THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC LIFE: THE CASE OF CAMEROONIANS

The Marriage between Private matter and Public Matter

Dear  Rexon Nting (Ph.D) and Msjoe Evelyn( M.A)

Are you some of the people who have been silent over the murder of  Cameroon First Lady Jean-Irene Biya by her Husband Son Excellence ( H.E) Paul Biya because it is a "private matter"?

I see what you people really mean by pursuit of life ,liberty and happiness as an individual right, which to you people is the right to violate, abuse and kill others in private and then keep living in public because the two are not interconnected! This is pure ignorance.Sorry, it does not pass the test of today's world of transparency and acountability

In what planet are you people  living in , right now Mr Dr Rexon Nting? Why is it that you get to be so subjective when your politics is at stake? Do you people  have any sense of moral compass at all, Rexon Nting? I think you're indeed very confused with yourself. You need to really think twice about your morales. Look at what you have written below

We cannot succeed in building a virtuous and free society by hiding skeletons in the cupboard whether there are in private or public. If other societies are inclined to x-raying what transpires in both private and public lives of public personalities, then we, Cameroonians should not be an exception to the rule.

I have 4 examples , with ,which to buttress this concept but first of all why did the FBI go right into the home of a US Congressman to discover that he hid about 100.000.00 dollars inside his refrigerator like Chicken? Why did  they not search only his office as a public matter and leave his home alone as a private matter?

Look at what you have written below

"Larry, The type of language you've used below to describe Bedzigui - esspecially talking publicly about his relationship with a certain girlfriend that led him to jail (whether right or wrong) - is not good. Those sort of problems are private matters that should never be brought into a public forum" Rexon Nting (Ph.D)

You people are driven to twist the truth and sometimes without even the slightest reservation and respect for the societies in , which you are blessed because of transparency and accountability. One must realize that some of you are on the wrongside of History. My comments are not necessarily in relation with what Larry has said about Bedzegui as I am about to weigh in on the flawed principle, upon you and Msjoe have unethically  based your fallacies.

So, we should not talk about Paul Biya and the murder of his first wife, First Lady Jean-Irene Biya in public because it was a private matter? Why is it that some of you like to gamble like this with serious moral issues of our time affecting us Cameroonians and Africans? You are living in soceities that are becoming virtuous and free because what people do in private cannot  be concealed from the public because of their position of power and infleunce. This means you  people are outside of the mainstream of proper behavior for politicians and others who hold public offices.

Whatever is their comportment in private, it is known that it affects their public affairs to the extent, which there is no separation of the private from the public in matters of performance, efficiency and exemplary conduct as role models. Leaders are expected by the public offices to go the extra-mile to carry themselves with integrity because many young people  do look up to them by virtue of their offices.

Does this explain to you without any logic why ;

Why did TigerWood's extra-marital affairs as a private matter encroached upon is public career as a Golf legend? Why did the world not simply ignore the matter and say that only him and his wife should deal with it in private?

Former IMF, Chief DSK just lost his job because of your so called "private matters".

Former New York Congressman just resigned and lost his job because of what you call, " those sort of private matters should never be brought into a public forum"
President Bill Clinton had sex with Monica Lewinsky as a Private matter, right? Then why did it become a public matter until he was almost impeached and removed from the White House?

It is not a bad idea to hold people accountable in public. The laws of politics encourage this but public accountability does not have to end up with condemnation if people are repentant(Rehabilitation is one way to repent). The recent sex scandal involving New York Congress man is a clear testimony to the fact that there is nothing like private life for people who hold public offices. Is that clear to you both?

Therefore , the irrational and emotional driven reaction of Rexon Nting and Msjoe against the comments of Mr Larry Eyong  are unethical and inconsistent. What should be taken into consideration is the veracity of the accusations he has made and the severity because a mere argument or disagreement with women in America can land someone in jail for domestic violence.

Cameroonian women and perhaps most African women have been indoctrinated within the United States by other experienced women and perhaps their concubines  that domestic violence accusations /case always favor women. Sometimes police does not even listen to the story of the male accused  of perpetrating violence of any sort.

This has made domestic violence ( DV)  to become a slippery slop for most men who are at the mercy of the system. It suffices for any woman to hit her boy friend or husband and then call 911. Granted the obscurity of this issue, one must be exremely slow to pass any judgment on the African male who might have been convicted of domestic violence and locked up ! If they have taken the anger management as stipulated by law and rehabilitated in society, then we have to Judge the new behavior.

It is equally true that there are some cases where some primitive men still carry with them the old mentality from Africa into this virtuous and free society. Most women who were abused while back in Cameroon have taken advantage of the system here in America to get out of the portracted relationship of abuse ,which they have endured since they were in Cameroon.

These category of victims found emancipation in America where these violent men cannot hit their spouses and get away with or cheat with women as they like. Women and men who suffer domestic violence and sometimes leads to homocide are sure to benefit from the Justice system with the help of Police and advocacy organizations.

Consequently, I cannot rush  to establish that someone who was locked  up by his girl friend was truly violent because most girl friends have a way to manipulate and exploit their victims. If it was true, then it is appropriate to question that in public.

Thanks

Hello Larry, Good Morning O

Arrrrrrrrh, from the bright light unfolding and coming through the windows, you are  betraying your upbringing and woefully so. My coffee is brewing and I am shaking my head:

In what planet are you people  living in , right now Mr Dr Rexon Nting? Why is it that you're get to be so subjective when your politics is at stake?

Do you people  have any sense of moral compass at all, Rexon Nting? I think you're indeed very confused with yourself. You need to really think twice about your morales. Look at what you have written below

"Larry, The type of language you've used below to describe Bedzigui - esspecially talking publicly about his relationship with a certain girlfriend that led him to jail (whether right or wrong) - is not good. Those sort of problems are private matters that should never be brought into a public forum" Rexon NtingLarry, those who are genuinely committed to their own public cause with a healthy private life have little or no stomach to store and churn crap about other people's lives. Balanced people disagree at the instant of the issue. One may err in doing so by going overboard. It is up to anyone with his/her God to self-correct or not. When people with a sense of public purpose experience reoccurring source of un-gainful and irrelevant strife, they do not have to deal with it. Delete or block takes care of it. A time-proven rule for sure.

Why?

There is no enforced community on air or even on land. Some are gifted in what they choose to do  and some drift and dart from issue to issue, describing what they don't like about what others are doing or shouldn't be doing. Another name for public nuisance is baptized when someone is anti this or that because of who is doing it; not because the position is inherently wrong and  they cannot substantiate their cringe with any substance.  Arrrrrh. People may manifest their public ideals without further clearance from a crowing nyet, no, nay sect.

