Come to think of the immeasurable depths of human sacrifices from time to time when we dare touch the untouchables in power! The pages of human history has colorful images and stories of very resilient men and women who did not look back. They put their hands on the plough and ploughed relentlessly amid all kinds of persecutions and retaliation from "the untouchables" who had and have a firm grip on religious and political power. Their sacred causes were pre-ordained and had to manifest within the complex human setting torn between good and evil , virtue and vice, light and darkness.
It was only delayed but never denied because of the resilience and courage of a selected few. I call it the triumph of virtue when we dare touch the untouchables in the world from Cameroon under Dictator Paul Biya, across Europe where France and Great Britain are involved and and right here in North America where the Democratic Party Leadership are involved . I dare touch the "untouchables" because virtue is a powerful divine light that ignites the fire and passion of activism and advocacy for liberty. This is how the Status of liberty came into being. Hold onto virtue when you are touching the "untouchables"
This is what Dietritch Bonhoeffer did against Adolf Hitler , Jesus Christ against the Pharasees and Scribes, Nelson Mandela against Pieta Bota,Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr against White Supremacy and Racial Segregationist, Mother Theresa against the powerrful rich, President Abraham Lincoln against anti-slave abolition, President Thomas Jefferson and other founders of America against the King of England,Eleanor Roosevelt against women 's rights violation in America and the world, Rosa Parks against the law legalizing segregation on the metro-Bus system in America and the ordinary women in Africa who cry everyday against corrupt tyranny and dictatorship on the streets of Africa.
I have persistently and consistently done so for 11 years now. It is the right thing to do and perhaps the only way that the world has ever changed for the greatest good because the principal force of virtue is speaking truth to power without fear and trembling. The reason is simple to get people very agitative and angry with the hope that they can eschew their vices. Why is it important to promulgate virtue and freedom?
There is an ever growing need for us to build everlasting bridges across the global village so as to connect and enhance meaningful relationships from one nation, society and community to the other.By the same token, breaking down political and diplomatic bridges that were a figment of human imagination and selfish desires. The only mistake that humankind has made over the last century was claiming a celebration of their common humanity without loving the human race. Even in all what seemed gloomy, there was and is still plenty of room to have hope and faith in humanity because there is always light at the end of every tunnel. The time for the darkness of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship to end has come.
I am always reminded about my origin and heritage as a descendant of the sons and daughters of God almighty , the same God who has brought us this far through all the rumbles and tumbles of life. As I struggle with you for a virtuous and free society in Cameroon, Africa I feel strongly that we must continue to identify ourselves and seek commongrounds in a bid to foster the beloved human community. Yes, I have touched some untouchables and it is totally understandable those who have power always expect everybody to submit to their authority but if this has to happen all the time, then we are doomed to a life of mediocrity.
We have all come a long ways dating as far back as when we were still disregarded because of our uniqueness and origin. What has kept us so determined is an inner human spirit that overshadows the empty quest for popularity and fame. A virtuous man and woman is one who stands on principles and speak with clarity and conviction without fear or favor of statusquo and represenstatives of statusquo. Freedom is a virtue and has always been a mirror held in front of the vice of the statusquo of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship.Yes, I know of some virtuous men and women through out history who stood up to those who preached virtue and practiced vice.
This world is changing because virtue has always triumphed over vice no matter how long it takes.
I have never lost faith in humanity in spite of the injustices I have faced in the struggle for justice. Truth is a prerequisite for justice and liberty. My vision is for a virtuous and free society. Here is a catalogue of wikitruths. I speak truth to powers as the most effective tool for change since I was blessed with this exra-ordinary gift.Yes, I have infleunced world leaders and millions of lives changed already with wikitruths. Truth is the greatest force for good

THE CASE FOR JUSTICE : PEACE, PEACE AND YET THERE IS NO PEACE!
Dear Cameroonians and Concerned Citizens of the World
Greetings. Before I proceed with the case for Justice, I will appreciate if we first of all explore these statements from 6 different versions of the Holy Bible. I happen to be a believer. So, if you are not one, don't take any offense as I am only very enthusiastic about building my case for Justice from my Christian standpoint granted that there is quite a crowd of people who are followers of Jesus Christ out there, anyways. However, if anyone holds a different view about this, you are more than welcome to express them.
For those who admire my deep passion for justice, this will give some them some clues as to why I am very determined for the Tree and Body of Justice. To everyone is due Justice so long as we are born into this world and entitled to live. This should serve as a mirror for policy makers because charity does not go too far to help people trapped under primitive systems of government. Charity is a virtue no doubt but it is very meaningful when it is cultivated in a virtuous and free society where there is transparency and accountability.
New International Version (©1984)
They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. 'Peace, peace,' they say, when there is no peace.

