CHILDREN OF OPPRESSORS, DICTATORS AND TYRANTS NEVER GET IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OPPRESSED

Children of Oppressors, dictators and tyrants never get it because they have never been oppressed

The theory of relativity works in the case of Libya and Cameroon. Every person speaks from their relative or vantage point of view and are entitled to make their case  as forcefully as they can!Yet, the truth will never be buried especially when it is the truth , nothing but the whole truth. Most writers and reporters around the world like to cast shadows of doubt on any Western led action in Africa but hardly do not really give consideration to us African people who are fighting for freedom and democracy as a result of the bad behavior of exponents of sovereignty.I fight from a relative standpoint but most importantly, everytrhing boils down to the facts and truth. Did you use your public office to oppress anyone? Did you use your position of power to violate the human dignity of anyone even though simulataneously you built hospitals, schools and developed a good road system?

Only people who are oppressed and have suffered injustice know where the shoe of oppression and injustice  pinches. Of course, there are thousands of Cameroonians and Africans around the world who have never  experienced any human rights violation or dealt with persecution and retaliation for their first amendment rights. They were born with either silver spoons or golden spoons in their mouths back in the continent. After Grammar School and even High School, their parents flew them  to overseas universities and colleges. Their parents paid their full tuition, bought them a house as well as a car with ill-gotten wealth. While all these is taking place, millions of Cameroonians are deprived and dehumanized by unscrupolous and greedy "political animals".

These  Cameroonians and Africans who have no experience of injustice, arrest and violations of their sacred and inalienable rights look at things from their subjective standpoint. They rant like parrots because they have no knowledge and understanding of what is at stake with corrupt tyranny and dictatorship on our people. For the rest of us who have a just cause, we stand  together with an undivided attention to continue with the rallying cry for justice to prevail where there is  injustice, for freedom to reign where there is oppression and for life to prevail where there is murder, killings and massacre of unarmed civilians like the case in Cameroon in 2008.

The libyan rebels like the rebels of the French revolution of 1789 and the American revolution of 1776 have given us every reason to hope. Our hope is to see the dawn of a new era in our societies where the bell  freedom and democracy will ring and bring the echoes of peace and prosperity to the lives of our people. There is no room for dictators and tyrants again. We will fight till the end because we have equally lived with such bad people with no end in sight. We must dream of a new and better Africa that will be championed by the forces of our common humanity under the armpit of the universal principles of human dignity.

There is absolutely no excuse for any man or woman to dehumanize others. If any leader does not have a good heart  for their fellow human beings, then they should not have accepted a position of power to begin with. In fact, to take a position of leadership is a political contract between the governors and governed, which must be binding and once it is broken, change is expected to happen beneath any form of resistance. That is why we have opted for good governance and the rule of law informed by transparency and accountability in public service.

It is no surprise to me that the supporters and benefaciaries of injustice, corruption borne out of tyranny and dictatorship will be rallying together to project their own twisted notion about truth. I, Jonathan Awasom who has suffered under a tyranny and dictatorship and know  millions of my fellow Cameroonians who going through the same pain and suffering as I speak, will never agree with any African who had their bread buttered by the systems of oppression in Africa, Cameroon being  no exception.

It is no wonder that they are indeed exceedingly sumpathetic to people like President Paul Biya and  President Ghadaffi. They hide behind the so called Pan-Africanism and OAU to question the onslaught of NATO! If NATO is a bad idea so, too is corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. Which one should I embrace in my situation of powerless under tyranny and dictatorship? I ask an honest question and I want an answer or answers? If my own government  is against me/us then I am really not worthy of my society and where should I go? Do you know how many Cameroonians are trapped like bees in a bottle by Cameroon political animals? So, to have left my country Cameroon to seek asylum overseas is a good thing? No, it is not.

The truth is when we cry out at the top of our voices in our countries, all dictators usually respond with a heavy and brutal crack down! Most people have perished without their voices or stories told because they lack the means compared to the dictators who possess almost every means necessary to blindfold the world that they are good afterall. Yes, it is understandable and common place  for the supporters of brutal dictators to quickly paint a glamorous picture of their Masters in order to derail the debate about their merits and demerits. What I am saying is every dictator can make a very compelling claim about their good deeds. This happened lately when the brutal CPDM regime of Cameroon paid one of the mainstream media within the United States to carry out ads about their good deeds. In fact, it read as follows;

" Cameroon is a model of peace and stability in West Africa..."

I mean I was literarily very frustrated because I did not have the resources to counter their drunken allegations. This was indeed a brainwashing , which was precipitated because of the unprecedented awareness about corruption, human rights violation and crimes against humanity  I had raised against the CPDM regime since 2009. Now, look at this case. I lack the kind of resources and means the CPDM govern have to make my case.

Although I do my  utmost best for His Highest, still, through  negative propaganda most dictators and tyrannts in Africa have succeeded to manipulate the world. However, this was only in the past, which explains why the supporters of President Paul Biya living within the United States have a unique vocation/mission to stop me at all cost. They are heavily paid by the regime who have employed all sorts of corrupt and divisive means to dismantle any coalition that could cause the downfall of the system. In spite of all these one has been resilient.

If Libya was one of the riches oil countries, well, it is logical that the people and Africa should benefit from it to a certain extent. But is that why he should be President for life and to eventually hand over to his sons? Good leaders do not stay in power for too long. They are always anxious to serve a limited term and to retire. How some Africans cling to power is a myth that is being unraveled today. So, why was Ghadaffi trying to hide behind the notion of sovereignty to avoid the important question of the day?

Mubarak of egypt  heeded to the global outcry and stepped down
Ali of Tunisha did same and apparently escaped. But others chose to hang on to fight back even when they know it would be unacceptable. Here we have a man who has stayed in power for 42 years and who during the 42 years he has killed many innocent people just to keep the statusquo. Now, the libyan people decided that it was time for him to go .He should have listened if he loved libya and the people.

Is the presidency of any country someone'e private property?
Is a country own by one family ?Those who make these arguments about a certain truth must also know that those of us who have suffered under dictators and also know families who have suffered and their voices drown will never condone with injustice and evil.If a dictator proves himself  a very brutal one ,which is measured by his ruthless resistance, well, what other alternative is left? Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.Ghadaffi like Mubarak was asked to step down for the sake of the people if Libya but he refused. Why did he refused?

He refused because he was looking down on the few libyans who have been crying for freedom and demoacracy. This is the samething that has been happening to Jonathan Awasom. We have asked President Paul Biya to step down! He and his CPDM regime are acting like they are not hearing our appeal for him to go away! Very soon when he will be attacked by soldiers of freedom, his supporters all over the world will start manipulating the place with their own concept of truth.

The only truth in this case is the oppressed and victims of dictators and as a victim, I relate with the libyan people who badly wanted Ghadaffi out and by the same token and spirit we want President Paul Biya of Cameroon to leave. No matter how much good anysingle human being can perform in this world, it is never a license to commit crimes or violate the human rights of others.

We are all born to enjoy life and anyone who stands in the way of their fellow human beings must be on the wrongside of history. Those who helped to plant dictators and tyrants on our soil must also uproot them. This is pure and simple , and any dictator who is serving at the pleasure of their foreign masters must reconsider their behavior. As for us, Cameroonians we do not want Paul Biya again. Enough is enough and to read more about this call for Paul Biya to step down, please, download the 2010 memo on this site because if you ask me to choose between NATO and the dictatorship and tyranny of Paul Biya, i will choose NATO. Injustice against our people must be condemned and those responsible must stop. Please, click on this site and download the memo calling on Paul Biya of Cameroon to step  down.