Larry, do not cheat yourself from your destiny (if you have found it) by focusing on others or through wanton interference that has nary a thing to do with the issue at hand. And we are on public leadership and outcomes. But that is only one of Gardner's concept of multiple intelligence. I am not so sure which one you are displaying here because it will not pass the test of interpersonal skills that project socio-emotional know-how,  which is indispensable for persuasive and empathetic roles.

What you are doing comes across like one of those who used to insult anyone in the  village as a ruffian, and beat up other kids who appear cleaner. Anyone can get a passport to America. On that day of the interview, only one set of clean clothes is needed.

But Larry,  that is not you!

Self-defense is okay. But what did Mr. Bedzugui do to you? He offered his opinions on the priority of dual citizenship vs. challenging Biya's tenureship.  This has nothing to do with giving women rose flowers or beating them otherwise. Go to the next Anglophone movement and  when it is your turn to speak. Say: Mr. Bedzigui was jailed in America because of girlfriend issues. Your astute compatriots would wonder whether you have been eating too much McDonald, using eru for salad, and you are now a moonlighting peeping Tom as a Jehovah witness abroad. So? To liberate VIKUMA or reclaim Afu-Akom with the bombshell? The misaligned blustering is my point. You would be wasting the time of well-meaning people in the assembly with such churlish show of indignation. Peddler of salacious funk will squirm and squeak. But at the end of the day, how does that itch forward any achievable agenda of your movement?

It is not as if you are a physically ugly person because that may also induce some blistering psychosis, which psychiatrists call projection. One may look at him/herself and feel so bad, mishandle the computer, and get into debates with the expressed purpose of inflicting pain because ugliness is what he/she sees. But how can you explain how a handsome and well brought up person like you would do this sort of thing?

Not handling transition from poverty in a levelheaded manner is also a source of aberrancy  because people  either want to shout from the rooftop and there is a nagging need to bring down those whom they think enjoyed while they were deprived and never dreamt of even aero-plane. But again, this is not you.

Lack of love  from early orientation can turn some into public monsters. But you were not an unloved child left to fend for himself - emotionally and materially. Your parents gave you more values, too!

So Larry, what is wrong? If you cannot do this Southern Cameroon thing, has it become a sore loop on a  perpetual docket? Beti people? Do you know that Bayangi people are marrying Betis? So how can you have a neat and purified divide by being profusely foul about it?

My friend, pursue your drive with your God-given (nature) and/or cultivated skills (nurture).  The  fruit of Larry's goal rides on what Larry is doing; not what A,B, C is doing that Larry does not like or whom Larry loves to dislike or hate.

Best regards,
MsJoe

There you go again Rexon. How difficult is it for you to accept that it is right for anyone in public glare to come clean or show evidence of rehab after committing a crime. In Cameroon style politics, that is inadmissible. But with your experience, living in the west, I expected you to quickly liaise your thinking with the numerous private scandals that most often lead to resignations  for the good of the public. Occasionally the odd allegation may crop up. But not when someone has actually served a jail term for a crime and some of you want us to turn a blind eye. Wrong! I was just about raising my thumbs up to this new angel of a Celestin Bedzigui not knowing that he had skeletons in the closet. Then this revelation which I think you should really commend Larry for bringing it to our attention. Instead you elect to castigate him for divulging info which I think is of public interest

Thanks Larry for this very important disclosure. All those with skeletons in the closet must come clean when seeking public office or putting themselve forward to public attention.

Larry, The type of language you've used below to describe Bedzigui - esspecially talking publicly about his relationship with a certain girlfriend that led him to jail (whether right or wrong) - is not good. Those sort of problems are private matters that should never be brought into a public forum. As an example, i have a friend now who is currently on bail for a marital offense that never was and without God's intervention, he can be sent to jail.  We must learn to draw a line betweeen what is good for public consumption and what is not. In addition, i would like to advise that Bedzigui might have made some mistakes during his previous political engagements, but we must learn to respect and judge him from his current stance rather than his past. Part of the characteristic of a good leader is to not only be able to accept our mistakes but to be able to use it to make adjustments and continue on towards our original vision in fulfilling our goal. Bedzigui in my view is a fine gentleman with genuine interest in the development of Cameroon. He is not afraid of responsibilities and have taken steps even in the US towards continuing and achieving the vision that he set out to achieve in the beginning through different organisations - while recognising the mistakes he made. Ladies and Gentlemen:

I know Bidzigui as one of the tribalistic traitors of the 1990 Cameroonian revolution who sided with his Beti tribesman Biya to frustrate the SDF because it was a party of "Southern Cameroonians".

Since he came to the US and abused his girl-friend got jailed in Philadelphia and wangled his way to get papers, he has suddenly become some formidable opposition leader to the younger generation which does not know the chicanery of some of these Francophones who believe that they have a birthright to lord it over us.

When I see people like this gallivanting in the opposition , my Southern Cameroonian spin stiffens.
Fool me once you are a fool ...but fool me twice and I am the fool.

Those who take orders from Paris will not fool me again. I have seen the light

CAMEROON QUESTIONS; "WHY ARE CAMEROONIANS LIKE THIS?"