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995)
They treat my people's wounds as though they were not serious, saying, 'Everything is alright! Everything is alright!' But it's not alright.
They treat my people's wounds as though they were not serious, saying, 'Everything is alright! Everything is alright!' But it's not alright.
King James Bible
They have healed also the hurt [of the daughter] of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace.
They have healed also the hurt [of the daughter] of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace.
Cameroonians like most people oppressed are neither different from the Israelites who were trapped in Egypt under bondage nor the United States of America that was marginalized and oppressed by the King of England in the 17th century. My case for a free and virtuous Cameroon society in the 21st century has one of the most profound merits ever before people who will choose to reason like King Solomon. I am right here in America as a Cameroonian dissident and stand corrected before humanity by the voluminous case I have made for justice, liberty, freedom, human rights and civil rights against the backdrop of the Universal principles of human dignity by calling on all us to be involved to free ourselves from the cave of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship.
The problem is the Cameroon government is not only bad but it is an extremely corrupt government that has created a cosmetic anti-corrupt commission, which has no independent power to prosecute the number one corrupt Cameroonian, Dictator Paul Biya. Everything is a joke in Cameroon under the dictatorship of Mr Paul Biya and his seasoned corrupt Ministers he recycles since he was made President of Cameroon.
You must understand why a country like Cameroon is a corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. It simply means regardless whether there are laws or rules, the band of corrupt men and women do whatever they like and simultaneously will destroy anyone who dare questions them by the use of brutal force and other retaliatory measures that result in gross violation of human rights. A very gruesome image of human rights violation in Cameroon has been well established and we expect that these individuals in Cameroon be held accountable.
This must be the responsibility of us Cameroonians, Africans and stakeholders present in Cameroon with vested interests. An interest in a country does not have to end up with a system of government powered by wicked men and women that cannot be tolerated in France, Britain, Germany and United States of America. If none of them can cope with that kind of weird government as it was practiced in the 17th century, then they should reason with us now. Why?
A good government like most Western governments is one that is transparent and accountable to the people but when it fails to rise up to the acceptable standards that define governments in other virtuous and free societies, we must synchronize with President Thomas Jefferson that such a government MUST be altered, abolished and changed immediately.
Most importantly because our people are dying every day because of lack of a good health care system, poor drinking water system, bad roads that pose a risk to public safety, corrupt police officers who collect bribes from public transporters allowing them to overload transportation vehicles, no jobs, no incentives to encourage small businesses, extremely high and corrupt taxes ,corrupt tax collectors, lack of sustainable development iniatives that could empower local farmers and provide a source of income for their families, corrupt trade embargoes at the port ,which stand in the way of trading between nations, bribery and corruption into professional schools, bribery and corruption in processing of public dossiers( documents) and corrupt judicial system that has no regards for the downtrodden.
There has been countless tragic stories told about Cameroon over the years and I believe the world has read and understood. Cameroon has often been notorious as one of the most corrupt countries in the world around 1995 by Transparency International, a German based Non-governmental Organization, which prompted the cosmetic anti-corruption commission five years after the same government lashed out at Transparency International for intruding into the internal affairs of Cameroon government. In 2006, US Ambassador to Cameroon joined the fight against corruption and described the Anti-Corruption Commission as a government “Cosmetic" campaign against corruption.
The truth is up till date, the sole perpetrators of this endemic corruption in Cameroon have not declared their assets according to article 66 of our country's constitution. How can the anti-Corruption commission ever fight corruption in Cameroon when it has no power to enforce article 66 calling on Dictator Paul Biya and his government as well as public officials to declare their assets? They have never ever declared their assets and yet this is one of the laws of our country being openly violated and has been the sole cause of all the violation of human rights.
Worst still the people are even brainwashed to accept their situation due to the cruel rule of Pharaoh. By constantly pressing on this case to remove Paul Biya, we want the world to know that we are not uninformed. We are too enlightened and have come to believe that no normal human being ought to be subjected under such a very cruel system regime in Cameroon in this century.
For 11 years now called upon Missionaries through the various Church leaders involved in Missionary work in Cameroon, which included but not limited to Presbyterian Church ,USA , Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis as well as government officials to join us in the struggle to change Cameroon so that it will be a better place for all people.
We cannot bring down corrupt tyranny and dictatorship to the extent, which also hold dictator Paul Biya and his corrupt Ministers accountable per the country's constitution and international laws all by ourselves without imploring God almighty, the immortal, invisible and only invincible being. It is child's play to expect this to be achieved only by ourselves.
The Israelites had to come to terms with the fact that only God was their invaluable ally and companion in the struggle to be freed from bondage. So, too was the Joseph who depended solely on divine providence. Ask for David who had to face Goliath. It was David and the divine army of God who unleashed millions of angels and knocked down Goliath. We must win this war in the spiritual realm first.
Once that happens, nobody will stop the walls of apartheid, Berlin Wall, Segregation walls , slavery walls as well as the walls of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship operated by dictator Paul Biya and his corrupt/bad government in Cameroon against our people. We want the worldwide world to know that we are sick and tired of living with such ungrateful men and women in our society, Cameroon who for more than 30 years have never respected and valued the universal principles of human dignity. Peace can only reign where Justice is.
Those who are pleading only for peace without justice are only far too removed from the truth about life. This cause is for Justice. All over the world, the human family best understands what the virtue of justice means as everyone is due their own share of justice in order to live in peace and harmony
I stand corrected by my incessant quest for Justice 2006 by calling on the world to support our vision for change in Cameroon and the above case I have made should spur up action within the institutions and organizations that seek good governance and rule of law through transparency, and accountability. This will boost the effort of the civil society.
We can talk and preach peace in any form, shape or manner but peace does not exist and will never prevail where there is injustice under a lawless government like CPDM government of Cameroon.
If peace was that cheap, then there will be no causes for justice with the struggle for human rights, civil rights, liberty, freedom , democracy and equality under law anywhere in the world.
If peace was that cheap then there would have been no struggle against apartheid, racial segregation, slavery and corrupt tyranny by the King of Britain. Again let those who cry peace, peace and yet there is no peace start to practice peace within themselves by addressing the issues that we are addressing.
We have a country's constitution that is being violated every single day and it is only too strange that any individual supporting the corrupt tyranny and dictatorship of Cameroon would come to a platform where we are making a case for systematic change and begin to sue and cry for peace where there is no justice.
We must respect the laws we have now and to the best of my knowledge, if any government has no respect for the law, then why should innocent people be fooled to form a nation of citizenship?
Would it not be worthwhile that we all come out of the cave of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship into the light of liberty, life and pursuit of happiness where there is freedom, democracy and human rights to reflect what the founders conceived and implemented?

