THE INDOMITABLE HUMAN SPIRIT AND THE LONGING FOR FREEDOM AND LIBERTY

THE INDOMITABLE HUMAN SPIRIT AND THE LONGING FOR FREEDOM AND LIBERTY

Humankind's longing for freedom/liberty is driven by the indomitable human spirit of  patriotism, resilience and compassion for fellow citizens. Sometimes in life, all what we might have is the human spirit of resilience ,which keeps us hopeful.

However, hope must be matched with realistic , measurable and achievable goals. For instance our case is clear.Our demands are outstanding and obvious within the realm of possibility; free all political prisoners, create a Justice and Reparation Council for victimsdeclare your assets, stop human rights violation,step down from power or face the music of ICC

We have come to realize that the pride of every country and the citizens is measured by their spirit of sacrifice and volunteerism towards building a better country according to her potential and talented people. One of our finest goals is to tap into these talents in order to reach the unmet potential of  the country and people.

The indomitable human spirit to freedom is a given because man and woman were born free.No where on earth should they be bounded up in chains by another human being. When it is crystal clear by virtue of empirical evidence that any other fellow human being is responsible for deprivation of the other's liberty or freedom, the human spirit without constrain must shout out for help.No doubt, everywhere people are protesting against the illegal chains of oppression because the human spirit is not created to conform or condone oppression.

So, for the mere fact that we are free somewhere in this world, there is no doubt on our minds that  we stand in  a noble place in history today to activate or re-activate that spirit inside us  so that it helps us to achieve the most precious gift of life ,which is freedom and safety.

The Indomitable human spirit breeds conviction because it is natural and uncontested. Conviction leads to courage.Courage amounts to positive action in our world. See the formula for freedom and Change again.The Indomitable human spirit+essence of conviction+ force of courage+ compassionate patriotism+ the power of collective action=freedom and change

Scotte Thorpe observed from his book about leadership lessons from America's most successful patriots  that ; "Conviction is essential to overcoming obstacles"
We are conviced beyond Preponderance  evidence we are gathering that Dictator Paul Biya and his government are ripe for prosecution by the International Criminal Court( ICC) from this moment in history if he fails to comply with our demands  boldly spelled out on the blog today.
1) Free all Political Prisoners immediately and set up a Justice Reparation Council to enable their  compensation and re-admission into the civil society( Compensation for damages)

2.) President Paul Biya and his government should comply with the Constitution especially article 66, which orders by law that all government officials must declare their assets.They have never respected this order. This is clear evidence that Dictator Paul Biya has dishonored and abused our  nation and people without impunity. This particular violation has prompted the systematic violation of the human rights of Cameroonians.
Had he been respectful of the constitution , in fact he would not have to deal with people going to the streets to demonstrate or protest against his cruelty.The main  reason why the human rights violation of people is at its worst stage of decadence is because Dictator Paul Biya has chosen individualistic  greed over  the common creed of the people of Cameroon who ought to be  living together in peace and harmony according to the promise of the country.

3) Dictator Paul Biya should step down( resign) as President of Cameroon and submit himself to the Justice and Reparation Council to enable him confess to his crimes against humanity and be re-habiltated into the Cameroon society. The downfall of any single dictator on earth like Paul Biya  will save the lives of  more than 1000 children a day in Cameroon. Meanwhile every single day that he is allowed to stay in power about 2000 children die everyday as a result of his corrupt policies, violation of the human rights of the mother, father or adopted parents of the children.

If President Paul Biya does not meet with these demands let him know that we will proceed to seek, advocate,lobby and cry out as we are already doing  for his prosecution at ICC. We are gathering sufficient pieces of evidence to use and make no mistake about it. We are not only convinced but we are also very determined because we are doing the right thing.
The International Criminal Court( ICC) became effective in 2002, which means that ICC has earned  jurisdiction over crimes between 2002 and 2010 committed against humanity by this Dictator Paul Biya and his corrupt CPDM regime. One of the basis on ,which the ICC is bound to take action is the failure of the judicial system in a given country.

We, Cameroonians from all walks of life especially respectable and decent lawyers, Judges and all other people with a legal knowledge have agreed to the fact that the Judicial system in Cameroon is a fiasco. It has failed many times to deliver to the people.Ironically it has only served the selfish interest of  Dictator  Paul Biya, which shows quite clearly that he exerts undue infleunce over the Judicial System in Cameroon to suit his whims and caprices. This is highly unacceptable at this time in history.

We are looking forward  to a new political system that will truly represent the people as well as have separation of powers with the Independence of the different arms of government especially the Judiciary. Cameroonians must know that they have the full right to alter or abolish the system that has put them down for decades. So, please, we must educate Cameroonians and concerned citizens around the world about the merit of our case against Dictator Paul Biya as supported by President George Washington in his farewell address to Americans.

  President George Washington in his farewell address, September 17,1796
"The basis of our political system is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitution of government"

50 Years of Dependence on Foreig Rule against the Oppressed   in Cameroon is enough.

Dear President Paul Biya

Part One

                I do not hate you but please, step down as President.