Dear Mr Emmanuel Ngang aka  FEN
"Why are Cameroonians Like this?"  FEN
Do you mean they are like spoiled tomatoes or like rotten eggs?
This is a profound moral question that cannot escape my attention because I was always waiting for this kind of question in order to underscore what I have said in different ways. We are our own worst enemies just as we can choose to be our own best friends and fellow country people with a collective sense of moral responsibility.Conventional  wisdom dictates that let a few bad ones not mean that everyone is the same.I trust that we still have a few good ones in our world today who are conscientiously driven for the greater good. Traveling the high moral road has never been a child's play.Yet, it must be a noble pursuit if we must preserve, restore and improve the lot of humanity.
We must continue to make sure that we differentiate good from evil, and truth from falsehood. This method is critical for our drive to live in world where the sacred and inalienable rights of all people are respected and granted. There are some Cameroonians who are heavily paid by the CPDM regime to distract other Cameroonians who are concentrating  to change Cameroon towards a virtuous and free society. So, we must identify those who have a hidden agenda in our midst and expose them as I have been doing so that we remain focused with the common dreams and aspirations we share together. Those who want to stand in the way must be made to know that we fear no evil.
Therefore, only a particular school of thought will act in certain ways against the rules and laws of nature. When we have criminals walking free within the civil society while some innocent people are locked up in prison, that poses a serious problem. When some murderers have been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole because they were charged with either second degree manslaughter and other 3 counts, why should other murderers like President Paul Biya of Cameroon be allowed by France, Britain and the United States to be walking free? This is a travesty of women rights as well and equal under law.
Yes, your concerns are legitimate. However, whose responsibility is it to correct a society, which is rotten morally and spiritually?  Why are Cameroonians like this? Why are foreigners inside Cameroon like this? Cameroon is a society that is rotten morally and spiritually to the core like a rotten tomatoe. Cameroonians sometimes are like the pungent ordour of a rotten egg placed at the corner of a room. Let us conduct this experiment and get to the bottom of this. Take an egg and slightly crack it open. Then, place it at the corner of your room and then make sure you are gone for at least week. After you returned, open the room and enjoy the experiment. Be sure that a pungent smell will throw off balance until you mask yourself before you will clean off the best. How will you do it? Open the windows, turn on the fan, use a theodorant/air refresher etc etc.
Cameroonians are like this because I am afraid there is a divine curse as a result of the fact that Cameroonians knew that the First Lady Jean Irene Biya was murdered by her husband Dictator Paul Biya  and yet refused to stand up for her.We may not realize how severe this sin is against God. We, Cameroonians have sin collectively because those who were supposed to render justice to First Lady Jean Irene Biya allowed their polluted conscience to be polluted again with money by Mr Paul Biya in order to cover up the murder of his wife.
I remember while riding in a Taxi  in Yaounde and some Yaounde people were talking about this matter. Behold, I yelled at them and said, Paul Biya is a murderer, he murdered his wife! Jesus Christ, those guys threatened me that I would be killed if I continue to say that "Le President a tue son epousse". I was just entering year two at the Protestant Faculty of Theology around 1992. Since that day, I kept my mouth quiet because I recieved the worst threat of my life.
I never ever opened my mouth anywhere to talk about it until now that I am within the US where I am free  like a bird to speak up even if I am living under the bridge or on a tree. In other words not every Cameroonian is like this or like that. Some people are like what they are because the world is trapped between good and evil. You have two forces fighting against each other. Although you may see people appear like human beings, some are angels while others are lucifer.
Cameroonians and Cameroon need some spiritual cleansing where there is a direct divine intervention to purify us from this sinful nature, then  change our hearts, transform our mentalities and reform our fears and denials  in order for us to live with a conscience. Can you imagine a President of a country sitting on his conscience when we, Cameroonians and members of the international diplomatic corps know that he murdered his wife?
This world has become something else. The whole question that why are Cameroonians like this is not really only about Cameroonians. Why are human beings like this? Why is Hilary Clinton and the State Department as well as other officials urging free and fair elections in Cameroon when they know that it is unrealitic? Why are people like this, Fen? Why are these Americans like this?
There is no way that the US intelligence, France Intelligence and British intelligence won't know that Paul Biya killed his wife, Jean Irene Biya. My question is why did they cover up the murder? Does is it mean that they conspired with Paul Biya to murder his wife because I refuse to have been ruled by a murderer.
Disagreements are different from vindictive undertakings. When villains attack, virtuous people must fight back. This is the rule or else they vice will rule over virtue. What Williams Shakespeare portrayed in most of his writings is that no matter how long it takes, virtue will always triumph over vice. We have lived this experience in many occasions through out history and this moment won't be an exception to the rule. Talk about a society where people disagree, I bet you I am right here within the United States. It is far complicated than you would imagine where sometimes you wonder if people even speak to one another.Yet, why is this society an enigma?
Society is likely to sink into moral and spiritual decadence because those of you who know the truth hardly speak up. Many of you are always afraid of persecution, retaliation or being disliked.Perhaps it  is the more reason why you choose to be neutral in most cases.
When you come back with a complaint, then who ought to have the moral responsibility to correct society, educate and change the primitive mentalities of some who are driven by stereotypes and prejudices of all sorts?  No society will prevail with mediocres getting away with mediocrity. When some of you tend to be nice in order to avoid the struggle for a virtuous and free society, well, don't expect what you have never contributed to happen.Unless good men and women rise up to defend the good, society can be doomed  with bad leaders like the case of Cameroon.
In the world of diversity, reality is blended with idealism and experienced through the dualistic concept of right or wrong. One cannot be right and wrong at the sametime. Either Paul Biya and his CPDM are right or they are wrong. This is where we are in life. Did Paul Biya Murder his wife or not? Either she was murdered or she was not murdered. The fact that she is not hear to tell her story we have to conclude unless proven otherwise that she was murdered or stranggled like Desdemonia in William Shakespeare's Othello. Either the members of the diplomatic bodies in Cameroon knew the truth or they don't know. If they knew and turned their eyes away, then, it was wrong. Now just to keep someone thinking outside of the box.
You either hate or love
You are either merciful or callous
You are either just or unjust
You either lie or speak the truth
You either be a peaceful man or man of war
You are either light or darkness
You are  either virtuous or vicious
You are either corrupt or incorruptible
You are either free or oppressed
You are either a dictator/tyrant or a democrat
You are either aids/hiv free or you are infected by aids/hiv
You are either kind or wicked
You are either nice or mean spirited
You are either married or single
You are either for God or against God
You are either a Cameroonian or not
You are either a leader or tyrant
You are either transparent or opague
And the list can go on and on . If you argue that we must always look for the middle ground in all these justapositions of dualism, I won't say no because it is commonsense that realism and dualism are too extreme requiring a meddleground. Now, Fen, what is our definition of middle ground and how does it look like to the extent, which we can create a meaningful reality that will enhance our common good through good governance and the rule of law?
Thank you sincerely for your concern because it has allowed me the opportunity to explore.

THE "CANDID CASE": YES, COLONIZATION MUST BE KNOWN AS A SEVERE HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE AGAINST CAMEROONIANS

"Correct Rev. People are free to become Ministers, Directors etc in the global world. All I know is that I do not have to answer to any La Republique appointed colonial person in Southern Cameroons. If the colonial authority does not accept what I do, then they can simply pack up and leave. If they do not want to leave but insist on some kind of fraudulent laws that "protects" the public and themselves, well, there'd be little reason for us to keep them there except to drive them out"                                                                                           Dr Louis Mbua

Colonization is a severe human rights issue that must be addressed immediately

Thank you. Your concerns are legitimate. Colonization must be known as a severe human rights issue and must be dealt with accordingly. No human being should be a subject to others whereas we are all born with sacred and inalienable rights. In this matter of colonization , I believe that we are first class victims in the hands of the French , British and American Governments who have conspired with Dictator Paul Biya to colonize us. We should not be afraid to say it as it is because we all should have stakes in our society just as they do.