TRUTH COMMISSIONS: THE POLITICS OF FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILIATION IN AFRICA
In this trilateral dialogue in 2009 , Jonathan Awasom engaged James Ashu and Victor Katte on the question of healing the nation through forgiveness and reconciliation under the canopy of the famous truth commissions seen as one of the most effective ways to move a country and people forward beyond conflict, and anger. This is a reminder that since 2009, I have been very consistent about the formation of a transitional government in Cameroon so that the Cameroon truth commission will be factored into the transition as a driving force to help navigate the process without anger or revenge granted that perpetrators of crimes against humanity, violation of human rights and corruption cling unto power by any means necessary because they are afraid of being held accountable.
It is important that Mr Paul Biya and his government pave the way for my generation to handle this process with reason and commonsense. I know Cameroonians are bent on seeing Paul Biya leave and he should not try to manipulate us again or rely on the use of force because we are not ready for civil war or any form of violence that will undermine the rights of innocent children; boys, girls and most importantly women and nursing mothers. Since every member of the CPDM government is married with children including Mr Paul Biya himself, they must consider this period in history a turning point where neither feminism nor masculinism will overshadow our global call for the human and civil rights of all people to be respected and protected regardless of gender, creed, origin , race and class. Take a moment and explore this debate. Thank you always.

