have equally lived with such bad people with no end in sight. We must dream of a new and better Africa that will be championed by the forces of our common humanity under the armpit of the universal principles of human dignity.

There is absolutely no excuse for any man or woman to dehumanize others. If any leader does not have a good heart  for their fellow human beings, then they should not have accepted a position of power to begin with. In fact, to take a position of leadership is a political contract between the governors and governed, which must be binding and once it is broken, change is expected to happen beneath any form of resistance. That is why we have opted for good governance and the rule of law informed by transparency and accountability in public service.

It is no surprise to me that the supporters and benefaciaries of injustice, corruption borne out of tyranny and dictatorship will be rallying together to project their own twisted notion about truth. I, Jonathan Awasom who has suffered under a tyranny and dictatorship and know  millions of my fellow Cameroonians who going through the same pain and suffering as I speak, will never agree with any African who had their bread buttered by the systems of oppression in Africa, Cameroon being  no exception.

It is no wonder that they are indeed exceedingly sumpathetic to people like President Paul Biya and  President Ghadaffi. They hide behind the so called Pan-Africanism and OAU to question the onslaught of NATO! If NATO is a bad idea so, too is corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. Which one should I embrace in my situation of powerless under tyranny and dictatorship? I ask an honest question and I want an answer or answers? If my own government  is against me/us then I am really not worthy of my society and where should I go? Do you know how many Cameroonians are trapped like bees in a bottle by Cameroon political animals? So, to have left my country Cameroon to seek asylum overseas is a good thing? No, it is not.

The truth is when we cry out at the top of our voices in our countries, all dictators usually respond with a heavy and brutal crack down! Most people have perished without their voices or stories told because they lack the means compared to the dictators who possess almost every means necessary to blindfold the world that they are good afterall. Yes, it is understandable and common place  for the supporters of brutal dictators to quickly paint a glamorous picture of their Masters in order to derail the debate about their merits and demerits. What I am saying is every dictator can make a very compelling claim about their good deeds. This happened lately when the brutal CPDM regime of Cameroon paid one of the mainstream media within the United States to carry out ads about their good deeds. In fact, it read as follows;

" Cameroon is a model of peace and stability in West Africa..."

I mean I was literarily very frustrated because I did not have the resources to counter their drunken allegations. This was indeed a brainwashing , which was precipitated because of the unprecedented awareness about corruption, human rights violation and crimes against humanity  I had raised against the CPDM regime since 2009. Now, look at this case. I lack the kind of resources and means the CPDM govern have to make my case.

Although I do my  utmost best for His Highest, still, through  negative propaganda most dictators and tyrannts in Africa have succeeded to manipulate the world. However, this was only in the past, which explains why the supporters of President Paul Biya living within the United States have a unique vocation/mission to stop me at all cost. They are heavily paid by the regime who have employed all sorts of corrupt and divisive means to dismantle any coalition that could cause the downfall of the system. In spite of all these one has been resilient.

If Libya was one of the riches oil countries, well, it is logical that the people and Africa should benefit from it to a certain extent. But is that why he should be President for life and to eventually hand over to his sons? Good leaders do not stay in power for too long. They are always anxious to serve a limited term and to retire. How some Africans cling to power is a myth that is being unraveled today. So, why was Ghadaffi trying to hide behind the notion of sovereignty to avoid the important question of the day?

Mubarak of egypt  heeded to the global outcry and stepped down
Ali of Tunisha did same and apparently escaped. But others chose to hang on to fight back even when they know it would be unacceptable. Here we have a man who has stayed in power for 42 years and who during the 42 years he has killed many innocent people just to keep the statusquo. Now, the libyan people decided that it was time for him to go .He should have listened if he loved libya and the people.

Is the presidency of any country someone'e private property?
Is a country own by one family ?Those who make these arguments about a certain truth must also know that those of us who have suffered under dictators and also know families who have suffered and their voices drown will never condone with injustice and evil.If a dictator proves himself  a very brutal one ,which is measured by his ruthless resistance, well, what other alternative is left? Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.Ghadaffi like Mubarak was asked to step down for the sake of the people if Libya but he refused. Why did he refused?

He refused because he was looking down on the few libyans who have been crying for freedom and demoacracy. This is the samething that has been happening to Jonathan Awasom. We have asked President Paul Biya to step down! He and his CPDM regime are acting like they are not hearing our appeal for him to go away! Very soon when he will be attacked by soldiers of freedom, his supporters all over the world will start manipulating the place with their own concept of truth.