You know, American government and citizens ought to be very excited by the spirit that we have because we embody their ideals of free speech, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. If America continues to deal with dumb Cameroonians who just want to pretend around them for instantaneous gains, what will happen is, after a while, America will decline into a state of dummies. Dummies will invade America like aunts and they will not know  where to keep them. We, the very smart Africans are the kind of people that the world has been waiting for and this was very evident in the response I recieved from the White House during President George W. Bush 's administration and Presidency.

Why should France, Britain and America be more entitled to Cameroon than us Cameroonians? If they want good governance and the rule of law then they must be consistent in their foreign policies against dictators and their cohorts. This week end of 4th of July ,which marks the anniversary of the  declaration of American Independence should remind American citizens and Government about their story and journey. What is very remarkable about the declaration of independence in 1776 is the fact that the founders made their candid case known to the world. They did not have to hide and live under fear. They had to make sure the world knows that they were no longer in agreement with the insanity of the King of England, which is exactly what I have done since 2006.

The Cameroon Truth Commission  in the spirit of South African Truth Commission

The Cameroon Truth Commission like other Truth Commissions notably the one of South Africa  will be a good place to air all our grievances of the past and present. We definitely have issues of injustice, gross violations of our human rights, prejudices/stereotypes among ourselves Cameroonians like the sad experiences of other people with different ethnicities, complex racial and tribal origins.

So, we have to  explore all these together in ways that will benefit one another. In the past people thought that civil war was the best solution to their problems but when society is evolving, so, too are people. Do we always need to fight and kill each other before we change society? President Paul Biya also known as one of Africans longest serving dictators has already killed  and violated  enough Cameroonians with his corrupt and cruel  government. This must not happen again under our watch. He has committed serious crimes against humanity including the murder of his own first wife. That is why he wants to die in power because he believes that he has some Presidential immunity! Well, not when you commit a crime of felony.

As the world awaits the packaging of the Cameroon truth commission that will be factored into the transitional government, our advocacy  will never know any bounds. I am very certain about a virtuous and free Cameroon under a Federal System  because the international civil society has dealt with truth commissions before in the reconstruction processes and transitions of people to a new political system and government.Cameroon won't be an exception to the rule. However, all we are asking for is the support and cooperation of the International civil society and other bodies to enable us navigate this period peacefully and orderly for the good of everyone. Paul Biya and his government should confess their crimes, return our stolen monies, repent and be rehabilitated into the normal human society.

I believe that the world is taking great notice of our resilience and honesty. I do not want to pretend that all is well with my perception of the United States from where I am writing. Of course, if I did not admire and value the ideals and principles that propelled America to success, I won't be concerned about what is wrong with their involvement in Cameroon. Instead of living in fear, I chose to live by faith and with courage ,which is why I have spoken truth to power without fear or favor.

Prevention is better than cure, which is the reason why early intervention is appropriate. We are blessed already because of our gallant effort since time immemorial to underscore to the Cameroon government, our fellow Cameroonians, Africans as well as the International Civil Society  that history is on our side because we are taking full ownership of our societies.

The notion of entitlement in context. Do I have the right to something by birth and membership or not?

You are right. This reminds me about the notion of entitlement in context. When I filed a complaint against the CPDM regime to the US officials, I was particularly driven by the notion of entitlement. I felt strongly in my spirit that we are entitled to human and civil rights. Why should a small group of people work so hard only to keep our people down? So long as we are citizens of Cameroon by birth, residency and membership, we are entitled to a good government under the laws of our common humanity. The greatest feeling of entitlement I have ever had is the feeling of speaking up as a voice for those who can't speak up for themselves.

The laws, which  the people in America enjoy must not be different from the laws in Cameroon. As fellow human beings we are entitled to the universal human laws/principles.Once human beings have been freely given a sovereign territory by God to constitute a dwelling place for them , their  sibblings and generations to come, they must have some entitlement in that territory according to the expectations set forth in their constitution vis a vis their commitment to the territory, which becomes a country, nation or region. It is a travesty when people who were never born and raised in such societies are living off of the people while they are oppressed and dehumanized. I believe that countries ,which have been involved in Camneroon since I was born 41 years ago owe us some serious endemnities to the tune of 25 million dollars.

What are the natural minerals/resources, which God has endowed Cameroonians with? Why do we not know and who is supposed to account for the resources?

By law we ought to know what are  the natural resources and minerals of our country as well as their quality and quantity. Then we are also entitled to know ,which companies and corporations are exploiting these resources, how much  they are worth and how does the Cameroon government officials  manage these resources in ways that benefit indegenous people who are directly connected with these  resources. The horrible human condition in most parts of Cameroon point to an irresponsible government which has cynically legalized corruption till date as a means of escape from accountability. In spite of mounting pressures from international bodies, they still can't adjust their ways. Granted that corruption is endemic, we must ger rid of that system immediately.

We are entiled to know the assets of all Cameroon Government Officials at home and abroad according to article 66 of our constitution

We are also entitled to know their assets since they have access or exposed to the riches of our land. This argument is not outside of the realm of good governance and the rule of law espoused by World Justice Forum and many governments and organizations. If you go back to the manifestor I wrote for the freedom of Cameroon , which I also refer to as a virtuous and free society, you'll realize that this same argument was established. I am the last person on earth to be against foreign corporation's investments in Cameroon including but not limited to other sophisticated economic interests. However, they should not do business to the detriment of our people resulting to their human rights violations while they are only inclined to reporting what has happened. They also have a role to play and must participate in being part of the solution to the problems.

No President on this earth should impose Governors who are supposed to be elected by the people

No President on the face of this earth has the right to impose/dictate Governors, Government delegates, Divisional Officers, Commissioners and Commandants, Principals , Directors etc on our regions where we are supposed to be independent. The United States is one nation under God but the people are operating under a Federal System of government that allows them to fully enjoy their regions and the blessings that come with  them .Neither President Jimmy Carter, President Reanald Reagan through President Bush, President Bill Clinton , President Bush junior and now President Barack Obama could dare dictate Governors on Americans living within the 50 States.