Forgiveness is a foregone conclusion in this case. Who are we forgiving? How? Why? When? What? etc. I think all options are opened. I think I have been driven a lot of times about this concept of forgiveness beginning from the time I introduced Cameroon Integration, Reconciliation and Unification Coalition( CIRUC). As you may know, the truth and reconciliation commission in South Africa enable people to confess their misdeeds but were not sentenced to jail.
This same commission was reintroduced in Liberia and the commissioners were sponsored from here in Minnesota. I worry that all these was happening only after war and destruction. It does not look like we have any control over the attitude and behavior of people with power and in power because if we did we would solve these problems right away.I want you to know that I am not the first Cameroonians seeking a peaceful political transitional to enable accountability and reconciliation. I have never known of a people who are so docile and peaceful but I have never also known of any government, which would prey on such peace loving people like Cameroonians.
Even if the people are sometimes too nice to be true, what we are saying is sympathy be directed to the powerless and downtrodden, and not to those who abuse power without impunity. While I agree under a very difficult moral circumstance that the oppressor, too need to be free, this argument is only a non-violent means to tickle the minds of the oppressor to cooperate with their own liberation from evil. It was the driving force behind the Civil Rights Movement led by Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
A Transitional Government, which I am seeking has the hallmarks of National Reconciliation rooted in recognition of the rights of all people to be free. However, that will be examined in the light of cultural differences, the fact is CPDM has violated the Constitution and it is time for arrogance to take a back sit as far as our common humanity is concerned. We are not made to be slaves to other human beings. It is always wrong and unacceptable. Death people do not bite but they live behind memories and generations of people. I wonder how we can downplay on this?
Do we want to live this world and be a blessing or a curse to posterity and the families we live behind? If people are condemning colonization and slavery, I think all of us must not embrace systems, which continue to perpetuate the enslavement and dehumanization of others. Most European countries have worked very hard to improve, rebuild and restructure their systems in ways that they are protecting the basic human rights of all persons. The French system fell, Berlin Wall fell, the British empire also fell, Nazism fell apart, racial segregation in America was outlaw, apartheid never could stop the South African people from being free etc. For how long will CPDM continue to manipulate us?
Nobody has ever gained from evil in this life. I know this for sure . My concern is that some people are sympathizing with injustice and oppression. They chose to behave in that fashion and we must consider the situation of their victims at all times. Look at a statement like this one by FOY HUBERT. I don't know what he was talking about.
"The government have to commit to provide their security, guarantee and promote their political and economic rights. This suggest that it is doable. In the context of Cameroon, one political tool would be granting Amnesty for some years and putting in place some concrete economic measures to ensure the wellbeing and security of President Biya's family while out of office and others whole have earnestly serve Cameroon for decades but might have questionable records due to the cap they were forced to put on under the regime. Then put these experts to work to educate young Cameroonians and other Africans by sharing their wonderful experiences as leaders. It might be hard, but it cannot be completely ruled out that ex-policians like to share their wealth of knowledge while in retirement, especially with NGO. It is surprise to hear what some will say about the regime and brilliant ideas that often come out to improve policy decisions" Foy Hubert
In his statement, I have not found any single reference to the victims..He is advocating for policies of vindication for them and nothing is proposed for all the victims and their families under these men and women. I think that it is pure selfishness and it continues to make one very concerned about where they are coming from.
I don't think that it is fair for Paul Biya and CPDM to hang unto power simply because they are afraid of what might happen if they were not there. They have not expressed such fears because if that is their problem then I think Cameroonians have an easy answer.
They should be open to all possibilities and think about the long term consequences of their actions on the nation and posterity.

Hello Rev. Awasom,
I do not disagree with you in the facts of our history. The problems we all face are the same. You and I only seem to disagree about possible solutions. Reverend, I am trying to think about what people did to forgive each other in similar or even worse situations. Well as a layman, I think of forgiveness of one another. I therefore expect a man of God like you to support my approach. What about that? All of us are victims. Happy Saturday.

"He even stood the risk of losing his own life if he did not do what was required" JTA
Professor
Your rationale is very very very troubling.
To be honest with you I am shocked but that is you.
That comment of yours is very immoral from every standpoint in this life. Could he not stage an escape? Please, please, please, please, Professor, what are you talking about?
Western Leaders are heroes or become richer when they fall from grace or leave power because they are hailed for defending their Nations and people. Patriotism is utmost for any Statesmen and women to be valued by their citizens. Can you explain to me why you expect us to glorify people who are a enemies of their own people? Instead of the President and his government protecting the citizens like a mother hen would protect her chickens, they torture, kill and murder at random.
JTA, you are far from the truth . The statistics and facts are not the same. Please, I pray that you reframe your argument again and look at the truth especially during this season of advent when the prince of truth, justice and peace comes like an innocent baby.It is good enough you know that some of them prefer to stay in power than leave and be haunted for their evil deeds against innocent people. Even if they stay there ,history will not forget their wickedness, malice, inhumanity and evil like Stalin , Hitler and Saddam Hussein.
Break the evil cycle? You are asking the people who are oppressed and hurt by evil people to break the evil cycle? What did they do to contribute to the evil and vicious cycle?
Oh Jesus Christ of Nazareth, please come down and pour your spirit on Prof JTA.The only way to break the evil cycle is for them to repent and do the things we have asked of them. Paul Biya and his government are corrupt and have never declared their assets according to the Constitution.Let them comply , resign and hand over most of what has been stolen to the State . Then we will go from there.
It is indeed worrisome that you would call for pardon for the sake of pardon for crimes inflicted upon humanity. Do you ever think of the families and people who are hurt? Why is it that too often some people sympathize with wicked and evil people than with their victims? Oh God, why has thou fosaken us?
Prof James , your said Ahidjo was working toward reconciliation? Then what happened that he wanted to come back when he was ousted from power? Let us not pay too much attention as to whether it was right or wrong! But if he was sorry for his misdeeds, he would peacefully retire and make his apologies and move on. His abortive coup d'etat was exploited by Paul Biya to cajole Cameroonians. Afterwards, he has turned against us!
Never mind. They come and go and generations of people continue to live. Now the Northerners were murdered mercilessly by Paul Biya in retaliation. Whose knows what is awaiting the Betis in revenge? That is why Semengue and Owona are Ministers for life .
Take Care JTA . I just don't agree with your views. They are very strange.