The only truth in this case is the oppressed and victims of dictators and as a victim, I relate with the libyan people who badly wanted Ghadaffi out and by the same token and spirit we want President Paul Biya of Cameroon to leave. No matter how much good anysingle human being can perform in this world, it is never a license to commit crimes or violate the human rights of others.

We are all born to enjoy life and anyone who stands in the way of their fellow human beings must be on the wrongside of history. Those who helped to plant dictators and tyrants on our soil must also uproot them. This is pure and simple , and any dictator who is serving at the pleasure of their foreign masters must reconsider their behavior. As for us, Cameroonians we do not want Paul Biya again. Enough is enough and to read more about this call for Paul Biya to step down, please, download the 2010 memo on this site because if you ask me to choose between NATO and the dictatorship and tyranny of Paul Biya, i will choose NATO. Injustice against our people must be condemned and those responsible must stop. Please, click on this site and download the memo calling on Paul Biya of Cameroon to step  down.

STUDENTS OF MACHIAVELLI OR JEAN JACQUE ROUSSEAU?

Students of Niccolo Machiavelli or Jean Jacque Rousseau?

Can you imagine a world without the United States of America?

I believe that the Cameroon People Democratic Movement ( CPDM) officials have spent a great deal of their time in power to study the works of Machiavelli especially his portrayal of the Prince as cynical and wicked. If you know Iago of William Shakespeare’s Othello then you might have a perfect character portrait of who a Prince is.That is why I came up with the Democratic Federal Union  for Cameroonians  in order  for us to seek a more perfect union than the imperfect union we have endured in the last 50 years.

Just as Iago was bent to see about the downfall of Othello as a General, so too is the Prince bent to see into it that all his enemies and opponents are destroyed in anyway so long as that will make him retain political power and avoid being held accountable. One of the most cynical ways to mislead the world is by creating this façade of democracy under a political party, which they call CPDM.

I want to discuss this to enable us identify some of the root causes of the abuse of power by the CPDM Party as perfect students of Machiavelli. This will be in contrast with what would have likely happened if they were rather students of Jean Jacque Rousseau or the Founding Fathers of America. I wish they had taken only a moment to explore the works and life of Statesmen around the world who were instrumental in building their nations.

These ordinary people never necessarily became extra-ordinary because of political power. What made them famous is their extra-ordinary leadership marked by the fact that they did not change the Constitution. They fought hard for political leadership in order to use that platform to change their countries and the world. They knew exactly when to exit power following the Constitution because they were answerable to it. They knew they were imperfect servants of the State and people and embrace political leadership as a noble calling.

Therefore, it is incongruous that today some human beings would encourage people to rely on    people like Machiavelli to rule others these days. Why don’t they draw inspiration from the 17th century leaders of the free world who distinguished themselves from rulers through a system of government, which was decentralized and accountable to the people? Can you for a while imagine a world without the United States ? Then why don’t we copy their good examples to help build and foster a free and prosperous society in our backyards? A free Cameroonian within the free world must learn how to be smarter than the Prince (Ruler of the CPDM State ) or continue to face his unpleasant music of dictatorship and tyranny. We must always put on the jacket of freedom and remember the United States of America is in this world for a reason.

So who was Niccolo Machiavelli?

Niccolo Machiavelli who was famous with his celebrated work “The Prince” was an Italian Aristocrat who lived from 1469-1527 in the City of Florence . He had a bad reputation for being insidious with his take on the character of rulers known as Prince. He painted a true and realistic picture of what was happening as opposed to what ought to. He observed that men by nature were either avaricious or miserly; a giver or rapacious; one cruel, another merciful, one treacherous, another faithful, one effeminate and cowardly, another bold and courageous, one humane, another haughty, one trustworthy, another cunning, one harsh, another lenient, one serious, another frivolous, one religious, another unbelieving etc. Then he argued that it was impossible to find a Prince who embodies all the good qualities because of human nature. According to him it was up to the Prince to be prudent enough to escape or avoid the human vices, which led to his bad reputation.