Sincere greetings to you and your family as we seek a free and peaceful country in this next decade for all people. It is with great pleasure that I wish you a happy ending to your more than 34 years as the Prime Minister of Cameroon, then Chairman of the CPDM Party and also President of Cameroon. This is my response to your New Year’s message in my capacity as a Political asylee in the Diaspora and also as an aspirant to be the leader of the transitional Government in anticipation.

I am not sure that you and your government had read the Constitution before making your New Year’s message because you made pretty tough accusations, which I am bound to answer in order to set the records straight. I also want to draw your attention to the fact that I also have a blog where I have been building the case for a new Cameroon . It will be extremely important that your government pays close attention to these two vital resources in a bid to understand their fellow citizen. I have told the truth about the wrongs and injustice of your government against us and I stand corrected of any lie-telling and slander.

Dear President Paul Biya

The Office of the President is at the heart of what constitutes a nation and must be separate from the post of the Chairman of a Political Party. This is because when you are President you are for all people and not only for your Party. Besides, for the last 27 years that you have held both positions, it has been like holding an egg of management in your two hands and climbing the ladder of leadership at the sametime. To be chairman and President at the sametime must have been a very difficult task to perform because within the United States no one person is allowed to handle the two separate offices because it will impede democracy and progress.

You now understand why it has been a very, very difficult and near fatal climb. You could fall down and break your spiral cord because once you stumble on the ladder, you lose your balance. The lack of balance of power under the canopy of a good system of government in our societies is the hallmark of our doom because there is no exit strategy to begin with. I have learned from what happened to your predecessor, President Ahmadou Ahidjo and have wrestled with how I can prevent another genocide, civil war or military coup d’etat in our beloved country.

Dear President Paul Biya

I do not hate you as a person because I know that you have touched the lives of millions of people although your demerits have far outweighed your merits. I am fully aware that they are people who are happy with you because you have impacted their lives forever with your attitude and policies, which have not favored others. For the sake of continuity, I must recognize their own concerns and fears but the time has come for us to overcome fear and replace it with faith, hope and Love. Even the Pope understands that love is very critical in this century because the former was shaped by hate and fear. As a staunch Roman Catholic Christian I know you to be, I pray that you listen to your Pope and also Christian Cardinal Tumi for once.

You have always been a very fine looking man since 1982 when you burst on the world stage as this innocent President who was well liked. I always remember but things have deteriorated along the way because of the system, which was bequeathed to you. The system has the capability to make extremely good people to become dangerously bad. That is why I am scared of it and will never serve under it until it is free and changed. The only way forward is for all us to swallow our pride and toughness, and start looking for the things, which connects us together as Cameroonians. We have never dwelled on our highest ideals and values because of excessive tribalism and cronyism.

I hate the system, which has engulfed all of us. I plead your indulgence to help us help you free ourselves from it. I am not a villain and have no malicious intentions taking over from you. Our generation has captured the essence of the moment as an alternative force to reckon with. We are not another bickering opposition because our goal is to continue building Cameroon forward ever and backwards never. I will like to refer you to the Restorative Justice and Reconciliation Council I have proposed to copy the philosophy and principle of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of South Africa. As you know, Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu formed it on the threshold of the downfall of apartheid and he would be a good person to work with since he also visited Cameroon in 1994.

Dear President Paul Biya

You have a golden opportunity to write your name down in the new chapter of Cameroon history if you do us a great favor by stepping down as soon as possible. This council is unprecedented and comes in the wake of a very progressive and ambitious peace plan I first proposed to Cameroonians in 2006. While many things have crossed my mind since I have been hurt by that system, too, still I have always gravitated toward a very peaceful transition. I know that there are many people within the system who are very angry with me and could hurt me if they have the slightest opportunity. I am not angry and I want them to put the interest of the country above theirs for a moment.

I want you and your family to retire peacefully to your beautiful castle in Sangmalima, Yaounde and enjoy your retirement. The Office of the President is very demanding when things are done the right way and you should not be enslaved by it. The French system changed after the French revolution of 1789 and now they have a system, which has an exit strategy. I am uncomfortable with the fact that any French person would punish you with absolute power, which robes you of retirement, peace and happiness with your family and grand children. Don’t you want to play and hang out with your grand children outside of unusually charged Presidential duties?

I do not want what happened to President Ahidjo and other African Presidents to repeat itself. I do not want you to flee with your family into exile to France , China or Saudi Arabia under force or fear. You still have a young family and you should be able to raise your children and grand children in Cameroon , as well as enjoy the full rights and privileges that all First Families in the world enjoy under the right political system. This should also be extended to members and families of your government. Somehow all of us must overcome the fear that is holding a whole nation hostage. If we can have a new life in the diaspora then, it can happen in Cameroon , too.