The United States Government  officials and State Department must stand with us and not with dictators

Therefore, the United States Department ought to know by now that we' re not ready , yet for any free and fair elections in Cameroon. By their own public testimony about the tragic  human rights report of Cameroon, I believe they agree with us that the CPDM government is bad and really have a pungent smell. By being bad it means, it is obsolete and must therefore be changed, altered  or abolished so that the few good Cameroonians remaining  will reform the system. First of all, US OFFICIALS MUST STOP URGING CAMEROON GOVERNMENT TO ORGANIZE FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE WHAT IS A FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS. WE, CAMEROONIANS KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR US. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS IN CAMEROON UNDER DICTATOR PAUL BIYA WHO AND HIS GOVERNMENT ARE INCAPACITATED. EVEN SO US OFFICIALS HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THIS IN THE RECENT STATEMENTS OF MADAM HILARY CLINTON WHILE ON HER DIPLOMATIC MISSION TO AFRICA. READ HER STATEMENTS ON THIS SITE;

Clinton Tells African Despots To Quit

US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton has warned African despots to give up power or find themselves “on the wrong side of history,” The New York Times reported yesterday.Clinton, who addressed the African Union in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, said that African authoritarian governments ruled by aging despots were “no longer acceptable.”
“The status quo is broken,” she said yesterday. “The old ways of governing are no longer acceptable. It is time for leaders to leave with accountability, treat their people with dignity, respect their rights and deliver economic opportunity. And if they will not, then it is time for them to go,” said Clinton. Some of the longest serving dictators in Africa include Cameroon President, Paul Biya, 78. Biya took over from Ahmadou Ahijo in 1982 and might be standing for another election this year after 29 years in power.

The Time for Cameroonians to return to the drawing board has come

The time for Cameroonians to return to the drawing board has come. I know  that once upon a time the trilateral  talks failed but it was because Paul Biya and his CPDM regime were the ones presiding over it. The 24 months transitional government will not be entrusted into the hands of CPDM regime and government. So, we have to believe that our determination and commitment to truth will come to fruition. If Paul Biya  and his Parliamentarians, Ministers and Governors etc think that they have a case, then let him simply defend himself and his cohorts before a  Cameroon Truth Commission.
This goes to every other person who believes that they have a case with respect to all the accusations and charges we have plastered against them.

This sounds very idealistic, yet it is a measure of faith and conviction. If one does invest conviction and faith into a sacred cause like what we are embarking on , hardly do they achieve their goals in life. Nothing is impossible when God is involved. Many Cameroonians are increasingly conscious of the fact that we need to return to the drawing board where we can address all these issues in order to avoid another David and Goliath fight because God wins all the time. Professor Emmanuel Konde a renouned cameroonian Historian within the United States has repeatedly concurred with the idea for a transitional period for all of us Cameroonians to dialogue.

It won't be easy to remove Paul Biya but it will not be impossible.

We, know that it won't be easy to take Paul Biya out of power without  some struggle or fight but ultimately he has to go now. This is not politics as usual. The timing could not be more reassuring with the powerful www as a powerful communication tool for networking. Paul Biya falls under the class of dictators who are ruining the continent of Africa and protecting the interest of certain individuals in either France, Britain or America. We are not against their economic interest in Cameroon but whatever is the business of foreign corporations inside or through Cameroon, we want the human rights of Cameroonians to be protected so that they should live in dignity.

All Africans and the International civil society must stand up to support our cause  for truth and justice

All of us Cameroonians and Africans must stand up for ourn people who are at our mercy to ensure that Paul Biya is held accountable. All we want is the truth. What happened to Madam Jean-Irene Biya? Was she sick? What does her medical report say? If she was never sick ,then could she die abruptly when we have never heard that she was suffering from some health issues? Why did the international community turn a blind eye to such a homicide whereas they won't do so , right here in America? You see Paul Biya knows that they conspired and murdered his wife reason why they will prefer to die in power because they are afraid of prosecution! Well, the time has come for the truth and justice to prevail.

Cameroonians who knowingly have the intent to violate our constitution or who have collected bribes from the CPDM government to participate in fake elections will be liable.

We will also sue corrupt Presidential candidates for treachery, corruption and treason against our people. They know that the electoral process is fraudulent and yet intentionally misleading a few of Cameroonians to go and commit political suicide. They better study the constitution very well because we have already educated them to know that we are no longer in Paul Biya's 2004 era where everything was just Ok. After 2004, things began to change when we decided that it was time for Paul Biya to leave or go down in history as a villain!

So, those who are only fighting to enrich themselves at the expense of our people oppress should not think that we are going to be intimidated and frightened by some foreign dignitaries. Our world has changed so much to the extent ,which the rule of law speaks now than unproductive diplomacy. Foreign companies and corporate investments will be advised to stay clear of  Cameroon until we solve our problems. If they continue to intrude into our affairs, we will sue them in court following international and domestic laws.

The historic opportunity and rediscovery of Cameroon's promise and beautiful people

History has given us the historic opportunity to rediscover our country's promise and beautiful people who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Our resolve is unprecedented and we will never look back. We must expose injustice, greed and hypocrisy of corrupt men and women who have no vision for the common good except an agenda take their own share as they say.

We have to enforce the existing laws in order to freely assert ourselves in our regions.
As far as I am concerned Paul Biya, his CPDM Parliamentarians, Ministers and Governors have broken the law. Consequently, they are liable for public prosecution. Any domestic law or international law that can enable us to hold them accountable should be fully employed. By the same token, all those who have taken bribes from the CPDM government in the name of Presidential campaign funds are also corrupt as well as aiding and abetting evil. How can people who want to be President of a country not know the constitution of the country?

If they do not know the constitution in order to appreciate the unconstitutional practices of President Paul Biya and his government, then what sorts of leaders will such people become regardless of the capacity? The truth is we have to be very serious and keep pursuing justice for our people. Those who have decided to be on  the side of injustice and the oppression of our people are free to do so but so long as we have some laws in place , those laws must be enforced. We will mobilize the international bodies beyond France, Britain and America to understand our concerns. We must come back to the drawing board to chart a new course for our country and people. All stakeholders of Cameroon must be part of the deconstruction and reconstruction of Cameroon to reflect the common dreams and aspirations of one another

God Bless those who are resilient and focused

Thank you all, Pass it on

Correct Rev. People are free to become Ministers, Directors etc in the global world. All I know is that I do not have to answer to any La Republique appointed colonial person in Southern Cameroons. If the colonial authority does not accept what I do, then they can simply pack up and leave. If they do not want to leave but insist on some kind of fraudulent laws that "protects" the public and themselves, well, there'd be little reason for us to keep them there save to drive them out.

If I arrive at Tiko, Buea or Victoria etc. I will not answer to any La Republique authority. I will do what I want and what is right within SC and international law pertaining to universal human rights.

If the colonial authority does not accept what I do, then they can simply pack up and leave. If they do not want to leave but insist on some kind of fraudulent laws that "protects" the public and themselves, well, there'd be little reason for us to keep them there save to drive them out.

I am not going to sit there waiting for an UNKNOWN from who-knows-where to tell me how to climb up the mountain or build a house or start a farm or receive a salary or collect my taxes into a black hole. I will REFUSE to accept this folly from dictators.

As far as I know, no SC person has ever appointed any authority in LRC.

Any person who is appointed by LRC and accepts the position is his/her own business. I have nothing to do with such an appointment -- absolutely.

I hope I am clear here.

