Hello Mr Pastor Hamilton Ayuk and Dr Rexon Nting

CPDM regime and CPDM Party is the ROOT CAUSE OF CORRUPTION in Cameroon

Those who perpetrate corruption in any form, manner or shape must be held to account. This is more a matter of individual responsibility and not a collective thing where you guys want to employ the CPDM tricks as usual to waterdown the effort.

Of course the " unexamined life is not worth living" and while we are all cross-examing ourselves, the only way to move forward is to enforce the laws of our country without prejudice. What is it that is not clear to any of you about application and enforcement of laws? How else are we supposed to hold each other accountable?

This is how the blame game must stop. Mr Bernie Madoff is arrested and locked up and his assets seized. That is action. If you are a thief and we have evidence that you have stolen, we, the people should take action. You Dr Rexon Nting cannot stop us from taking action but you can be involved in action by providing the names of people who are corrupt. Who should take collective responsibility? You mean who here? Not every body is in that state of moral decadence. So, don't be subjective at all.

This is time for seriousness and if you have never been serious before, then you need to stop speaking with water in your mouth and begin to behave yourself as a Behavorial Economists. We cannot blame everyone without someone providing  good and responsible leadership so that there is some order and good behavior among people with respect to our common good.

Jesusman, I think your personal friendship with some of these CPDM -USA tends to cloud your judgment a lot of times even though you might have drifted away from the CPDM Party. You still have a problem being very objective because you may still be in love with them out of either sympathy or friendship with the likes of sam Esale, who has replaced MADIBA or so!

Again, that is your right to condone but it is not morally right to me ,which explains why I don't agree with you. People like SAM ESALE wants that we should forget about what happened on October 9th and focus on what is happening now! Do you agree with him and them?

This psychoanalysis is very important because so far you have not provided any scientific evidence or any source that validates your statements against the premise on,which I am basing my case against the CPDM. For this reason, I decided that I will be more specific and factual to guide our readership to have a good understanding of the premise of my claims against the CPDM regime and CPDM Party.

Unless you make your own premise clear to myself and those who take great pleasure to digest this compelling matter, I do not think that you possess the academic and moral power to question or criticize my premise since by all indication you do not have an alternative premise.

When I state categorically without fear or favor that CPDM regime and CPDM Party are the root cause of corruption in Cameroon and among Cameroonians, I am speaking from a constitutional and legal point of view( Article 66 of the Constitution of Cameroon calls for assets declaration and why has Mr Paul Biya and his CPDM regime not declared their assets according to the law? This is a very big issue to me . Yet, some of them still don't get it )

There is really no grounds for a debate with you Hamilton Ayuk on this subject with respect to CPDM BEING THE ROOT CAUSE OF CORRUPTION IN CAMEROON. One cannot go to the streets and blame every Cameroonian for the sins of corruption as an inherent moral failure but we have to blame those who are in power because we look up to them to set good examples as well as enforce our laws. On the contrary, they have been enablers in not only subtle ways but also have bragged about it to those who choose not to practice corruption.

By making every other Cameroonian to understand that the only immoral conditions under ,which they can  get their dorssiers signed or stamped is to bribe those who handle them is very sickening! Who has enabled this criminal and moral lapse in the  professional behavior of public servants? If people are made to know that giving or recieving bribes will result into severe consequences like imprisonment, expulsion from work and all other measures, do you think, it will still be rampant?

Hardly is anyone admited into Professional schools in Cameroon under the CPDM wihout some shaddy business negotiations and arrangements in the background and we all know that millions of frs CFA are involved. If not, the elite choose who should enter ENAM, ERIC,CENAM, ENS etc. In other words your background matters not your knowledge ,intelligence and capabilities ,which is what we should pay more attention to.

You can add that CNU was also the root cause of corruption in Cameroon but still it does not role out the present demise in ,which we find ourselves under the current administration of CPDM regime. After all most of the people who are now CPDM were also CNU including some members of the Opposition who even served under CPDM regime before resigning to form their own corrupt political Parties. If a leader launches a campaign, which you call Rigor and Moralization in good faith, then he or she must leave up to such flowery and towering idealism or even come closed to it.

But Mr Paul Biya has soiled his hands with the blood of hundreds of innocent Cameroonians as well as tampered and altered our country's constitution to cling unto power for life! Mr Paul Biya who wanted to radically depart from Machiveallianism by espousing his idealism is the first person who has no moral compass and integrity in his style of governance of Cameroon during the last 29 years as President.  History is very well written at times and recounts facts about Presidents who were forced to resign  in countries where true rigor and moralization reigns.

Mr Paul Biya has been a  Parrrot politician who still thinks that this century is like the Machiveallian era where every cynicism was just Ok. We now live in a terrific century ,which has set a new moral standard for a way forward for our generation. Cameroonians did not force Paul Biya and his government to hang unto power. It is their own personal responsibility and the world has witnessed the truth during their fake Presidential elections.

Cameroonians may be corrupt but they have been forced and implicated into a very difficult situation with the hope to survive for the meantime.Yet, they know that what they do is wrong and it requires a good leader and government with a moral compass to say enough is enough to all these.

I am neither thinking randomly nor playing the usual blame game that some of you play as well as the denialism ,which often clouds good judgment in the light of truths and facts.Scientifically and legally, you can't make assumptions or accusations without some legal framework that can substantiate your statements. Under the rule of law, it is called evidence and as to whether it is what kind of evidence is entirely up to the legal experts.