We are determined to invent a new system for all of us because they are many people around you who do not love you. They are using you to destroy yourself and also to destroy us. They pamper a vicious cycle because of their vested interest there. We are not going to revenge against you and your government but we are asking for your maximum cooperation because we are desperate for change. This is an offer I am making before God and humanity. I will plead with the Cameroonian people and the world on your behalf. This is because deep inside my soul and heart I believe that you could have done better if the system was a good system and if good advisers surrounded you.

Dear President Paul Biya

I have lived long enough to know that if you choose the route of stubborn resistance, all of us may destroy society and ourselves. You have the power, resources and the means to resist but the time has come for you to demonstrate your patriotism and also show us the other side of your humanity, which is hidden from us. We are only seeing one side because the hallways of corrupt power have clouded our perception. You should retire and build a Presidential library to mark the dawn of a new era for Cameroon where all Presidents will be rehabilitated, valued and appreciated objectively for their influential lives on earth. We will help you to erect a Presidential library to engender the good and bad of the person you have become.

No matter how we pretend, the truth is you have been one of the longest Statesmen ever in the history of Cameroon and humankind. Your negative and positive influential life is what makes us human. At least you would have an opportunity for your good and negative legacy to be preserved in a more objective and non-controversial manner. In that way your children and posterity would not have to wrestle with the truth. You have a good case for consideration because you did not come to power through a military coup d’etat. Besides, none of us in our generation ever supported what President Ahidjo did and that is why all Cameroonians could be considerate in all fairness. We always liked you for a change but were naïve to know that the system was the problem. Now we know better. The system is bad. We are yearning for a new system of government at this time in history.

Dear President Paul Biya

Again, you are aware of the fact that you were initially Prime Minister of Cameroon from 1975 to 1982. In the same year your predecessor was tricked during, which time he bequeathed the Presidency to you against his wish. Since 1982 till 2010 you are still the President of Cameroon to suit the whims and caprices of the French government and your "majority" Pro-CPDM Cameroonians in Cameroon and diaspora in particular. This is too long for one man to be Prime Minister and President in a diverse country like Cameroon where we represent different tribes, indigenous populations and regions. We are not trying to trick you as your predecessor was deceived because he would not leave power when his time was up. We are unveiling our true colors as good citizens against civil war, genocide and coup d’etat because these are all forces that ruin civilization. We must preserve, restore, improve and keep building.

PART TWO

Your  Doctrine of Credit Crunch And  ELECAM

Dear President Paul Biya

Your government actually claims that Cameroon is an Independent Country like France ! But since 1959 history has it on record that the French people have experienced different leaders as General De Gaulle, President Francois Mitterrand, Jacque Chirac and now the young Nicolas Sarkozi. These different democratically elected Presidents and their political parties translate to us as transparent and accountable democratic governments with a constructive exit strategy that preserves civilization. Yet, in Cameroon the same people have aided and abetted your government under a system that they would not tolerate in their country. Do you see my point? This is what I find unacceptable and mind boggling warranting us to speak truth to power. Plato once said said “The unexamined Life is not worth living” and the French Government and Citizens must all examine themselves and their unethical business policies in other societies. If Colonialism resulted in francophonism then the parts of Africa once colonized by France ought to have been clothed by the same system of transparency and accountability in France .

Dear President Paul Biya

It repeatedly came to our acknowledge that you were serving corporate French Interest in Cameroon against, which background your government and the corporate French people have conspired with your government to perpetuate a selfish political and economic system in Cameroon. This system has presided over one of the worst forms of deprivation, corruption and exploitation of the Cameroon people from one region to the other. I am afraid you are trying to create this façade of majority against minority but there is a red flag. It is first of all, troubling for us to know that the French system of government is a direct opposite of the one you are currently heading bequeathed to you by your predecessor.

You and the French government should know that some of the finest economic and political thinkers of the 18th century were of French Nationality like Frederic Bastiat. To learn more about him, download him on the internet. One of his famous works is “The Law”. I was wondering if you studied about him while you were a student in France ?   He was one of the most influential political economists who blasted legal plundering being practiced by France and your government against the oppressed. He argued that the law was perverted /twisted weapon that was used by selfish people to perpetuate legal plunder. This is what this fine French citizen said about the Law;

“The Law perverted! And the police powers of the state perverted along with it! The Law, I say, not only turned from its proper purpose but made to follow an entirely contrary purpose! The Law become the weapon of every kind of greed! Instead of checking crime, the law itself guilty of the evils it is supposed to punish!

If this is true, it is a serious fact, and moral duty requires me to call the attention of my fellow-citizens to it”

Dear President Paul Biya,

Is your government and the French government guilty or not guilty of the above charges by Frederic Bastiat? The lawlessness that reigns in our societies makes me wonder why we have law schools, Professors of law, the Bar Association, Professional lawyers, Courts, Judges and Law Students. If there is no rule of law then may be we should just abolish law Schools and the law Profession than have the kind of indecorous contempt of the law. It is not late to heed to the moral duty of Frederic Bastiat calling upon his fellow-citizens of France to turn over a new page.