Nobody has a mandate in our societies in Cameroon including but not limited to the stakeholders. One thing is clear that we have a constitution that mandates everyone in government to declare their assets.

Did CPDM anglophones Parliamentarians, Governors and Ministers , directors and SDOs have mandate in French Cameroon? If not who were they serving? They served Paul Biya till date and the same system is still in place. This is where the man has a mandate. It is psychological and practical even though he does not have to be residing in Southern Cameroon. He has his agents in the likes of all the CPDM MPs, governors and Ministers etc etc .

It is not enough to state here that Paul Biya has no mandate in Southern Cameroon. What is the reality on the ground? The reality is that people like Paul Ayah and other CPDM anglophones have given him the mandate for as long as they have supported the system of injustice and marginalization.

We have to call a spade a spade if we have to change Cameroon otherwise, the same people who have sat on us will continue to manipulate those who like to be manipulated.

HOW DID CPDM PARLIAMENTARIANS GET INTO CAMEROON PARLIAMENT? HAS THE CORRUPT ELECTORAL PROCESS CHANGED?

ON CAMEROON POLITICS

My fellow Cameroonians and Concerned Citizens

The Foundation to the Case

Sincere greetings.

The only solution for Cameroon now is for us to concentrate on establishing the vision for a 24 months transitional government and the Cameroon Truth Commission during, which time we will all come together to rebuild Cameroon beyond President Paul Biya and his CPDM Ministers/officials and Parliamentarians past or present. The problems of Cameroon are very serious to the point where it does not matter what people think about the tribal or regional origins of people. It is easy to whip tribal or regional sentiments as a political ploy to divide and conquer but at the end of the day, we are still condemned to live in the same society. Let us rebuild first. In that way be sure that everyone has a fair chance to seek any public office. In the coming weeks, I will come out with a complete statement on the Cameroon Truth Commission. I know I had promised this but have been dealing with some personal family matters as you know.

We have the question of tribes, regions and people from all walks of life trying to survive under a corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. This is no longer what we should be dealing with in this century. We are bound to restructure Cameroon under a workable Federal Structure and system that will grant greater independence/autonomy to our people and allow them to elect their governors and others. All CPDM people have supported and helped President Paul Biya since he became President to appoint and impose Governors on our people. All CPDM Parliamentarians and Ex-Prime Ministers, Ex-Ministers, Ex-Governors,Ex-Parliamentarians,Ex-Managers, Ex-Ambassadors and Ex-whatever  have contributed to the state of oppression and corruption in Cameroon

We are caught up in a society where all us must figure a way out and that includes white and black people.Everyday, this is absolutely apparent to me because except there is profound lie that is very normal, why did we seek political asylum within the United States of America and why are people campaigning for the Presidency among asylees? How many Cameroonians in Europe and North America, Asia and Africa can vote? You see, we have a lot to change at home and abroad in order to give a voice to every Cameroonian at home and abroad in the development of our country as well as in terms of civic engagement. Until then, all the CPDM people just love the excitement and hysteria of the moment. It is just a waste of time. Oversea votes do not count. We rather be patient and alter the system.

That is I am bound to address this issue of CPDM Cameroonians trying to confuse you, Cameroonians once and for all with the hope that the selected few with a clean conscience who care deeply  about a better Cameroon, a virtuous and free Cameroon society, are not misled or distracted by people who knowingly have taken bribes from President Paul Biya and his CPDM government to challenge him at the ballot box. We know the truth. Why then do they want us to live in denial and just be fooled by this sensation and hysteria of the moment? Nobody is electable under the current electoral process in Cameroon except the CPDM candidates who eventually end up as the majority as a result of  massive disenfranchisement.

The Courage to keep focus

When Paul Tillich wrote " The Courge to Be" , it was not for the sake of it. We live in a world where we constantly need courageous actions in the face of adversities, deceptions, falsehoods and ignorance because with courage, we are sure to move this world forward and Cameroon is not going to be an exception to this rule. Other societies have depended largely on faith and courage, and behold, the birth of an amazing civilization endowed with progress, abundance and prosperity. How can this elude us when many of us are basking under it and enjoying it? How can anyone who claims they were persecuted by the CPDM regime want to stand in the way of change?

Hon Paul Ayah was and is still part of the CPDM system

Every Cameroonian has the right to seek public office. However, I honestly do not think that Hon Paul Ayah has any honest vision for Cameroon on his own. He, Hon Paul Ayah and Mr Akoson Raymond  have been struggling to dabble into a well programed vision, which I launched since 2009 in bid to convince himself that he has truly resigned from the CPDM regime!

There is no way in Cameroon for us to hold the CPDM regime accountable if out of a sudden somone resigns from the CPDM and begin to claim that he or she can change Cameroon immediately when he has not yet demonstrated a new character. There is absolutely no clarity and sincerity in the lurking conspiracy to manipulate one and betray a genuine and sacred call for a new Cameroon. That is why my vision for a transitional government was appropriate to allow this period  for people to observe and see the  transformation of Cameroonians who have fed from the system. There is too much CPDMNESS inside them, besides them,  around them  and about them.

Our plight has been further comfounded by the sheer fact that Hon Paul Ayah was part of the CPDM regime even when we were being harrassed, intimidated and threatened right here in the United States by the likes of CPDM-USA under Joe Mbu, Seagol Jude Okafor, Jackson Nanje etc Up till now Cameroonians have lost their lives and continue to suffer from violation of their human rights because of the CPDM regime, government and Parliamentarians. CPDM Parliamentarians were mute when the CPDM regime persecuted and prosecuted me and many Cameroonians for seeking social justice reforms in the Church. Where was Hon Paul Ayah who now claims he can change the CPDM system?

The Constitutional approach to assets Declarations

There is a constitutional method against, which backdrop every CPDM Parliamentarian, Opposition Parliamentarians and Government officials are expected to declare their assets.I do not think that an individual on his or her own can singlehandedly report to the Cameroon people that they have declared their assets. This is very manipulative given that we have learned that President Paul Biya does not care about people who have not stolen a lot of money!

But even if Hon Paul Ayah has  not stolen enough still upon all the time that he was loyal to the system before becoming a Parliamentarian, so far he has indirectly stolen from the people by collecting money from the CPDM regime with an unrealistic expectation and anticipation to DEFEAT HIS BOSS AT THE BOLLOT BOX. Did he collect any money from the system to run for elections that are based on a corrupt electoral process?

I mean his boss dictator Paul Biya whom he served until about October 2010 when he resigned and announced he would compete against him. How funny. When shall we ever get serious with life? This struggle is about the Constitution of Cameroon and it is clear to me that Hon Paul Ayah does not yet realize that Cameroon is for the future and not in the days of Ahidjo.