On my own part, the simple fact that CPDM regime cannot comply with article 66 of our constitution gives me the moral voice to castigate them as well as take any legal action against them. Why has Mr Paul Biya and his government not declared their assets per article 66? If they have not done so, then equally, they do not pay taxes except overseas where they have invested their ill-gotten wealth. In order words if every other person is corrupt then only very few incorruptibles will remain.

Their tricks seem to work sometimes because the goal is to drown the voices of the few who are not corrupt as well as dismiss their effort as insignificant because everybody is doing the same wrong thing over and over again. Is this what you are talking about or what are you people arguing or defending? Are you livibng in denial?

You are very right Jesusman. People who benefitted from corruption themselves through the utilisation of cooked up documents to travel abroad cannot lay the blame for corruption entirely on the CPDM. This blame game must stop and Cameroonians must recognise that we are all responsible for the mess we created. Change must start from within and not from without.

That premise is still wrong. CPDM cannot be the root; the starter. The permeator or enabler is not necessarily the founder or beginner. Cameroon was already corrupt before Biya came to power. That is why he came up with Rigor and Moralization which eneded up being rigor and immoralization. he only refined and perfected the corruption. We must all agree that every Cameroonian whether CPDM or not has enabled corruption but the CPDM being the government party has failed to impliment its own policies and platform.

It is a simple moral issue but we have to first of all blame the perpetrators.
If the President is corrupt, then the government he  or she leads will also be corrupt as well as the Parliament and Governors and others. So, we have to be very sincere as to how to go about solving this problem.

I said the CPDM regime and CPDM Party is the root cause of corruption.
I did not say that they are entirely responsible for it.
After all they are the ones in power and have broken the rule of law in many occasions. We have start from some where and to me the rule of law is critical if we must stamp out corruption in Cameroon and among Cameroon.

Remember what I said, they the regime and Party in power have authorized corruption among Cameroonians.I think I was pretty clear and consistent in my thought process and argument. Cameroonians are very corrupt as a result of a corrupt political system that uses the sinful nature of Cameroonians to justify evil, embezzlement and corrupttion at a much larger scale than the 500 frs police officers collect from the road from transportation vehicles.

Rev Awasom,

This theory is untenable because every human being has a sinful nature whether CPDM or SDF. Secondly, before the CPDM there was already corruption. Thirdly, CPDM has the m ajority on paper. Two third of ameroonians do not belong tot he CPDM and these two third are as corrupt as the one third that belongs tot he CPDM.

The weakness in your theory is that if the CPDM was no mroe in existence asnd we have somehtinb like the UPC or SDF or even Ayah or Walla's party, corrutption will disappear overnight. No, it will not because the people permeating the corruption are in all these parties and everywhere in government and private. If there is corrptrion in government, it is not only CPDM people who work with the government.

Therefore, CPDM cannot be the root cause of corrption in Cameroon. CPDM can only be the enabler and gardener of corruption in Cameroon. The majority of Grand Nord, S/W, N/W, West, and Littoral do not adhgere to CPDM, yet there is much corruption as it is in CPDM diehards regions.
Cameroon needs a total reformation and transformation of its mindset whether oppositoon or government, whether CPDM or not. Actually, there are some people in the opposition who are pure corrupt than some in the CPDM.

Until then, take care and stay blessed.

St. Arrey of Ntenako.

Sam Esale

THE CPDM REGIME AND CPDM PARTY IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF CORRUPTION IN CAMEROON

What you write is masterminded by your deep seated sense of intellectual dishonesty and moral decay. Have you changed recently from working and supporting the CPDM regime that has been abusing the power? Can you first of all tell us if you're indeed a changed man and when has this change taken place ?

I do not know from  where you have taken your very corrupt courage to write about Anti-corruption when you are indeed part of the system that has authorized corruption as a way of life among Cameroonians.

When you have lost your  moral compass in life, do not try to sail through trouble waters of corruption under a terrorist regime like CPDM of Cameroon.

It is not helpful to think that free speech means that you should bite and blow at the sametime. I do not know how some of you were raised up and who taught you in school?

The CPDM regime stole the voices of Cameroonians at a corrupt and fraudulent Presidential elections and in spite of the fact that the people refused to give them the normal democratic mandate to govern, all of you applauded injustice and corruption.
Do you now understand the ROOT CAUSE OF CORRUPTION?

Ironically, you want to speak about Anti-corruption ! Is it not really advisable that we start dismantling corruption from top- down ?

Remember that I had taken a moment to blame the Cameroon Opposition Parliamentarians and the so called 23 Presidential Candidates for enabling and participating in the corruption in Cameroon and among Cameroonians. I have been very objective and fair enough in holding every person accountable and at the end of the day, the system of corruption is piloted by the CPDM regime.

This is how I am drawing my conclusion that that the CPDM regime and Party is the root cause. Is this point very clear to you? In my last memo about Cameroon Opposition, I did argue vehemently that it was wrong for them to spend precious time  fighting among themselves over who is the greatest opposition whereas that time would have been invested into a concerted team spirit to change the CPDM regime. The moral failure of the opposition came when they  said  YEA, the CPDM regime and CPDM Party is corrupt but we will accept the 30 million frs CFA offer anyways!

I think I have been very outspoken on this but I am not going to blame the opposition forever because the opposition does not hold the keys to the regime, government and all what comes with government institutions at home and abroad. I fight wisely and fairly enough because I am looking at the  big picture as well as the way governments  work in other societies.