We have watched at the oppressive and exploitative actions of the French government in Cameroon under your watch and now completely fed up. The French government has acted inappropriately in our territory with your complicity through military dictatorship that has led to extreme forms of abuse like murders, threats, retaliations, arbitrary arrests and illegal detentions and imprisonment of citizens of Cameroon and the world. I want you to know that none of us could have the audacity to mistreat and exploit the French people in these inhumane fashions.

Therefore, you cannot speak about a democratic process in Cameroon when your government and France have failed to account for the flagrant violation of the human rights of Cameroonians. I mean those who are daily bombarded with military mobilization, intimidation and scare tactics to force them to become part of the unconstitutional majority motion of support launched by the die-hard CPDM supporters. We are sick and tired of these folks who knowingly pervert the law of our country.

Dear President Paul Biya

Let me take this opportunity to state that we as true and patriotic Cameroonians will like you and the French government to know that we can become partners and not master and servant anymore. Slavery was abolished a long time ago and human beings have learned to understand that no nation should ever treat another nation as slaves or second-class citizens by enriching a few and enslaving the majority. The fact that the French people colonized certain parts of Cameroon or Africa is no grounds for them to continue invading, killing and exploiting other people without impunity.

I want you to know that we are not against French people's involvement in Cameroon or Africa except that they are some anti-French government practices, which violates International laws as well as the sacred rights of others. We are bound to make it abundantly clear that we were never created by God to be lesser than any French person or subjugated by them because of their uncontrollable quest for the riches of the Cameroon . There is a better way to tap into the riches of earth without mass killings through genocide, civil war and coup d’etats or clandestine assassinations of progressive citizens who seek the common good. We should all respect the law of nature and the law of God. In fact Frederic Bastiat asserts that

 “Life is a gift from God. We hold from God the gift, which includes all others. This gift is life- physical, intellectual, and moral life”

I will like to believe beyond reasonable doubts that legal plunder is not of God. God is love and we must translate God’s Love by preserving life where it is absolutely necessary under just circumstances.

Dear President Paul Biya

You have stated that Cameroon like most countries is marked by the global economic and financial crisis but which countries are you referring to? It is hard for us to understand your speech because your statements are not backed by facts to enable us evaluate the nature and context of the crisis. You also noted that "foreign investments were deferred resulting to credit crunch". What foreign investments are you referring to? Which countries have you invested in and what are the names of the corporations you are doing business with? What do you really mean by the fundamentals of the economy resisted fairly well? In order for us to take you seriously, you have to give us facts when you are speaking about the economy.

The above sketchy comments from you are not the basis for a weaken economy unless you show to us how that has happened. The fact about the matter is your assertion about Cameroon ’s economy defies conventional standards for accountability characterized by dishonesty, corruption and mismanagement. Of course, you are very correct that the foundations of our economy are not shaken. We are endowed with incredible natural and human resources, which should not first of all put us in any situation of credit crunch. You government is addressing these economic problems from a very strong position of abuse of power and mismanagement of resources and public funds. Therefore you are not believable.

Dear President Paul Biya

As someone who has the military power with your government under the French supervision, you have never declared your assets since 1975. The Constitution, which you have so often changed regularly like your shirt demands that the President and his government and all other public servants declare their assets according to article 66. All of you have failed to respect the Constitution for more than 30 years. This action alone is the foundation of Franco-Cameroon government greed and injustice against us. We don't know your assets at home and overseas because they are not separated from the country's assets necessary for assessing the economic performance of the country. I call it Franco-Cameroon greed because there is a problem on United States media landscape known as American Greed. This program shows how the system works under the rule of law as the FBI is the leading arm of the law that prosecutes greed.

For these reasons, I reject your unsubstantiated economic analysis until all of you comply with article 66. Right now we believe that all of you are swindlers of our investments, resources and money like Bernie Madoff who is serving 150 years in jail. This means that regardless of the global economic and financial crisis, the unemployment rate in Cameroon would not be up to 75 % resulting to undue economic hardship and suffering of the people. There is no way for us to guarantee fiscal discipline without moral and spiritual discipline. What I mean is if the law requires that you declare your assets and you violate it, then why should you raise an alarm about economic slow down and dwindling revenue when you folks have juicy financial accounts in foreign banks for your families unaccountable for?

Dear President Paul Biya

Consequently, at this hour in history we believe beyond any reasonable doubts that you cannot protect public funds when you are one of its swindlers. As a matter of fact, some French Newspapers exposed your fiscal indiscipline last year during, which you and your entourage squandered over 20million Frs. CFA a day on vocation to France while millions of our people were suffering under poverty; no access to basic health care and housing. We do not have confidence in you and cannot continue to entrust our destiny in your care when none of you have no sense of accountability. I was thinking that a vacation to a foreign country should be less expensive compared to vacating within the Cameroon society. If you had separated your private assets from the State assets, then we would not raise an alarm. It is our concern because you have never declared your assets. After all there are very wealthy and rich people in this world who have worked very hard for their riches.