Plagiarism, copyright and intellectual dishonesty

While it is proper for Hon Paul Ayah to express his liberty for public office, I am personally very convinced now that Hon Paul Ayah and his strategic team championed by Mr Akoson Raymond have plagiarized and copy-righted my works and trying to make them like theirs.I am deeply concerned and just want to make sure that Mr Akoson Raymond and Hon Paul Ayah take note of this public notice as this matter will be cross-examined accordingly. We just want to be sure we are on the same wavelength when it comes to transparency and intellectual honesty. I have raised this issue over and over again. I stand corrected.

Long before, Hon Paul Ayah declared that he was running for President by the end of 2010, the vision for a new Cameroon under Cameroon Truth Commission had existed and well articulated by me ,which is publicly acknowledged by Mr Akoson in many of his communications with me by email and even phone calls. When Hon Paul Ayah first announced his candidacy, he subscribed to the vision for a 24 months transitional government but refused to acknowledge publicly that he was resonating with the person who had articulated this vision even before he announced his candidacy.

By the same token, Hon Paul Ayah is now talking about truth and reconciliation ,which are the ideas and vision that were never commenced by him. In short, Hon Paul Ayah and Mr Akoson Raymond must come clean about their intellectual dishonesty, plagiarism and copyright because if we have to change Paul Biya and the system , then those who are pandering to the public must come to equity with clean hands.

A campaign that is evasive and manipulative

Hon Paul Ayah claims that he wants to connect with Cameroonian in the Diapora! He wants to connect with CPDM -USA and not with Cameroonians in the Diaspora. We are not the same group of people. Majority of Cameroonians within the United States are CPDM people who are here on fake and fraudulent political asylums. They believe that it is wrong to hold them accountable. But since the Ex-CPDM Parliamentarian joined the Cameroon Diaspora , he has never answered any questions nor explained to anyone the concerns brought to his attention and his National Strategic Team. He has been very evasive just like his Boss President Paul Biya and the CPDM fanatics until Wikileaks revealed some secrets lately, which we did not know about.

Did Hon Paul Ayah and his National Strategic Team collect Money from the corrupt Government of Cameroon to run for President?

May be he did not steal a lot just like his former Anglophone boss Prime Minister Inoni Ephraim , which is why he is  not under scrutiny. However, for us Cameroonians glamouring for genuine change, all CPDM officials and Parliamentarians have to declare their assets according to article 66. This is the law, which was enacted by Parliament and signed  by President Paul Biya. I know I did question him on this ,which forced him to kind of  create the impression that he has declared his assets but  by trying to cut ahead of us to participate in fraudulent and corrupt elections, Hon Paul Ayah and the likes are trying to deny us the historic opportunity to change our country under the appropriate conditions for the good of everyone. Did Hon Paul Ayah collect money from the CPDM regime to run for President? If he did , then how can you collect money from the government that is corrupt and expect to defeat them?

Why did Hon Paul Ayah precipitate his resignation from the CPDM Parliament only when I called for assets declarations according to article 66 as well as for a transitional government?
We know all the tricks and the perpetartors know I am bold enough to expose them. Why did Hon Paul Ayah precipitate his resignation from the CPDM Parliament only after I called on Cameroon Parliament to hold the President accountable?  Besides, has the Cameroon Parliamentarians and officials acknowledged his resignation letter per the law? Where is a copy of his resignation memo if that is so important? There are all kinds of well calculated moves by anglophone CPDM members in and out of Cameroon to distort and derail the train for the freedom of Cameroon but we must stay the course. This has been the game plan of those who just want the leopard to change spots.

Has the same Electoral Process through, which Hon Paul Ayah was elected into CPDM Parliament changed  by any stretch of our imagination and experience?

The same electoral system and process that brought the likes of Hon Paul Ayah to Parliament are still in place. Nothing has changed and how are they going to defeat their boss at the ballot boss? Who is blind enough not to realize that all these is driven by a desire to keep us under the york of injustice for another 10 years? How did  CPDM Parliamentarians get into Parliament? Has that fraudulent electoral process changed since Hon Paul Ayah was last elected into CPDM majority Parliament?

Was it not proper for him to first of all change the electoral process while a Parliamentarian before he could even contest elections against his  boss he has served very well during his tenure? Can the Cameroon Parliament publish the file of Hon Paul Ayah to the public so that we get to know first hand what has been his activities in Parliament since? This hear-say without verification and confirmation is not what we need in an era where we want to hold government and public servant accountable.Where is evidence to support the allegation that he has been persecuted by the CPDM Parliament and CPDM regime?

The Truth about Hon Paul Ayah's refusal of a Ministerial Post during the reign of President Ahidjo

Whether or not he refused a Ministerial post in the days of Ahidjo is besides the point. It is like talking about Hon Foncha and Hon St Muna all the time. We are in the future. Sorry. The truth is he accepted a Parliamentary post under President Paul Biya and the CPDM regime, which was just an extension of the previous corrupt tyranny and dictatorship. So, how is this kind of argument supposed to become a litmust test for his credibility and moral authority  for change? People never resigned from systems. They stayed the course until they changed it. Hon Paul Ayah escaped from the CPDM because he could not take the heat. How can he possibly defeat his Boss? He resigned and simultaneously believes he can win his boss through the same fraudulent and corrupt system? Can people be so emotional in politics that they tend to ignore or forget facts?

The realistic argument for collective responsibility together with stakeholders of Cameroon

Even though some pretend that Cameroon is only  for Cameroonians, their huge presence inside Cameroon is eloquent testimony that in order to move forward, everyone, I mean  stakholders must be willing to cooperate with us  for a new Cameroon society. The question all along has been , who is capable to stir the ship of a transition and avoid Mr Paul Biya and his CPDM regime from recycling members of his government, and Party into government? We cannot ptomote good governance and the rule  in Cameroon without holding each other accountable.

All CPDM -USA within the United States who lied to the US officials that were persecuted by the CPDM regime whereas they are still loyal to the CPDM government and their Parliamentarians like Hon Paul Ayah cannot stop the spirit for change. Oh, yes we want to change Paul Biya but at the sametime your attitudes are not different from the Paul Biya you want to change. So, what  they are doing in broad day light is intentionally making the education, knowledge and experience we have acquired over the years a laughing stalk to the world.

Jesus Christs' incident with sinners and a corrupt CPDM Parliamentarian 's incident with people who have been part of the problems of injustice, corruption and gross violation of human rights of Cameroonians

Hmmmm, it is now really troubling to hear people claim that all of us have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God as a justification of the visit of a Presidential aspirant at Kondengui! The same people who think that they can change Paul Biya ought then to state as well that Paul Biya has sinned and is short of God's Glory. For this reason, there is no need to change him and the system that he embodies! Hon Paul Ayah, a CPDM member who has contributed to the  illegal imprisonments of many of my fellow Cameroonians languishing in jail is yet another great distractor. He did not visit political prisoners and also failed woefully to reiterate our call for all political prisoners to be freed.