He was very conflicted about the method and procedure of the Prince (ruler) in dealing with those subordinate to him and keeping power according to human nature. That is to say he advised his Prince to do whatever within their means to keep power even if it meant to do immoral things like torture, murder and killing of those he believed were a threat to his lust for power. Since he was cynical, he supported questionable means that will make someone become a Prince forever. In other words, “To remain in power the Prince must learn how not to be good”. However, he was criticized for perpetuating the vices of the Prince that led to the abuse of power and human suffering.

Application of Machiavellian’s doctrine of abuse of power by the Prince of the African Dictators

The Italian mafia was inspired by Machiavellian’s duplicity with power. This mafia translates into the French-Francophone dictatorship and tyranny in Cameroon spearheaded by the CPDM Party. They have been out to do whatever it takes to keep political power. They have no regards for the welfare of the civil society because it is not their preoccupation. The flagrant violation of the human rights of Cameroonians especially minority Anglophones is a living testimony to the determination of the CPDM Party to crush Anglophone power, spirit of resiliency and sense of belonging to their own society. In order to remain in power the Prince (President Paul Biya and his government) has definitely learned not to be good at all.

When you hear that University Chancellors have issued threats against Student strikes, that is a mark of betrayal of democratic principles. Instead of educating the masses with the appropriate methods of free and peaceful expressions they resort to repressive measures because they do not care about the civil society. If they had a vision for nation building they would recognize the civil society and educate them about how to express their grievances against the State.

We are a society of tribes and thanks to colonialism, which only attempted to help us find commongrounds through modern forms of government and governance. If the CPDM thinks that it is normal to continue lying to the ordinary Cameroonians that Colonialism was evil why is it that ever since they gained independence they are still holding onto power? At what point do they realize that all people who were born Cameroonians are entitled to know how they govern the country? If we cannot hold the government accountable then why are we a country?

All the societies, from which colonial masters came from have evolved tremendously and moved on. They are not perfect but there is enormous evidence, which shows that the people do hold their leaders accountable. We have all turned to these societies to seek solace, security and prosperity because we have lost faith in our own societies! How does anyone blame innocent people for being part of the civil society? If government does not function in ways that meet the needs of the people then such a government ought not to prevail. Government (The President and his Cabinet, Parliament) is supposed to be the product of the civil society in order to be accountable to them.

Majority of government officials studied in France and also in North America and I am wondering if they did not learn anything from France , Britain , Germany , Canada and United States ? As for me, KI am writing and seeking a peaceful political transition through a transitional government because I have learned about better forms of government within the United States . Consequently, the Cameroon government does not agree with the Social Contract, which was one of the major works of Jean Jacques Rousseau during the 18th century enlightenment (an age of commonsense and reason).

So who was Jean Jacque Rousseau?

The Social Contract was about his political philosophy and he would not agree with Machiavelli. He wrote about the origin of the civil society and focused on the way people who belong to body politics of the State established relationship with one another in order to secure social cohesion and justice for all. Gerard Hopkins who translated the Social Contract said;

“By emphasizing the fact that each member of a society forfeits a certain amount of personal freedom for the greater good of the whole, and by emphasizing that the sovereign has immense responsibilities to the people, Rousseau conceived the structure of government in a novel way. Today we think of that way as democratic, since Rousseau constantly talks about certain types of equality, which he expects to be found in a well-ordered society. Equality before the law is probably the most important element of that society. Equality before the law, a concept we approve today, was a very revolutionary view for 1762”.

No wonder the French Revolution of 1789 was inevitable because Scholars like Jean Jacque Rousseau inspired the civil society to be conscious of the abuse of power and the injustices of the State and French Aristocrats who lived in opulence while the masses were subjected to poverty. The excessive materialism of the King and Queen of France became clear to the French people through Rousseau that not all French people were equal before the law. Consequently when it dawn on people that others were not more entitled to the State and State property than the rest under misery, they stood up

WHAT IS THE DEMOCRATIC FEDERAL UNION OF CAMEROON(DFUC)

This vision was written in July ,2009 and it has stood the test of time.

The Democratic Federal Union of Cameroonians (DFUC)

This is a moment in history when the hearts and minds of Cameroonians who care must be fused together. We are flabbergasted and overwhelmed by black-Africans colonizing their own Africans and pointing-fingers at the West; we are bamboozled by Cameroonians colonizing Cameroonians and blaming the French, Germans, British and North Americans. No.