Dear President Paul Biya

You must understand that the first democratic step toward protection of public funds is for your government to step down for failing to respect the rule of law, which governs all democracies. You folks cannot effectively curb corruption among Cameroonians when your government, which you reshuffle and recycle at will, are responsible for the worst type of corruption in the history of humankind. You swindle everything ranging from loans and then you complaint on the world stage that you are a poor nation! I have never known of any democratic process that exists in a dictatorship and corrupt tyranny.

By mentioning this you have again failed to tell us how you and your government have achieved that democratic process in the light of the Constitution of Cameroon. Yet, you even dare to say “We have worked diligently to start up ELECAM". Deligence starts up with diligent compliance with the rule of law and from what we know the Constitution does not confer absolute right to your CPDM Party to start up an Election Commission. You cannot pretend that you have not heard us. Besides, even the European Union has expressed concern against your ELECAM because it lacks democratic flavor and consensus.

But most importantly, under a democratic process all people are expected to know how the country is governed in order to be more involved. Everyone can make promises about what they intend to accomplish in the next decade for Cameroonians. However, you are the same person who for the past Five decades you and French people have destroyed the promise, dreams and hopes of Cameroonians with the exception of a few. Let me conclude by pointing out that you cannot attract foreign investors into Cameroon under dictatorship and endemic corruption.

I have seen that only free and open societies provide the conducive environment for foreign investments because there is guaranteed political stability under good governance and the rule of law. Never mind there is an error on the part of IMF granted that they some sort of make loans to your government when you are never transparent and accountable. All this is about to change because we have every reason to believe in our country and common humanity beyond this next decade. All is not lost and even though your government came into this world to trample others under your feet before leaving the world stage, we know that it usually does not last forever. A new breed of Cameroonians is born and we are going to take back our country from foreign rule and exploitation aided and abetted by the government of President of Paul Biya.

Part Three

Your  Doctrine of Majority and Minority

Dear President Paul Biya

In all honesty, I believe that your government has taken advantage of us because of our background but it is not a weakness or a deficiency in human nature. They must realize that none of us ever asked to be defined as minority or may be belong to a class, which to some it should bar other Cameroonians from aspiring for public office as far as seeking the Presidency. The concept of minority is written and embedded into the Constitution for a reason. So you have violated the Constitution by undermining us. Therefore, it is sad that simultaneously you expect us to celebrate 50 years of dependence on foreign French Rule of oppression and exploitation with you. This is not a lie or slander.

The terms you have used like Independence, Nation, State and Sovereignty are all factored into the Constitution, which you enacted into law. This means they must be binding on other terms like President, Government, Parliament, Constitutional Council, Public Servants, Election Commission and We, the People. Therefore why is the French government dictating on us how we should run our government? You claim that we are victims of colonization but you and your government are part of the French unusual schemes against Cameroonians who seek their liberties. That has either forced thousands of Cameroonians into exile or forced many to be politically dead within the country. They either fear retaliation or have been victimized by your government as one of the most effective tools that the system uses against Cameroonians.So, why is the French perpetuating an oppressive system of government in Cameroon , which they would not allow in their own society?

Dear President Paul Biya

Since Cameroon became Independent on January Ist, 1960, you and your predecessor have dictated Governors, Divisional Officers and Government Delegates to all Regions of Cameroon including the North West Province of all. Your dictatorial actions have deprived us of the opportunity to seek public office in these regions in order to participate in nation-building and the promotion of the development of our people. You want us to participate on your own terms without a window of opportunity for diversity, yet this is who we are.

Today, you and the French continue to use our people as political pawns to suit your aims. I want you to know that I am standing up to defend our inalienable and sacred rights conferred upon us by the Constitution of Cameroon. Unfortunately, in your New Year's message to the Nation and witnessed by the Diaspora, you continued to flagrantly violate the Constitution and the Rule of law. This is what you said;

"Democracy however also means protecting public funds. That is why we started waging a merciless war against corruption...”

But you and your government have not declared your assets according to Article 66 of the Constitution, which was designed with the intent to protect public funds. If you and your government have failed to respect this article then your actions are simply undemocratic and unacceptable.

Dear President Paul Biya

You also said;

“I also seize this opportunity to denounce systematic contestation by minority of our compatriots who readily resort to lie-telling and slander. Undoubtedly, they would rather our country plunged into all forms of chaos for them to achieve their aims"

I have not readily resort to lie telling and slander as regards my freedom to expression of our concerns against you and your government. Every statement and comment was well thought out based on facts and circumstantial evidence. Those who have been lie-telling and slandering you are members of your own CPDM Party on political asylum in the Diaspora. They slandered you with false claims that they were persecuted by your government. As a result, the US officials granted them political asylum to enable them become permanent residents and citizens. As if that was not enough they have been sneaking themselves into Cameroon again and hanging out with members of your government. It hurts to know that people who are loyal to your system for selfish reasons would misrepresent and use tricks to usurp the place of Cameroonians who are truly oppressed.

