Mr Martin Yembe, brother,

People have traveled from other countries only to spend time studying American society and democracy. I have the advantage in that I have lived and studied the Cameroon society as well as the American society from all angles. I draw my conclusions based on personal experience as well as research from a political comparative studies.

American democratic principles are shaped by the greatness of the people as well as their spirit of determination and patriotism to sustain the institutions that has brought them this greatness/freedom that is the world's envy. I envy them a lot and everyday I pray that one can rise up to their level of consciousness . There is lack of consciousness among many Cameroonians stuck with a political system that defines a weak opposition.

What Americans ( I am not referring to those who have legally acquired this citizenship because they hardly become true Americans, anyways since their old ways in Cameroon follow them with no transformation of their mind sets) do everyday is to ensure that their downfall must never come from within as a result of someone altering , changing or resisting the power and voice of the constitution and wisdom of independent arms of government.

Mr Martin Yembe, the law is written in every society to protect individual rights as well as the civil and human rights of the people. The law takes into consideration the fact that people are entitled to certain things and that include but not limited to full participation in what they are entitled to like the free choice to join and become a member or shareholder or stakeholder of an organization, company or political party

When you're one of these, there are certain rights, rules and policies that must be followed provided they are established against the backdrop of what is considered to be acceptable and worthy of emulation. When we know that it is a profound moral obligation to uphold the rule of law for the sake of the sacred rights of others to prevail, what we are doing is creating space as well as showing respect to our fellow man , and being considerate to posterity.

I have shared enough knowledge and information , and I won't be overlaboring the obvious. The idea that some people can become chairpersons of a political party for life is a terrible tragedy and does not enhance the spirit of democracy. Rather than live in denial, one of the greatest obstacles to the success of the SDF and many others is the fact that just as Mr Paul Biya is CPDM ( l'etat c'est moi) so, too is people like Ni John Fru Ndi , Adamo Ndam Njoya, Mboua Massock, etc are too the SDF and others.This is so ridiculous and laughable because then there is absolutely no barometer to measure the political temperature for change granted that those who claim to be in opposition are very hostile to change from within.

The American government and Congress are listening to me because I am proving myself to them that I understand as well as very knowledgeable about what I am fighting for. I regorgitate to them the values that they fed me with directly or indirectly by their very superimposing presence in my country and life. This is how to go about it rather than always making a mockery of ourselves because only fools despise wisdom and knowledge that abounds

There are coming to terms with the fact that I am taking advantage of the greatest nation on earth as opposed to only looking at what many supposed to be American double standards. If you want to know that my "ideal , greatest United States of America deserves " this honor and veneration, point out to me the difference between being the chairperson of a democratic political party within the USA and being one within Cameroon?

How many chairpersons have you ever had since CPDM ,SDF,CDU and all what not were founed? What is the political implications when individual feel that they own a political party to extent, which any other person who seeks to replace them are demonized and outracized? Can't you see that there is something seriously wrong with the way that some people are wired in this life?

Aren't you embarrassed enough that a man who was selected by his peers to lead a political party with an agenda for social justice as the impetus for genuine grass root change in Cameroon is still there in spite of the fact that he has witnessed his own grand daughter and son turned 18 years at least ?

What does he tell his grand kids when they are visiting? At what point will Ni John Fru Ndi become an adviser to someone when he is stuck in one place? How does one even assess him when there is no way to take stock? The only way to succeed in making progress in society is when a breathe of fresh air flows into any system , no matter how perfect, righteous and excellent one is in office.

It does seem to me that many Cameroonians don't want to learn and understand how the USA operates and functions in the world. I grew up in Cameroon and while studying at the Protestant Faculty of Theology in Yaounde, I still remember, almost everyday, I was rushing to the American Cultural Center to watch and listen to world News. I also remember that the American Cultural center library was quite very useful to me when I was writing my dissertation on " The Ethics of Human Welfare..."

The Founder and CEO of Costco just stepped down, too!

I can 't count how many people are stepping down from privately founded and owned companies and what more of a political party that was an initiative of more than one person? How can people come together and entrust a public organization or company into your care and you hijack it and make it about yourself, building a power cult around you to make it impossible for succession and smooth transition? How on earth can you successful speak about democracy to anyone when for all the years you are the only person who is fit to be chairperson or lead? So, what becomes of posterity ?

What knowledge to you want from me again?

If I knew as much as just "My ideal nation, the greatest United Staes of America", I would be playing the fool. Can u, please, humbly expantiate, for purpose of knowledge...not debate. We might just learn something to move further ahead like your 'greatest USA'.

We must establish democratic guidelines,oversights and regulations for every political organizations when writing their internal rules because the individualistic and egocentric nature of a few who hijack political parties and make them about themselves instead of the people, tend to jeopardize the institution of democracy.

We have seen how these Cameroon political chairpersons have sabotaged our sense of governance because they have made political parties about themselves as far as claiming it is their private property.

In order to uphold democracy and ensure that there is equal opportunity for every to gain fair access to position of leadership and infleunce without being blocked by an internal clique of selfish individuals we must have oversights and regulations that will make democracy to work. This has been absolutely absent since 1958 when Cameroon became the so called independent nation

Let us be mindful of this and keep the faith for the future is right here and we are up to every task. Some of them like PAP just want to benefit from the present mediocrity but it will not be long it will be overhaulted