HelloVic,
We are now beginning to reason together. First, as you implicitly admit, Ahidjo was just doing the job the French recruited him to do. You would also admit that there were a lot of other Cameroonians eager to take his place if he did not measure up. He even stood the risk of losing his own life if he did not do what was required.
No, Vic, it is not a question of lionizing our past leaders. We cannot lionize them. They were already either lions or goats during stay in power. Only history will proclaim that. Our generation cannot do it. It is rather a question of debasing and abusing the legacies of our former leaders, as mean of settling old scores. We even chase those who are alive around the world and put them on trial for mistakes they made while leading. It is not good. I remember an interview given late President Siaka Stevens of Sierra Leone by a BBC reporter in the mid 1980s.
The reporter asked Siaka Stevens when he expected to retire. Siaka Stevens laughed and asked this question: "Do you want me to hand over power and become a vagabond like Ahidjo?" Therein lies the problem with Africa in general, and Cameroon in particular. We talk of when Paul Biya would retire. To tell you my truth, if I were Paul Biya, I would remain there for live, so long as I am sure that some of you will come after me to settle old scores.
If you want me out you would have to come after me and push me out. Why would I want to leave office only to become a vagabond like Ahidjo? Think of it carefully. After all, Ahidjo had already started a process of reconciliation with the Bamilekis and Bassas. I would dare say he was largely succeeding. Many Bamilekis and Bassas were brought into government. Who knows what would have happened if he continued in office a little longer?
The way I see it, we should stop pursuing our past leaders for "crimes" they committed while in office. Paul Biya should make political hay by bringing home Ahidjo's remains for an honorable burial... That would make his future retirement interesting. If today, we encourage him to pay Ahidjo in Ahidjo's own coins, we shall tomorrow, also encourage the next person to pay Paul Biya in Biya's own currency.
That is not be what we should encourage. We should rather make retirement an attractive option for our past leaders. Do leaders of the developed world not become richer after leaving office? Why should we put ours on trial? We should know that who ever holds public office will never satisfy all the people. He may not even satisfy anybody at all times. Let us break the evil cycle of vindictiveness.

Hello James,
I like the phrase you used - "victim of circumstances" . I agree that it is difficulty to see how these leaders could have had other options, given the geopolitical divisions in the global climate at the time (cold war, etc). Ahidjo was just a tool in the hands of the French colonial administration, who for his own position was not allow much room to maneouvre.
I think the way forward is not to lionise these victims of circumstances, but to feel some form of sympathy for them. We need some form of "national reconciliation" to deal with the issues from the past. If we carry on without addressing these issues, we are likely to hit the same sort of leaderships as we have been unfortunate to have in the past.

Hello Vic,
Read "The Beautiful Ones Are Not Yet Born" by Ayi Kwei Armah. Ahidjo just had to fight if he wanted to remain president. I see him as a victim of circumstances beyond his control. Someone has to put and end to this circle vindictiveness that victimizes all Cameroonians. When I look into the future I see a long line Ahidjos, Biyas, Ashus, Kattes.... I do not see any good one among them. Let someone break the evil cycle.