After they have been granted asylum and empowered to freedom, they intentionally become stumbling blocks on the path of other Cameroonians and would do anything to obstruct any endeavor to free others. Those who are in the Diaspora and staying in touch with your government as you confirmed aid and abet your system of dictatorship. They are out because President Paul Biya, the CPDM regime and French government are orchestrating a system in Cameroon that is not free. Consequently, the only plausible explanation, based on empirical evidence, is they had to quit the country to search for freedom (safety, security, opportunity, peace, happiness and prosperity) elsewhere. These are some of your children, relatives and people who are loyal to your government or Party. I always thought that they would be honest and true to themselves in order to put Cameroon on the fast track to freedom.

Conversely, there is a cream of Cameroonians in the Diaspora who are dying to free and change Cameroon . These are Cameroonians who fled into exile but have been inspired, determined and propelled to start a movement to change the political system in Cameroon . I wanted to paint this accurate picture to you so that when you speak about Cameroonians in the diaspora you must realize that there are two schools of thought. We are the minority you referred to but we count since we have rather become stepping-stones for freedom and change. It is needless defending the system when you know it is far from being free and democratic. You ought to be concerned about these your supporters who go about slandering those of us who want the best for all other Cameroonians.

Some bank officials of your government have been issuing fake bank accounts to Pro-CPDM Cameroonians to enable them obtain visas and travel to overseas. These bogus bank statements are traded for about 4.000.00 dollars. In order words, they are trading in human beings, which are called human trafficking. These are problems worth investigating.

Some top officials of your government who have not declared their assets have huge investments overseas including yourself in French Banks and Swiss Banks. You have not declared your assets according to article 66. All these are not lie-telling and slander.
I will appreciate if you know that these are serious crimes, which have resulted into the imprisonment of many Americans and others in the Diaspora. It will not be fair if some members of your government and political Party commit similar crimes and not held accountable.

If the system in Cameroon was free you would not have your majority of Pro-CPDM Cameroonians on political asylum in the diaspora especially within the United States . Since you President Paul Biya, the PCC officials, the CPDM – USA and the supporters of PCC in the majority within the USA have accused me of lying that I suffered persecution in Cameroon , I will like the United States government, who granted me asylum to investigate this matter. I will like the Congress and Supreme Court of US to probe into these political asylum cases of Cameroonians because you need to know the truth since you claim that I resort to lie-telling and slander.

I hope that you and your government will cooperate in the investigation and hearings when the time comes. I have always told the truth to everyone about how we have suffered under your government, and how they have pursued us, retaliated against any person who associated with us in spite of the fact that we left the country. I have had my share of pain and suffering in life but I am not angry. All you see is a strong passion for justice for myself and for all other people who deserve to be treated with dignity.

Dear President Paul Biya

When you took the oath of office, you swore to uphold the Constitution, God being your helper. Unfortunately, you have failed to hold your government and Parliament accountable, and they too have failed to hold you accountable per the Constitution and the Rule of Law. The reason is simple; all of you are now birds of the same feather because you have all broken the laws thereby evoking the notion of unconstitutional, illegal and criminal majority of the CPDM Party and regime. They have been some randoms acts of retaliation, which you have carried out against particular individuals who have not satisfied you as an individual. There are no bases for your actions against them because everybody knows that you have been settling personal scores with people. In other words  power is being abused by your government.

It is very disappointing that as President you would dismiss people like us standing up for justice and freedom as "minority of our compatriots". Immediately, I read the charge about " lie-telling and slander" from you, I decided to look at the Constitution in order to be sure that we have not been acting unconstitutionally and against the Rule of law. This is what I found out according to law No. 96-06 of January 1996 to amend the Constitution of 2, June 1972 deliberated and adopted by your National Assembly.

         "The President of the Republic hereby enacts the law set out below:

                                              CONSTITUTION

                          of the Republic of Cameroon

                                              PREAMBLE

                                    We, the people of Cameroon ...

Declare that human person, without distinction as to race, religion, sex or belief, possesses inalienable and sacred rights;

-The State shall ensure the protection of minorities and shall preserve the rights of indegenous populations in accordance with the law;
-Freedom and Security shall be guaranteed to each individual, subject to respect for the rights of others and higher interest of the State;”

In another respect, you have neither dissolved your Parliament nor have they taken the bull by the horns and impeached you. All of you intentionally engaged in a criminal conspiracy and treason against the State of Cameroon and the people by flagrantly violating our Constitution with no conscience. Therefore, as a voice for the constituted, legal and good conduct minority our charges against you and your government are not “Lies-telling and slander”.  They are well founded because according to the Constitution the President of the Republic has violated the following;

Articles 5

“He shall ensure respect for the Constitution

“He shall through arbitration ensure proper functioning of public authorities”

For instance Article 47 (2) one of the ways to ensure proper functioning of public authorities and all of you have failed to leave up to expectation.