No, he went to Kondengui to  show up claiming that they were locked up arbitrarily without due process! Hmmm! Who contributed to shape and retain the arbitrary system that illegally incarcerated people without due process? Is it not Hon CPDM Parliamentarian Paul Ayah who was a Judge and Parliamentarian? Can Hon Paul Ayah show us one instance where he fought against the arbitrary and illegal imprisonment of Cameroonians? How many bills did he table before Parliament to stop the arbitrary arrests and imprinsonment of Cameroonians?

Does Hon Paul Ayah who has served the CPDM regime comfortably and convenient have any evidence that the CPDM persecuted him?
What struggle or persecution has he been involved in ,which shows that he was indeed a true patriot other than peacefully resign from his own CPDM Party as a well calculated attempt to fool himself and us? How can this staunch CPDM Parliamentarian who has failed to hold the CPDM government accountable while in Parliament suddenly claim he can do so now? If President Paul Biya has been getting away with a lot of stuff, it is because Parliamentarians failed to bite. Hon Paul Ayah was amongst all the other Parliamentarians like himself who up till now cannot account to us how Cameroon is governed constitutionally. He has not joined the call to ask Paul Biya to step down ,which is constitutionally motivated. No, he wants to compete with his Boss at the polls. The same man who made him to be CPDM Parliamentarian. How did he get into Parliament?

The Struggle must continue . The crowd of corrupt CPDM people may continue. We are few but never underestimate what we are capable of.

The struggle for the freedom of Cameroon from corrupt tyranny and dictatorship must continue regardless of those CPDM tricksters who are wasting our time to delay this process in order to help  Mr Paul Biya become life President. All Cameroonians  who have studied and understood the concept of good governance and the rule of law know that neither Paul Biya nor any of his CPDM cohorts, past or present including but not limited to Hon EX-CPDM Parliamentarian Paul Ayah are eligible to organize or even run for public office in Cameroon.

These are people who have pilotted injustice, abuse of human rights ,arbitrary arrests and torture of innocent Cameroonian citizens leading to many prisoners of conscience and other horrible human rights abuses of our time. I have suffered under pontius Pilate( Hon Paul Ayah) in Cameroon while the CPDM corrupt Judges aided and abetted the PCC Synod to persecute and falsely prosecute innocent women who stood up for social justice with me. Where was Hon Paul Ayah when all these saga was going on in Cameroon?

Hon Paul Ayah resigned from the CPDM only towards the end of  2010 because he wanted to seek the Presidency and not because he was indeed a man who wanted the best for Cameroon and Cameroon. We cannot afford to compromise a struggle for the redemption and freedom of Cameroon by blindly believing in a man who has stakes in the CPDM political system and has fatten himself and his cohorts since he joined the system. While it is true that we all need each other in order to change Cameroon , there are some people who should  take a deep look at themselves. In fact, if Cameroon must undergo some moral surgery, call it transformation, then we must never make the ERROR of believing that any person who has served comfortably and conveniently under the CPDM regime as far as being a Parliamentarian is capable of changing the same system that they have been part of for decades.

Conclusion

Cameroon is ripe for a transitional government and the Cameroon Truth Commission. This is what I stand for and have called upon all Cameroonians to keep aside emotions and appeal to their conscience and commonsense. Those who are dying to seek public office in any capacity can wait until we rebuild that country in  a way that will represent our common dreams and aspirations regardless of tribe, region or race. After all is said and done, then those who are ambitious and overzealots can then throw their hearts and minds to run for public office. I stand corrected before all of you with respects to the same issues that I have discussed and shared with all Cameroonians and sundry. We cannot afford another primitive action again at this time in history because it is now abundantly clear to me that we are not in the 17 th century but rightfully have inherited the 21st century with all its benefits and blessings. Why then are some people still acting like the lost sheep?

FORMER US AMBASSADOR JANET E GARVEY ON CORRUPTION IN CAMEROON

Dear Civil Society International

This is the classified information by wikileaks on Cameroon, which only underscores Wikitruths about the state of corrupt tyranny and dictatorship in Cameroon for, which I have been persecuted and retaliated against since 2006. I did not need to know what is in the mind of President Paul Biya because we have a constitution ,which is binding on him as well as every other Cameroonian in public office. I am not surprised by his comments to the US Ambassador. One is rather flabbergasted by the fact that President Paul Biya does not believe that he is answerable to the Constitution and Civil Society. He sees himself as a kin

It is critical for the world to know that we cannot promote good governance and the rule of law anywhere in Cameroon so long as President Paul Biya and his government have not honored article 66 of the nation's constitution. This articles calls for the President and his government officials to declare their assets but none of them have never done so since he became President. This site will lead you to article 66 of the Constitution, which calls for all government officials to declare their assets and neither President Paul Biya not his Prime Ministers are excluded from being accountable.

In spite of the Cameroon anti-corruption Commission, President Paul Biya and former US Ambassador are very relaxed over the endemic nature of corruption in Cameroon to the extent, which President Paul Biya, as stated by the Ambassador shamelessly revealed to the Ambassador that the arrest of corrupt officials would not include his former Prime Minister Ephraim Inoni because;

SUBJECT: Cameroonian President Biya Gives Ambassador
Political/Economic Overview
CLASSIFIED BY: Janet E. Garvey, Ambassador, State; REASON: 1.4(C),
(D), (E)
                  "Corruption/Budget Transparency
9. (C) Ambassador praised Cameroon´s continued focus on
fighting corruption, including renewed arrests of alleged corrupt
officials, but also expressed concerns that legal procedures be
fully pursued. She detailed USG support for anti-corruption
efforts. Biya said he wouldn´t release those arrested for
corruption "until they admit they did something wrong." He was
pleased with USG cooperation in combating corruption and stressed
that corrupt officials "stole a lot of money." He confirmed that
more corruption-related arrests were coming under his
anti-corruption initiative Operation "Epervier" (Sparrowhawk),
although (contrary to rumor) he thought this would not likely
include former Prime Minister Ephraim Inoni because the evidence
against him was thin and he didn´t steal much money.
Epervier had
sent a useful anti-corruption signal which has had some effect, he
thought; however, he wanted to rethink the approach of arresting
officials and focus more on getting the stolen money back. He had
more information about corruption committed by former Secretary
General
in the Presidency Jean-Marie Atangana Mebara