My Fellow Cameroonians and Africans
I am writing to reiterate that I just called the French Embassy today at 10:27 am with my cellular phone number 973-282-6461 and spoke both in French and English with an important official at the French Embassy with respect to our political advocacy to enable a peaceful political transition in our beloved, nation Cameroon.
I introduced myself and made him to understand that other Cameroonians have also called previously and that I was also adding my voice as a Cameroonian on political asylum within the US.
Although I did not pursue the conversation absolutely in French, at least I made him to understand that I am kind of bilingual and that we were open to work together for a peaceful political transition in Cameroon. I insisted on the phone that we neither want war in Cameroon nor to see anybody hurt or killed because of our desire to change Cameroon.
It was a very fraternal and friendly, and yet very assertive conversation. I phoned the French Embassy in order to underscore the need for unity among agents of change and to discredit those who are hypocrites in our midst. They know themselves and we all know them already as they continue to distract us like barking dogs while the caravan and the train for freedom is moving on.
Because we know those who want to keep the statusquo as it is obvious from their constant attacks, I decided that I won't disclose the details nor the name of the official who earned my admiration and respect because of my peaceful and centrist approach. I will provide more information to him as he requested and we will go from there.
I believe that we are confronted by enemies against change and some of them are indeed illiterates or dementia or hypocrites. All we must do is believe in what we are doing for the revolution of the conscience that we began is the most powerful weapon we have when it seems like all is lost. No, my fellow people, rise up and shine. In our own big way we are leaving no stone unturned. In fact, we Cameroonians here in Diaspora have set the pace for the ongoing revolution in Africa.
We should take a pat on our backs. If Africa was still like the one before 2004, perhaps Gbagbo would have been assassinated like Thomas Sankara. Behold, he is only captured because our outcry for justice has not been falling on deaf ears. HOWEVER WE REGRET THAT BEDCAUSE OF THEM, INNOCENT CIVILIANS WERE KILLED IN THE CONFLICT. THIS IS WHAT WE MUST AVOID.
We have been very proactive, consistent and persistent, and this has not come without pain and suffering. We must remain focused and keep going. The race for freedom is not for the weak- hearted and those who live in fear , will never be free.
I will continue to enhance this conversation and as I said before many roads lead to rome.If you are doing something with your conviction and clear conscience for change, well, God alone sees and knows our intentions. Keep the faith and never , look back but hold unto the thread of hope as we are on the threshold to ensure that Cameroon does not become like other nations.
If you are interested in phoning the French Embassy to add your voice, please, that is entirely up to you. All I know is we have achieved so much for Africa and Cameroon by our refusal to be silent since 2006. The conspiracy of silence, ignorance and illiteracy usually thwart noble dreams and aspirations of a people unless wise men and women, smart and intelligent characters emerge ,and begin to lead fearlessly. This is the leadership we have provided to empower a new generation of right-thinking people to be true to themselves and work for a better human community.
I thank you all for your love for me and most importantly for our country, people oppressed in the midst of all these trials and temptations.

No. What you're writing is pure non-sense. There is no commonsense in your initial write-up and worst still what you wrote was illogical. You need a graduate degree +commonsense +wisdom to know how to contruct logical arguments as well as identify them. Your statements were contradictory because you actually have a different method from the one that requested a collective action at the French Embassy.
I just called the French Embassy one hour ago and spoke at length with the Executive Assistance to the ... French Ambassador. All I am saying is either you call and ask them to cooperate with us to change Cameroon or you call as usual and tell them like CPDM-USA has been doing that you all love Paul Biya and want him to die in power because it is all rosy and honey in Cameroon! There is absolutely no need to castigate a fellow Cameroonian because he simply called the French Embassy and at the sametime BRAGGING how you are known by the Cameroon Embassy!
I wanted to bring you to reason because you were very inconsistent and confused. After you attacked the young man, you came back and agreed with me by stating that you are well known by the Embassy! Isn't it a vantage point for you since you are known there more than the Njeck man? Or you were just trying to create this facade of bigmanism that is killing some of you? Isn't it a vantage point for you since you are known there more than the Njeck man? Or you were just trying to create this facade of bigmanism that is killing some of you? So, in short, I have always been right, the more reason why you are never at ease with me.I will continue to monitor you .So, watch out when you are at large with your propaganda and distractions