Article 20, 21,22,23,24 and 36 The Senate and Functions of Senators in relationship with the President and Parliament.

“The Senate shall represent the regional and local authorities…”

 Dear President Paul Biya

You are inviting people to play their own role to make Cameroon a better place but here is the problem, can your government and Constitutional Council explain to us why you have not enforced the Articles of the Constitution pertaining to the Senate? We don’t have a Senate. This is a fact. It is not lies-telling and slander by minority compatriots contesting. It is inconceivable that you folks would have the audacity to mislead us by inserting things into the Constitution, which do not exist in reality. If you are doing this against educated citizens like us then just imagine the fate of millions who do not have the kind of enlightenment and knowledge we have.

They are the people you call your majority. They don’t know that your Government is taking advantage of them intentionally. In fact, I even believe that your government is liable of a crime because you are not supposed to withhold information from citizens if they are entitled to. If you were truly public servants you would not take citizens education for granted. It is very disturbing and this is the system, which we are determined to change. This is one of the main reasons why my grand parents and parents did not go to school but were bent under the weight of dictatorship to ensure that I had my own fair share of education of heard and heart.

Dear President Paul Biya

It is very true that when you emerged as President of Cameroon, President Ahmadou Ahidjo staged a military coup d’etat in 1984 with the intend to seize power again. By the stroke of luck, the military coup was foiled and your life spared. Even though your life as President was saved still thousands of innocent people lost their lives. Why did you not learn from those experiences and quit from power voluntarily sooner than later? I am surprised that your supporters are trying to make you President for life in a Republic because only a Queen or King rules a monarchy for life. Cameroon is a Republic and they will be violating the Constitution of that same Republic as follows;

(1)     The United Republic of Cameroon shall, with effect from the date of entry into force of this law, be known as Republic of Cameroon (Law No 84-1 OF February 1984)
(2)     The Republic of Cameroon shall be decentralized unitary State”

The point I am making is if they make you Life President, which means you will most likely hand over to your Son like Omar Bongo of Gabon and Eyadema of Togo did to their sons, then you and France will be indirectly turning a Republic into a Monarchy or Kingdom in gross violation of the Constitution of Cameroon, International Laws and Treaties, which you have ratified. I understand that Fons and Chiefs govern our Cameroon traditional institutions like Mankon, Bafut, Bambui, Bambili, Santa, Ebolowa, Sagmalima, Meta, Bakwerie, Bassa, Ewondo Bamileke, Betis and Oroko.These institutions existed before the Germans, French and British colonized Cameroon. Those majority Cameroonians who are fabricating motions of support like cookies may be charged with treason. Your government has the moral and legal obligation to ensure that they know the boundaries set forth for everyone by the Constitution. We are sick and tired of unconstitutional Motions of Support. They must respect the law of nature.

Dear President Paul Biya

Since your Party is also established within the United States, your supporters ought to have learned from the American political system like one of the most celebrated French Thinkers of the 17th century Alexis de Tocqueville. He made several voyages from France to North America to study the American Prison system but his mission changed when he had an epiphany. Michael Novak said this about him in his book The Universal Hunger for Liberty, Why the Clash of Civilization is Inevitable.

“Returning to France, Tocqueville discovered that what he had learned about American prisons was the leasting interesting part of what he had observed. He wrote that Providence had raised up in America a new model of self-governance – of liberty and equality- that was bound to sweep Europe, and indeed the rest of the world. He felt an obligation to try to understand what was coming and to prepare his fellow Europeans for it especially the French of course most of all. What constituted this new model? What were its principles and preconditions? What were its weaknesses and its likely fate?”

Dear President Paul Biya

Many of you studied in Europe especially France, Britain and Germany, and in North America ( Canada and United States).Did you not see something good about the political systems in these countries? If Alexis de Tocqueville was a good man then why has the French government misled you? The French Ambassador to the USA will testify that they were inspired by the American system from good citizens like Tocqueville.

Your government intruded into the crisis we had with the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) over Church Reformation between 1989 and 1999. They used your dictatorship and corrupt tyranny, and suppressed our rights to free speech and fair hearing. Your government harassed, intimidated and threatened innocent Christians who wanted to see the Church reformed for the right reasons. All these were in gross violation of the Constitution of Cameroon and the spiritual teachings of the PCC.I would like you to know that the PCC has a Constitution, which was binding on the PCC officials and us. The PCC officials refused to dialogue and also refused to give me an opportunity to appear before a Church council to defend the vision I had written down as some 100 theses. All of you within CPDM regime and Parliament acted unconstitutionally by intervening into the situation in favor of the PCC officials. This led to one of the worst miscarriages of justice by the corrupt Judges of your judiciary system.