“The Arrow of God” must point back at the CPDM regime, which is solely responsible for our plight. That is why DFUC comes to bear. This is an innovative idea to help us establish a platform on, which to forge ahead with a collective conscience. In order for people to dream in any country there must first of all be a vision to inspire a dream. The ability to dream brings opportunity and possibility for prosperity.

There is absolutely no way for all these to happen under the tyranny of President Paul Biya and CPDM regime of Cameroon. The Biya’s Code must be debunked as another hypocritical political propaganda imposed on innocent Cameroonians by ruling junta. It is not different from Rigor and moralization, which was published in 1985 whereas Mr. Paul Biya has presided over one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

DFUC stands for Political and Civil Rights Action of Cameroonians in the Diaspora and in Cameroon   against the ruling Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement (CPDM regime, CPDM, Diaspora). This is open to Cameroonian asylees, refugees, DVD lottery winners and sympathizers of our movement to transform Cameroon from tyranny to a free and open society. We have already painted CPDM as anti-democracy, unpatriotic and intransigent because they are suffering from a conspiracy of silence and dumb. We have not had any response to our questions and concerns posted to them, yet.  We are waiting to hear from them.

Our motto: Justice and equality under law for all

Our Values: Free Speech, dialogue, public debates on issues and respect for human rights

Our Right to know: All Cameroonians are entitled to know the assets of public servants in keeping with the provision of the law

Goal: To promote the peaceful co-existence and advancement of the commongood through a transparent Federal form of government.

Our pledge of allegiance to God: All tribes and cultures are made equal under diverse people and one God. “In God, We Believe”

Our Status in the Diaspora: Surviving victims of the CPDM tyrannical regime and now moral agents (voice for the voiceless, voice of conscience, political activism, advocates, and Civil rights for all people)

Our motivation: To be nation builders under a well-crafted vision cast below.

Our time has come to make a difference and free Cameroonians. We are standing up on behalf of the downtrodden and voiceless political Science Professors within and without Cameroon. They have been forced against their will to become intellectually dishonest because of the tyrannical political system of CPDM, which they are not allowed to critique. So, what is the essence of political science within a political tyranny and dictatorship? President Paul Biya and his CPDM Party have reduced our country into a charitable organization.

This is unacceptable. How can the President and his wife become Philanthropists and Humanitarians while still in power? “Where there is no vision, the people perish" They run the country and live in opulence at the expense of the people. It is not Ok. We are sending a strong message to CPDM and President Paul Biya to step down by 2011 and be accountable to a transitional government. These are key points to consider;

1) The Constitution of Cameroon definitely falls within the spectrum of objective Principles, which centers on patriotism and should have been inspired by Patriots and should have the capacity to inculcate patriotism. Consequently President Paul Biya and his government should declare their assets by respecting Article 66 of that constitution. They have violated it for more 27 years now and it is not Ok.We say NO to that. We want full compliance with the provisions of article 66.

2) The CPDM-USA must respect the same broad Principle of free speech, which they are enjoying within the United States regardless of their abuse of other Cameroonians by the CPDM regime. They must release prisoners of conscience within Cameroon and obligatorily respect their rights to expression. These are folks who have been arbitrarily arrested and locked up illegally into squalor cells. Majority of them are members of SDF and SCNC. These are Cameroonians who do not have to agree with CPDM but that must not translate into violation of their basic human rights.

 3) CPDM-USA must account for all their political activities within the United States since there are operating as a foreign political party within a different sovereignty. What is their non-profit status about? Fund-raising and funding sources must be disclosed. We must hold CPDM within the United States accountable following the tax-exempt and non-profit ethics rules in terms of their funding sources and financial Statement.

4) We must believe now or never that the CPDM regime is not different from the former Taliban regime of Afghanistan, which tortures and murders innocent people. They have the same characteristics like Taliban accentuated by the violent human rights record against them. Therefore, they should not be embraced among free people unless they change their horrible abuse and violation of human rights of Cameroonians. Amnesty International and US State Department have denounced the human rights situation in Cameroon. Many Cameroonians have condemned it, too from their own personal tragic experience and eyewitness account. Now we must act and prevent/stop further abuse of our lives by CPDM regime. They have lost their meaning and purpose in life. We, must not fold our arms and watch at them continue to hurt our fellow innocent Cameroonians anywhere in this world.