Jonathan,
You misinterpreted idle banter about the CUTLASS to be “joking” but defeating dictators is not a laughing matter. It is serious business.
I dedicated my speech in Oslo to prodemocracy activists in Chad, Cameroon, Syria, Yemen, Zimbabwe and elsewhere. I warned in Oslo that Ben Ali fled, Mubarak was shoved aside and more coconuts will tumble, including Paul Biya. Here is the link to my list and I am preparing a new list in the aftermath of the upheavals in North Africa. Which coconut is next?
http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2010/06/21/the_worst_of_the_worst
You singled out France, Britain and America for propping up Biya and helping ruin Cameroon’s economy over the past 50 years and accuse them of hypocrisy for advocating freedom and yet not calling upon Biya to step down. It is a valid criticism but you won’t gain much traction in using that to bring about change in Cameroon.( George, whatever! Jonathan will never hold back the truth.France, Britain and America who have aided and abetted dictator Paul Biya MUST also help me to remove him now because I care more about the people oppressed and not about what anybody thinks about me now
France, Britain and America should know better because they profess themselves to be civilized and industrialized nations and hopefully that comes with respect for the rights of others to prevail)
First, you should know that France won’t remove Biya and, even if it does, will replace him another Biya who serves French interests. ALL foreign powers operating in Africa do the same thing. China, Russia, and even Iran all have clients in Africa, propping up brutal dictators. I don’t see or hear China, Russia or Iran asking any African dictator to step down( Well, so long as France, Britain and America like the natural and mineral resources of Cameroon, they must also give us freedom in exchange for whatever they want. I don't think the problem is about who replaces him. We are talking about a political system that is dangerously corrupt and cruel, and was once rejected by the same people who are walking up and down in Cameroon as if it very normal. We need to change the system and the people, then create a new political system that will lead to good governance and the rule of law. All these can happen without hurting the interest of whoever in Cameroon. Of course, we will always need trading and business partners for our resources, right?) We want to be in charge of our destiny and promise.
Second, disabuse your mind of the notion that if the U.S. or France barks an order, ordering Biya to step down, presto! Biya will be gone the next day. It is wishful thinking. Obama has called upon Khaddafy of Libya and Assad of Syria to step aside but they are still there( No, If these powers I have mentioned support our call for Paul to go, he must go. I know the world in ,which I live. It is what it is and I will never stop my protest until these three big powers do what is right. I cannot pretend that only we , Cameroonians will succeed to remove Paul Biya because they must know that what they are doing is against the sacred and inalienable rights of Cameroonians. We need their cooperation right now because they have been told the truth. I don't pretend and will never feign affection in order to win someone's love because it will be fake. I will keep telling US, Britain and France what I feel strongly about.)
The BOTTOM LINE – and this is the message I carried to Oslo – is that we will defeat these dictators from within – without Western or foreign help. If we did it in Ghana, it can be done elsewhere. Foreign powers should be at liberty to prop up whoever they wish in Africa but should do so at their own risk and peril.
The “Odious Debt Principle” holds that a foreign loan to an illegitimate regime to repress its people is deemed “odious” and, therefore, non-repayable. The U.S. applied this doctrine in 1898 when it captured Cuba and refused to repay Cuba’s debt to Spain. In 1923, Costa Rica also refused to repay the debts incurred by its dictator, Frederico Tinoco. In 1990, the threat by Bangladeshi opposition parties to apply the doctrine caused foreign aid donors and creditors to deny funds to the military regime of President Hussain Mohammad Ershad. It subsequently collapsed.( Yes, I agree with you. No more loans or donations to any corrupt tyranny and dictatorship until they declare their assets and account for the gross violation of human rights. Any loans given to Cameroon since I filed an official complaint against Paul Biya and the CPDM regime to US Government will be non-repayable. It is for the best interest of all of us with vested interest in Cameroon to comply with the universal princiuples of human dignity)
I will post my remarks in Oslo shortly.

So, George what did you people discuss about dictator Paul Biya of Cameroon who has been there 10 x10x10=30 years including the years he served as PM under the previous dictator? I am looking for that your list of world dictators again. I can't find it. Please, repost it again so that I will refresh my eyes ans mind with what you said about dictator Paul Biya.
France, Britain and America have been in Cameroon for more 50 years and that has ruined our economy, too. How could free people be walking up and down in a society that is not free without bothering? There is a sort of travesty in the way that these big power conduct themselves in the world.
I wonder if you do realize that no dictator will ever be in power without being aided and abetted by the same people who accuse them now. So, I hope US, Britain and France will support our call for dictator Paul Biya to step down just as they did to oust President Mubarak lately.
Is there any concreate plan for us Cameroonians and did you take up our case in Oslo?
This is our appeal to Paul Biya to step down and let me know what you are doing to help us Cameroonians and if there is someone we need to contact let me know, Prof. Let us act fast although you seem to be joking about this Oslo matter. Thank you so much Prof George Ayittey.
Your rebuttal is very encouraging and thoughtful . Now, I have hope for Oslo Freedom.
Those who came to Africa and gave us dictatorship and corrupt tyranny are learning today that some of us have realized that it not a guranteed system of government with a life time warranty. Therefore, those who brought it have to take it back because we must make a u-turn now or never. So long as these big nations are meddling into our societies with the help of other Africans in our midst , we must get them involved by getting right into their face in one way or the other to disrupt, dismantle and defeat these dictators
The undeniable truth is that we are now confronted with an enormous problem in the continent of Africa like the fate that befell black people in America. We are now condemned to live with these foreign bodies who want our blessing so bad to the extent that they will do anything to kill our people for them. Our demise lies in the senseless betrayal by some Africans who only live for themselves.
I think we need to educate our fellow Africans who are hoodwinked to think that they could ever defeat a dictator at the ballot box. When we choose the wrong fight, we waste our time and energy in a goose chase. I don't believe even for one second that even Obama would win an election in Cameroon organized by dictator Paul Biya.
All of us Africans must work together to dismantle these very bad systems of Government and my point is that Cameroon be next on the list. We , Africans must work together to salvage our continent from such men and women who do not care about the human condition of our people. Whether or not these countries are calling Dictator Paul Biya to step down, I know for sure that it is more than just pronouncement on the Presidential podium at the White House.
Yes, you are absolutely, right. The world bank and IMF must stop giving loans to Cameroon Government until we have removed dictator Paul Biya and his cohorts from power and formed a transitional government toward good governance and the rule of law.
It is unsettling to give loans to countries, whose dictator Paul Biya and his government have never declared their assets because the loans end up in their private bank accounts. What is the implication? They indebt the country, ruin its destiny and await patiently for civil war or genocide in order to kill innocent people and destroy our promise. This must not happen again while educated people stand by and watch.
Africa has two types of people namely, true Africans and estranged Africans. All true Africans must unite from one country to the other and cultivate the will, resources and means to inject instantaneous revolutions from one country to the other to chase away these wicked rulers. I mean wicked and heartless human beings who are ready to kill our people. No, there must be a way out of all these mess and Africans should not say that " well, let Cameroonians take care of their own problems...". No, it is all of us defined by one destiny and one humanity to protect and support one another
Thank you and we must act now .