I want to draw your attention to our inalienable and sacred rights enshrined into the Constitution of Cameroon. In the Preamble of the Constitution backed by Article 65 it is written;

“Affirm our attachment to the fundamental freedoms enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Charter of the United Nations and The African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights, and all duly ratified international conventions relating thereto, in particular, to the following principles:

The law shall ensure the right of every person to a fair hearing before the courts;
No person shall be harassed on grounds of his origin, religious, philosophical or political opinions or beliefs, subject to respect for public policy;
The State shall be secular .The neutrality and independence of the State in respect of all religions shall be guaranteed”

The Freedom of communication, of expression, of the press, of assembly, of association...”

Publishing 100 theses and speaking truth to the Church was my right to freedom to communication and of expression regardless of how the PCC officials and their surrogates viewed or perceived me till this day. They violated us. We were persecuted by the PCC Synod and CPDM regime. CPDM supporters assaulted me. It is not lie-telling and slander. As President you were supposed to respect the Constitution and hold those who broke the law and violated us accountable.

Dear President Paul Biya

The Constitution of Cameroon does not preclude us as a minority from being President of Cameroon. Before I had the audacity to declare my intentions to take over from you and lead Transitional Government, I had taken into consideration the Constitution as well as the problems of Cameroon within a global economic and financial crisis. Democracy can only thrive under the rule of law and a system of government that is representative of the people. It is the only accurate means through, which we can guarantee the liberty, fraternity, justice and progress of one another.

The least things that I have studied about America is slavery and racism and of course, I know there were very tragic and painful. But the most I have learned is the people called the Founding Fathers and the moral transformers during the Civil Rights Movement like the Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr.I just learned from President Obama that minority people are also good enough to be President. In your speech, you referred to me as minority. It is unacceptable and unconstitutional.

I am minority raised by my parents, aunts and uncles and like most Cameroonians in my shoes, we are good enough to ask questions to our government when we do not understand. I have noticed a kind stereotype mind set by some people who Judge others based on their so called class. They think that when one is born into their perceived peasant class they are condemned to die. They always want to know who is my father and mother! Where do you come from and which school did you go? They ask questions, which show their ignorance of the Constitution.

If they do not know the Constitution then you and your government have been misleading them through negative propaganda. I strongly urge your government to make the Constitution like the Bible available to all Cameroonians starting from elementary schools to Higher and Professional Institutions, and public places. It is important to clear the kind of ignorance that is destroying the nation because ignorance is not pardonable. Is the Bible and other religious literature is easily made available to all Cameroonians Christians then why not the Constitution of the Nation?

Therefore, you must agree with me that although I am a minority, I must be protected by the above statues and the Constitution as a whole. The problems affecting Cameroon is not a war between majority against minority. I know your government will like to make it that way. The question before God and humanity is whether those who consider themselves in the majority have the slightest understanding of the principles, which validate our common humanity and gives everyone the right to life? We must always be judged by the content of our character as Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr said and not by our tribe or class. I must not be judged on the bases of my background, minority status and class origin. These are some of the stereotypes, which stand in the way of civilization and our common humanity. The moment that we are all judged by our abilities and potentials toward nation building the word will change forever.

In fact, as a minority we are on the right side of history because this is about the rule of law. I do not care whether you are representing the majority, as it seems because all of you are on the wrong side of history due to the fact that you have violated the Constitution of our nation. In this case where majority is absolutely wrong, all of you must take responsibility before humanity and step down. It has increasingly become clear to me and my fellow patriotic Cameroonians that the human race is one complex family governed by universal principles and natural laws. Your government is on their own with their lack of knowledge of how important it is for us to treat everyone the way they should be treated. At the core of our existence as human beings, there is a longing for liberty to, which everyone is entitled whether black or white, majority or minority. So they should not act as if a minority is not supposed to have inalienable and sacred rights.

If you are the majority but make bad decisions and choices, which contravene established laws both domestic and foreign then it is your fault. Mindful of all these inappropriate and treasonable actions of  your government, I urge you to resign and hand over to us to form the Transitional Government. We are not an opposition as usual. Indeed, we are an alternative force to reckon with as a new breed of Cameroonians convinced about our common destiny and the resolve to build a new Cameroon for all. We are the emerging bulldozers endowed with a different kind of energy you have never seen before. Our ideas are great. Our vision is very bold and clear. Our commitment to take over from your government and France is driven by the ideas of some of the greatest French Thinkers during the French Revolution of 17th Century who shaped the current French system of government.

 Dear President Paul Biya

While the political activism of the minority is making you unsettled, what happened that we were reduced to a minority? I believe that had we remained a Federal Republic of Cameroon you and the French Government would not have problems with me /us. A Federal form of government is one of the best systems of government that is working successfully in countries like Switzerland , France , Germany , United States and Nigeria So, why would you and France instead abolish that of Cameroon ? Its abolition happened when I was still too young but today we are now grown up. We cannot understand how instead of progressing like other Federal systems, you and the French Government would cynically take us back into the 16th century systems of dictatorship and tyranny.

Therefore, the so call National Unity is not only an empty word but also a travesty of unification and reunification.

We shall overcome and God's will, will be done

Yours fellow Citizen in anticipation of your response to my concerns.