5) We must take ownership of our country now or never.  Intensify the war against corruption by making sure that corrupt Cameroonians are punished within the United States as well as in Cameroon. We must ensure that their ill-gotten wealth is confiscated and given back to the people. Stop bogus bank Statements and accounts SOLD by corrupt Bank Managers in Cameroon to corrupt Cameroonians to enable them obtain visas to travel to US. We must stop political asylum scams and if possible change the Country for good so that it will not lead to such fake asylums. In the same spirit, advocate on behalf of Cameroonians awaiting deportation or who have lost their political asylum cases and living in the shadows.

Charting a visionary path into the heart and mind of Cameroon

"Afterwards I will pour out my spirit on everyone, your young men shall see visions and old men shall dream dreams” Joel 2:29

Our vision centers on the enduring values of Freedom, Justice, Peace and Prosperity as well as Equality under law. This vision to reclaim our country must be defined by;

  • Revision of the Constitution of Cameroon with emphasis on the Bill of Rights. Therefore, we must also impose a limited two terms for the Office of President. I suggest a one term of four years and two terms of at most 8 years. After, which the President must never run again for public Office. The amended constitution should embody the independent three arms of Government typical of the United States of America as an example par excellence.
  • We need national dialogue through a two years transitional government against, which backdrop we will move to explore the present and future of our country. We have too many problems and divisions and there is a cry for Federal form of Government in wake of our crisis.

  • We support a Federal system although we don't yet know exactly how it should look like. Ensure that there is a peaceful transfer of political power through free and fair election. So, we don't agree with ELECAM.It is a bogus Electoral Commission. We propose a pledge of allegiance to God as seen above

  • President Paul Biya and his government must declare their assets before we have another election in Cameroon.  In the meantime, DFUC is proposing a two years transitional government during , which time we, the people  will reorganize Cameroon and then swing in real democratic elections. The CPDM regime must answer to all the accusations and charges against them by DFUC and other Cameroon schools of thought. We are doing this to proof to CPDM Party that we are not on the same footing with them. They are under investigation by the people for all the crimes against humanity. This is not the appropriate time to clown or play over the intelligence of Cameroonians again. No Presidential election in 2011 until the CPDM regime tells us how they have run that country for 27 years.

  • We must recognize and explore our rich cultural and religious diversity in a deliberate effort to prevent "tribal violent conflicts"  , genocide or civil war, which is characteristic of all tyrannies and dictatorships especially within Africa. Therefore, empower Cameroonians to become nation builders through mutual respect and peaceful co-existence.

  • In this light, we see a vision for Cameroon where our leaders will serve as Public Servants and not Masters. We oppose the CPDM tricks of lifetime positions to some ministries. It is motivated by tribalism but it is unacceptable for CPDM regime to treat Cameroon like a private plantation. Enforcement of Democratic Principles includes the house of chiefs/ traditional rulers within the dynasty in order to avoid mediocrity, misrule, misgovernment and mismanagement. Enforce Social Justice Reforms in all forms and shapes. Movement: Political Revolution( new constitution to reflect federated States, separation of powers, reparation for neo-colonial enslavement , campaign for release of capital flight, Free Trade, autonomous currency, ban traditional rulers from indulging in partisan politics except they give off their positions as traditional rulers, separation of church and state, end tribalism and lawlessness and enforce stringent moral principles to curb abuse of any sort especially corruption, end the colonization of Cameroonians by Cameroonians.

  • Nation builders must capture this vision and promise for Cameroonians and their friends to live under acceptable human conditions; create an environment for possibilities and opportunities through Science and technology, Economic industrialization for job creation, education, health care and insurance, urban and rural electrification, road reconstruction and "waterfication", Urban and Rural planning and remodeling of subjugated communities, foster a diplomatic and international peaceful co-existence with other nations under the universal human principles ,which governs other nations. Cameroon must not be an exception to the decent human principles.

DFUC is a force to advance the commongood for all people that dwell in our country. We must see them as Stakeholders whether they are whites or blacks, foreigners or citizens. All of us must come together and rebuild Cameroon society to sparkle and shine like the stars and moon. This is our time and we must mend or mess. We cannot afford to waste this time and opportunity. President Paul Biya has ruled Cameroon for 27 years without regards to the law. It is not O.K. It is time for him and his party to pave the way for the birth of a new Cameroon.  Thanks sincerely