Hi George,
As I said, it could be that a "Piece of work" means something different in another country. Sayings are cropping up all the time, many from the US. I hate the latest one, "man up" even the Australians say it.Ghaddafi has had a long run, forty two years since he toppled King Idris. It is certain he won't run, who would have him anyway? My experience, or rather Andy's experience, of the Libyan people was that they were nice people, my husband was diplomatic, he didn't talk politics or ask them awkward questions, also, he respected their beliefs. I wish he was still here, I could ask him what he thinks of the current situation. I think what you say will happen is correct, it will be one or the other. Britain has apparently no money yet it is spending £100 million on bombing Libya. I doubt they will stop till they achieve their objective, to get Ghaddafi. It's obviously about oil at the end of the day.
I'm going to check out the Oslo link.

In view of the unconfirmed announcement about the visit of Cameroon CPDM Prime Minister to the United States of America, we, the people have decided to address this rumor head-on in order to know the truth and facts about such a visit. We take such matters very seriously and will want the CPDM-USA organizers to understand the level of our anxiety and may be some curiosity. As true patriots and law abiding citizens, we believe that it is appropriate to reach out to the sources that started spreading the propaganda because we want some accurate information as we are preparing seriously to meet with the Prime Minister and his Delegation with OUR CONCERNS AGAINST HIS CPDM REGIME AND GOVERNMENT. Up till now, we, the people have not had the itinerary of the CPDM regime delegation to the USA led by Prime Minister Philemon Yang and Minister Ngole Ngole. So far, we have only heard through unconfirmed sources that the Prime Minister of Mr Paul Biya and CPDM regime was due to visit the CPDM -USA and other para-CPDM groups. Any clandestine visit by the PM to individuals and special CPDM groups will be questioned and considered corrupt. We, the people have the right to know about this visit whether or not they like it because they are using the people's tax money for such a trip. Please those who are hiding the Prime Minister in their private homes or some unknown Hotel should know that he is a public figure and MUST speak to all Cameroonians and not only to PRO- CPDM Cameroonians in this country looking for bribes and favors from a corrupt establishment that does not want to quit and does not want free and fair elections. We are ready to attend the Town Hall Forum to bring their concerns directly to the Prime Minister in the presence and witness of the Civil Society. We are warming -up and getting ready to face the Prime Minister. What a great day that will be for Cameroonians and the world to see Cameroonians in motion to discuss about their future. How many people within the CPDM regime are among your entourage? Is there any member of the opposition among your delegation? Why not? How much does it cost you to make this round trip? Did you explain to the Cameroon people the reasons for your trip to the US? When you applied for VISAS to travel what reasons did you give for your visit to obtain your visas? How long will you folks stay in the US and where will you be living ? Who will you visit and what will you be talking about? Are you going to travel to other States where Cameroonians are based? Will the US Ambassador to Cameroon be present at the Prime Minister's Town Hall Forum since you are visiting her country? If the answer is NO, we will recommend strongly that the US officials arrest them immediately 3) Cameroonians will ask the Cameroon CPDM Prime Minister and his delegation especially Minister Ngole Ngole some tough questions on Political Science as regards the evil Political system of dictatorship and corrupt tyranny, which they are part of . Minister Ngole Ngole as a Professor of Political Science and a graduate from an American University for that matter has some serious explaining to do to Cameroonians in the Diaspora on political asylum because of political persecution by the CPDM regime and government they are representing on their visit to the United States of Free People. 4)We will ask the Prime Minister and his delegation to explain to Cameroonians why there is a such a disconnect with the Economic Data Facts against Cameroon with the actual economic situation in Cameroon.
